It had a nice comfortable vibe when you walk in, lots of different types of seating options from a lager table, bar type seating and comfy chairs for hanging out with friends or a book! Their menu was very extensive so we took a few minutes to look over things before choosing our meals. I ended up getting an omelette with home fries and toast and my husband got a Turkey and bacon sandwich. Meals came with sides which was nice and I got a coffee along with Emma breakfast. We stopped here on a road trip from Maine. I had the 641 burger, my fiance had the chilli burger, and our friend had a chicken wrap. Everything was decent but nothing good enough to make me want to go back. Pros: The burgers were cooked incredibly well, just the right amount of pink. -The bathroom was incredibly clean. Cons: I shouldn't pay $14 for a basic bacon cheeseburger with a 20oz soda and a bag of chips. First off - the burger was good but nothing great. 2nd a burger should come with fries, not chips - that comes off as a gimmick to increase profits. If I wanted a bag of chips I would go to a convenience store, not a restaurant. read more

Food here is consistently yummy..the hogan coffee is the best i have had out in a long time! Not sure if Hogan coffee sells only to retail establishments only. Came here with my sister last weekend. I got a chicken Caesar salad wrap with some salt and vinegar chips and a soda. The place was pretty busy because it also happened to be during Hudson Fest. But still we waited in line for maybe 2 minutes and got our order in very quickly. We waited about 20 min for our food to be brought out to us. It was really busy so I was pleased we received our food decently fast. The service here is great, everyone is very polite and accommodating. I really like the atmosphere on the inside with all the old photos and the bookshelf full of books. In my mind it's a perfect place to sit and read a good book or stop in for a nice casual lunch. This is such a quaint and relaxing place to sit in and eat or order takeout. They have a variety of sandwiches, pastries, soup, coffee/tea and crepes to choose from. We ordered the New England crepe and a 1/2 sandwich with soup combo. The New England crepe had turkey, cranberry, cheese and bacon. It was absolutely delicious! I don't like cranberry but they go well together and the cranberry sauce portion was very generous. The 1/2 sandwich was turkey with pesto and clam chowder soup. Although they were great I'd say it's a "safer" choice. Once you order, you pick anywhere you'd like to sit and they will bring the food to you by calling your name. Taking a stroll and heard rumors of sensational crepes, so popped in. Decor is nice (kind of polished rustic cafe) and we passed a few different seating options on our way to the ordering counter at the far end of the shop. Service was a bit brusk but we took it in stride and placed our order: a cup of carrot ginger soup + a province crepe = $14 Moseying back to the seating we pulled up chairs at a large old fashioned kitchen table. Order was delivered in a fair amount of time, but it couldn't have been fast enough - the musical selection was terrible (the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Rolling Stones should never be converted to jazz). My cuppa soup was pretty gingery (was glad I only got a cup), and the province crepe was ok (gotta say it's a great crepe batter, and the sauce was good, but the dish as a whole was nothing particularly astonishing....and the orange slices as a garnish threw me for a loop). Bussed our own table and departed....perchance to return (we have friends in the area), but with no promise to do so. read more

One of our most loved places in Hudson! Glad they added oat milk as a milk option for their lattes and hot chocolates. This made a huge difference for us since we are trying to reduce our dairy consumption. Also over the last year or so, they have considerably reduced their mistakes in orders. They have work to do. But it is a lovely place to come by for breakfast. Consistent traffic, although awkward flow. Good coffee. Happy to see the Hudson group stay steady and grow. I liked the apple and brie better under previous ownership, where thinly sliced green apple warmed slightly took on the gooey brie - I found their "apple pie filling" approach to be way too sweet, overwhelmingly so. I have been back a couple times, and my 5-Stars still stick. -- The ambiance is nice and relaxed, and reminds me of what Starbucks used to be, clean, enough space to sit down and enjoy yourself with a few friends. They also have free Wi-Fi. They have a lot of real books to read as well as some board games for the kids (or adults). The decor is very industrial and rustic. There is a mural on the wall of "The Lapointe Machine Tool Co." and the pieces on the wall are antique tools the machine co would have used. I ordered an Americano, and a bacon/egg/cheese on an everything bagel. Both photos are uploaded on the page. The sandwich was amazing. Real bacon, real egg, real cheese. This isn't some drive-through fast food. The coffee was incredible. I usually drink the Americano black, and it was not bitter at all. The chef brought my order right to the table, I saw him do this for other customers too. That level of service in a cafe is rare to find. It could just be the odd hour I came here, but all the same; I wasn't expecting that at all. This place is definitely worth checking out. This place screams "cool" from the moment you enter. It is an old factory space and they have used that to the best decorating advantage that they could-and it is wonderful-industrial softened with rustic wood. If you didn't know better, you could have stumbled into SOHO or somewhere similar. The menu is on the lighter side, mainly sandwiches, breakfast and lunch. Pastries as well. Coffee seems to be their main focus and they do it well, using local coffee. It is fabulous to have a local cafe, a quality alternative to Starbucks. I'm not a local and was visiting only for one day. I found this place in Yelp and thought it could be a good place for breakfast. It is! The food was served rather quickly and it was good, nothing great just good. I visited in a weekday, around 11am, and it was almost empty, which according to the lady who brought the coffee to my table is not the case on weekends. I would have given this place a full five-star if it wasn't because I felt it was a little pricey. Breakfast for one -omelette, small coffee and a side of toast for almost $15, add the tip and I almost spent $20. That's what I'd pay for lunch, tip included. However, the place is really nice and clean and the ambiance is relaxed and perfect for reading or working if you don't want to be in the office or you're tired of packed Starbucks. Highly recommend the peach smoothies. I come here solely for them. The other smoothies all have giant chunks of ice, but the peach one is smooth and delicious. Service isn't lightning quick, but for a small cafe with 3 or 4 employees on shift, I think that the speed is faster than most other cafes of this size, with the amount of food and drink options they have. I live up the street and always come and get a breaky sandwich on mornings I don't want to cook or when I'm hungover. I love their smoothies, sandwiches, and their bread! I always recommend this spot for breaky when I have friends over or friends visiting Hudson. I haven't had the chance to try the lunch here yet, but if it's anything like their breakfast it's gotta be good.
