Soooo, it's been on my bucket list to try a lobster roll. During my trip to Kiawah Island beach I decided to indulge. I ordered both the Maine and Connecticut rolls at $25 bucks each, one with chips and one with onion rings for an extra five bucks. Hungry from four hours at the beach, I eagerly awaited the food for my daughter and I. After about seven minutes I retrieved my order...I was not impressed. We are both petite ladies, and it took us about five bites to finish the rolls. A grown man could literally eat it in two bites. Look at the size of the roll next to the onion rings! I'm new to Lobster rolls so maybe this is the usual? The best part of our lunch was the bread. Lobster was not old, but definitely not ocean fresh, and left a lot to be desired. I also thought I would have gotten fresh fried chips, but I was surprised with a dainty bag of Lays. The service was friendly and fast, and we enjoyed sitting on the park benches in the shade with our pups. Since it was cooked properly, I can't bring myself to give Lobster under three stars.

Found this place online, and went because I love Lobster rolls. Very high quality, priced at about what a lobster roll always costs (so, it's expensive). The onion rings are awesome. Friendly service.

Lobster roll and shrimp basket to go.

Right outside Kiawah/Seabrook Is entrance, Maine Line is quickly assessable for the vacationers at the beach. Located at an outdoor market, there are shaded spots to sit and eat or shop for produce and flowers while you wait for the freshest, and tastiest seafood you could want. Owned by the son of a Maine lobsterman, the lobster is sourced from the Maine coast and tastes as if it were just pulled up from the ocean. The roll is a must have and is worth the price tag. I can honestly say that it is better than Cherrystones of Bar Harbour ME. The roll is all lobster and no fill. The split top bun is buttered and perfectly toasted, and served with a sincere smile. The owner wanted feedback right away knowing his roll will be as good if not better than what is found in Bar Harbour. We also tasted the other fare as well. The fish sandwich was a fresh hunk of fried white fish seasoned well served on a freshly made bun. I am not a fan of onions so I got my without but it comes with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, with tartar on the side. It was a solid sandwich. The shrimp was super tasty and well seasoned. Deep fried in breading, the shrimp was really fresh and delicious. If you are in the Kiawah/Seabrook area, this is a must try place. I would drive from Folly to get lunch here honestly. Make a couple of hours of it by going to Angel Oak and stopping by Maine Line. It won't disappoint.

This is a true gem! Located near the entrance to Kiawah/Seabrook and goodness it's so delicious. Enjoyed a lobster roll and fish sandwich and I honestly wish we ordered maybe five more. Staff is friendly, helpful and quick in the service. Credit cards accepted easily! It's located in the parking lot of a wonderful local farm market so stop there while your seafood is prepared! Wonderfully fresh and just entirely delightful. Full star review, kudos y'all!

Awesome little lobster roll food truck. While it's not on the menu, he can also do Connecticut style lobster roll if you're not a fan of mayonnaise

So fun and even more delicious! Can't go wrong with any pick on the menu. Couldn't decide between the fish sandwich, lobster roll or shrimp tacos so had all three! ALL were tasty, but the fish sandwich was my favorite!

Yum! We were so happy to get the chance to try out the lobster rolls before leaving the area! So much lobster is packed into the buttery roll! We also tried their shrimp tacos which were also amazing!

Excellent lobster rolls. Buttery with just the right amount (not a ton) of Mayo but plenty of lobster. If you like lobster rolls this is the place to go, and we'll worth a stop on your way to kiawah/sea room. Worth the price though I wish they included a side of fries instead of chips. Onion rings and fish tacos also good.

What the food lacks in flavor is made up by its freshness. We tried the lobster roll and fish tacos.

We really enjoyed the fish sandwich and the lobster roll but the lobster was a little rubbery in texture which wasn't the best.

Service was good overall, though they didn't check on us very often. I had the Lunch on the Porch so I could sample a little bit of everything: she-crab soup, crab cake slider, and beet salad. Everything was delicious. The she-crab soup was my favorite -- rich, flavorful, and with some lump crab in the soup. The crab cake slider had very little filler, just how I like it, and the toasted bun added a nice texture. The sides of the fruits were fresh. Their Southern fried chicken sandwich was solid without feeling overly heavy. Overall, it was such a pleasant lunch experience.

The room is gorgeous, I love how it's divided up, reminded me of Spice Market RIP in NYC. Soaring ceilings, linen napkins, and a nice view of the ocean. Service was fantastic, always topping off the water. They give you a complimentary warm biscuit and big cracker with some pimiento cheese and herb butter. That was so nice and reminded me of old world hospitality. The food was very nice. Cup of she crab soup was fantastic. Generous portion of crab with a tiny kick. Incredible grilled cheese with a home made tomato bisque. And a massive blt that had blue crab in it and a fried green tomato. Very tasty. The bread could have been toasted a little longer but it didn't fall apart. Also came with a side salad which I picked Cesar and it did not dissapoint. One let down was being charged $7 for a glass of iced tea, which sat empty for the last 20 min of the meal and was not refilled. Aside from that it was a really nice lunch in a gorgeous setting.

They know nothing about running a restaurant. Expect this and let the glitches flow over you gently. You will have a great meal, at a great price. We (party of 2) went on a Saturday night and when we arrived there was one other couple being served and they were finishing up. For most of our time there we were the only customers. We brought our own beer in a small insulated bag. When we were seated the waitress told us about the fruit juices they were featuring. We showed her our little bag of beer and she said she needed to ask the kitchen if that was ok- and she left. She came back a few minutes later and assured us it was fine for us to drink our beer (you're welcome). For dinner, we started with chips and salsa and asked for a side of guacamole (none of the else things were on the menu). Our waitress again went to the kitchen to ask and again came back and said yes. We also ordered shrimp fajitas, one fish taco to share, and the special of the day: chicken molè. They brought out the chips and salsa, followed by the sizzling pan of fajitas (no silverware or tortillas). A few minutes later they brought out the guacamole. Ok- you have to try this guacamole. It is show stopping (and huge- look at the picture). Anyway, it was probably 15 minutes before they brought out tortillas or a fork to eat the fajitas so they were no longer too hot. BUT that guacamole made us so happy it didn't matter. We will be back (and next time I will ask for a side salad)

The restaurant itself is in an unassuming building that reminds me of a quaint house and the inside was cute and clean. The food itself was delicious. We order the shrimp fajitas, fish tacos, and empanadas. The shrimp fajitas are a large serving and also comes with rice and beans. My daughter loved the rice but the beans were a bit too salty. One reviewer noted that prices weren't listed on the menu, which is accurate and i agree that for transparency purposes, it would be nice to have menu prices listed. Otherwise, great dine in experience and would return!
