Baked goods are great. Food is good. Price tag is expensive for what you actually get. Yogurt parfait is not good. It is sickly sweet, lacking fruit, and the granola is not standard granola but rather sugar and flour. The yogurt itself was fresh and delicious, but for $8? Favorite place for breakfast or lunch when we are in Kiawah. Zucchini muffins and coffee cake are delicious. We have also ordered the breakfast sandwiches and quiche. Nice tables to eat outside. We ate here a few times during our stay on Kiawah. My wife had the turkey avocado wrap, which was excellent. They have a good set of beers and wines, including "lunch" from Maine, which is a winner. We both tried the "pick three items" salad plates, and they were also good, especially the pickled shrimp. We also tried the baked goods for breakfast, which were great. Good gluten free options. Bright, inviting, clean and FRIENDLY! I'm so glad there is finally an alternative to getting my caffeine fix at Freshfields instead of just Java Java and SB. This little cafe tucked away in Freshfield Village is awesome! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. You get a large sandwich for your money. Also had a cold brew which was delicious. This is my favorite spot in Seabrook-Kiawah Island area. Great place to hangout, chill and eat delicious mornings or afternoon meals on your own or with families and friends! Atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. The staff always efficient, happy and polite. The food is absolutely amazing! I have been here multiple times and I enjoyed every item in the menu I have ordered. My family loves to eat here when they come to Seabrook Island. The Quiche, Humus with freshly made pita, Whipped Feta Toast are so delicious. Also, the White Beans Chicken Enchilada to take out for dinner is my family favorite. Highly recommended! read more

Service was really, slow, which was surprising since nothing actually has to be cooked! Sandwich was good, salad selection not what I was expecting (prepared salads vs green salads, and must pick 3 so I ended up with a dip too). Cute place but definitely not worth the money or the wait. read more

My family and I were wondering around fresh fields and in the mood for some light early dinner food. We stumbled upon this adorable cafe and immediately loved the interior. They offer a plate of three salads with amazing crackers so we went for it. I'm vegetarian so this is basically my dream. The bean salad was out of the park amazing. Like, I couldn't make it myself if I tried. I want another 10lbs of it! We also had the orzo and hummus. It was beautifully plated, everyone was really nice, and it was a perfect filling snack. What a disappointment! Nothing is made fresh to order, everything "grab and go"- which, for cooked breakfast food, translates to dried out, even when heated by the restaurant and eaten there. Glorified airline food- like Starbucks but without coffee choices. Overall an above average experience. The cafe itself is very clean inside, and the staff are very friendly and inviting. The food was better than expected, nothing to rage over necessarily, but better than your average coffee shop food. The coffee choices are slim and not many. It seems Café Eugenia is more focused on the bakery/food aspect then coffee which is totally fine. If you are looking for a place for coffee this may not be the spot. But if you want a good smaller meal or some delicious baked goods for a relaxing breakfast or lunch this is the place. read more

We were in Kiawah for two weeks and visited Cafe Eugenia nearly every day! Great little spot with fresh made food and cute place to eat. I loved that they have "lighter" options for lunch - I liked the broccoli salad a lot. Our family also enjoyed the quiche and the sausage biscuits for breakfast. Our favorite items by far though were the brown butter rice krispy treats (our family went NUTS over those and wish we could get them shipped to us lol) and the chocolate croissants (best we've had anywhere around Charleston/Kiawah). People were nice, however, Expensive for the portion sizes. Limited seating, while there is plenty of room to put more tables.. Nice for the tourists who don't mind paying ridiculous prices but not for the full time home owners who would live to support local businesses. read more

Delicious, fresh, creative! While stating on Seabrook for two weeks, I ate here almost everyday for a late lunch. The quiches are hearty and flavorful. The salads are cool and crunchy. The charcuterie sandwich on locally made focaccia bread is tip top. The staff is friendly, the service prompt, and the atmosphere is bright and casual.
