This spot is popular with the medical staff and its patients! The first time I tried to go, the line was too long for me and my short parking meter so I decided to come back. After seeing the doc, I came down where the lovely barista was chatting with one of the medical building employees. It seemed their transaction ended a while ago but the conversation was that good! I love knowing the barista has a personality she shares with patrons! They have alllll the milks and alllll the fancy syrups so you can customize your drink as you'd like. And their large latte comes with 3 shots - you've been warned - and it's fabulous!! Cheese danishes are my weakness and theirs was looking large and in charge so I snagged it and ate it before pics were taken. Whooops- guess I'll have to go back and try again ;) With a small/nonexistent line, I'd love to come back. The barista is kind and as Mother's Day was just around the corner we discovered that we were both pet moms! My visit ended with reciprocal wishes to have a "happy Mother's Day", in honor of our fur babies, and I walked off toward the car, chirping birds as my soundtrack.

Recently discovered Cafe Amara, and I'm so glad I did, what a hidden treasure! It's a little tucked away under Building 8920, so it's not at eye level and easy to miss, but once you find it, you'll definitely be coming back. The chicken and salami wrap is seriously amazing, always fresh, packed with flavor, and just so good every single time. You can really tell they put care into their food. On top of that, the customer service is fantastic. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel appreciated from the moment you walk in. If you're nearby and haven't checked it out yet, don't sleep on this spot, it's a gem!!!

Cafe Amara is, sure, a go-to lunch spot for local professionals--but it's also so much more. To me, it's a true neighborhood diner. The food? Seriously good and always consistent. Our regulars are the chicken noodle soup, egg sandwich, and the salads (which are a feast). The chef is totally on point. Service is always warm and kind--same woman every time, and she's great. If Amara were in a trendier part of town, there'd be a line out the door every day.

Cafe Amara is a great spot to get a delicious coffee, snack, breakfast or lunch. The service is fast & friendly. Lida & Steve run a very professional business. I have eaten several dishes, and everything is good. The soups, salads & sandwiches are all yummy. The breakfast sandwich is the best I've ever had, full of great ingredients. Today I had the chicken pesto sandwich, and it was scrumptious. I highly recommend that you stop by and try the food soon!

This place is absolutely amazing! No matter what you order, you're going to love it. Every single thing on the menu is packed with flavor, and you truly can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. I've been coming here for lunch regularly over the past six months, and I've tried every single sandwich on the menu -- seriously! The owner is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the chicken wrap. It's my go-to -- flavorful, fresh, and always hits the spot. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for great food and even better vibes! This place is absolutely amazing! Hungry pregnant woman right here! Every time I leave my doctor's next door, I stop at Cafe Amara. The food is amazing and so fresh. My favorites are the ham and cheese egg croissant, the chicken Caesar salad, and the chicken soup. The place itself is super clean and relaxed and the employees are very nice and attentive. Love this place!

I am always on the search for breakfast burritos. Their breakfast burrito made it on my top 3. I have not tried their other food items, but I will be back to try them. I have not heard one bad thing about their food. If you are thinking about getting a breakfast burrito, please go with the Dialog breakfast burrito. The egg is so fluffy, the sausage is thick and tasty, and the spicy ketchup gives it a kick of heat. You can also help yourself to an unlimited amount of aji verde and chiptotle aioli sauce! I really enjoyed both options on the burrito. Their beverages all look delicious. My friend tried the Wake N Date and described it to be a perfect balance of sweetness. It was filling but did not leave her bloated after. The protein also did not have a weird aftertaste like others may have. I had the triple cin latte and I could not get over how delicious and creamy this was. Parking can be tricky because it's West Hollywood (metered parking). They have indoor and outdoor seating - pet friendly. I will be back soon!!

When I tried to take a sip, the lid shifted and the hot tea spilled onto my leg, burning my lip and causing a significant burn on my leg. Over the next several days, the burn blistered and the skin peeled. I contacted the café privately and sent photos because I wanted to give them an opportunity to respond before posting publicly. Unfortunately, I never received a reply. I'm sharing this so others can be aware. Hot beverages should be served safely, lids should be secure, and customers should be warned when a drink is hot enough to cause burns. I hope the café takes this seriously and improves its safety practices.

We decided to follow his advice on the morning of the WeHo PRIDE parade and figured we should make a reservation since we thought it might be busier than usual. It was only a ten-minute walk from our hotel, and although it wasn't that crowded when we arrived, it was just nice to get a table right away. Consisting of two sunroom-style dining areas separated by an open patio, the space is definitely an LA-chic brunch kind of place. It' wasn't our usual scene, but we decided to go with the upscale vibe even if it felt a bit pricey. The menu highlighted their artisan coffees, so Jamie ordered the $5.95 Iced Latte with a $1 Mexican Mocha chaser. I went for the $7 Iced Lavender Breeze Latte, a combination of an espresso blend, lavender, and coconut (Photo 6). They were both fanciful, flavorful, and very LA-style drinks. We then shared the $15 Homemade Cornbread, a cast-iron skillet version with a heaping amount of lard in the mix plus cultured butter and honey on the side. They even shaved rows of kernels on top (Photo 10). Tasty and kinda decadent. To offset that indulgence, Jamie first went for the refreshing $7 Fruit Cup of berries, melon, and grapes (Photo 8). He then ordered the $17 California Cobb Salad. It was a healthy bountiful of butter & romaine lettuce, egg, chicken, heirloom tomato, bacon, red onion, chives, avocado, and gorgonzola, drizzled with dijon mustard vinaigrette (Photo 9). I went a more traditional breakfast route and ordered the $23 Parisian Soft Omelette, eggs cooked to a velvety consistency and topped with buerre blanc and chives. It came with roast potatoes and grilled sourdough toast (Photo 7). Sated in true SoCal style. The interior is like a greenhouse. Shades of greens and taupe/beige tones throughout. Aesthetically pleasing for all your Instagram and other social media content. The hostess must be in a (bad) mood on Friday, May 22 because she tossed/threw the menus on our table when we wanted to sit in a specific table. Wonder what her issue was? My husband ordered the Surfer's Burrito ($18.50) and I got the OG Avocado Toast ($18). Additional $4.00 to add impossible sausage to the burrito. Food was good, nice and flavorful but definitely overpriced. $18 for a small ol avocado toast and at $18.50 for a burrito, you would think there's at least some kind of protein in it. They have an extensive cocktail list as well as mocktails and all kinds of juices available. I thought the Daughter Water ($9.00) sounded pretty refreshing. It's a cold pressed spritz with soda water, mint and your choice of juice. I decided on the water flower option with watermelon, fennel, honeydew, lime and lavender. Like everywhere in WeHo, metered parking on the streets so good luck with that. Minus one star for the menu being tossed at us and minus another star for the price to food portion.
