    Tiramisu latte with oat milk
    Alexis B.

Cafe Ambrosia has a nice interior and the location on a quiet street makes it seem like a great spot to sit and get some work done. Unfortunately, the tiramisu latte was pretty underwhelming. It had very little flavor and didn't really taste tiramisu. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight, but I expected more from the drink for the price.

Meh. Milk and cinnamon action. Cashier must've been having a bad day or sumn but I felt a Mr. Debby downer vibe. Pls don't do that around my whimsyyyy

Got the tiramisu matcha latte and it was a bit too sweet and creamy. Service was pretty good. The vibes inside are fantastic and definitely a great spot to study or do some work.

Came here with a run club and even though we weren't as large of a group, because the cafe is quite intimate / small, it was very evident we took up the majority of the space. I've seen that their Tiramisu Latte is popular, so I ordered that with oat milk and a cardamom bun on the side. The drink itself was a dessert - a ladyfinger dangling over the cup with cream on the bottom, the cup was primarily ice which was my main source of disappointment. The cardamom bun reminded me of LaCabra, so that lifted my mood a bit. I'd be back to try their other cafe drinks, but would caution the Tiramisu Latte isn't an ideal drink for the morning.

    Tiramisu latte -- soooo good

Super friendly staff, great atmosphere, and of course, delicious drinks. The tiramisu latte was absolutely fantastic, and I love the touch of the ladyfinger on top -- dipped into the latte and whipped cream, it made for a super tasty mini dessert! The cream, once incorporated into the latte, gave the drink the perfect amount of sweetness and a super velvety, luscious mouthfeel. The entire drink was decadent without ever getting too sweet or overwhelming. Interior doesn't have tooo much seating, but the varied set up makes it perfect for a solo outing, catch up with friends, or productive working session. Also shoutout to whoever made the playlist -- right up my alley with the sweet, melancholy pop. Perfect mood for a rainy summer afternoon.

Such a cute and delicious female-owned coffee shop! The interior is so calm and moody, and I would definitely sit in here and work one day. I LOVE their strawberry match latte, and they had a fire chocolate croissant too. I'm pretty picky about matcha, and the two times I ordered their matcha latte, the matcha was really well blended and the drink was very balanced. I will definitely come back and try their other drinks!

Friendly and quick service! I came here 2 days in a row and found them to be a great local cafe. The strawberry matcha was superior to the tiramisu matcha but both were delicious.

    Iced Matcha Tiramisu Latte (~$10)

Ordered: Iced Matcha Tiramisu Latte (~$10) Aya's take: My eyes lit up after seeing they had an Iced Matcha Tiramisu Latte and I immediately made my way over. This drink is actually not on the menu but the barista knew what I wanted, and maybe it's because people would be alarmed seeing the cost. It's definitely a creative and indulgent drink that I personally wouldn't get often but I liked that it was rich, creamy, and just slightly bitter from the matcha. The ladyfinger was a nice touch but would've been even better if it was soaked in matcha for added flavor and texture. It's more of a dessert beverage than a typical matcha but good try nonetheless!

Cafe is cozy and tucked away. You will walk in and be greeted with smiles. I saw the sign so I had to get the Tiramisu Matcha 10/10. Croissants are flaky but definitely just focus on their drinks.

A super cute cafe addition to Chelsea! There's a decent amount of seating inside and the tables are perfect for either chatting or working. There's free wifi, outlets, and a bathroom as well. We stopped by on a weekday afternoon and while there were some people chatting, the cafe was pretty quiet and peaceful. There was only one lady working behind the counter when I went, so service could be a bit slow (looks like they're trying to hire). I got the tiramisu latte ($7 but I had to switch to oat milk which came out to $9.25). The cream is thick and sweet, and I like the addition of the ladyfinger on top. I've had a few tiramisu lattes at this point and this one was really solid. Overall love the vibe and love the drinks - would definitely come back!

New coffee shop in Chelsea! COFFEE: I got a regular drip coffee ($4.50) that I enjoyed. My boyfriend is a sucker for sugary lattes and he got the Tiramisu latte ($7?). We think it's topped with marshmallow fluff and whipped cream mixture -- it's super thick and sweet. He was a fan, but referred to it as "sugary nonsense" (in a good way). Note that it's iced only, so maybe not the most appropriate for today in the 30s, but the cafe is warm inside! AMBIANCE: A+! Super cute coffee shop aesthetic with modern furniture, open space, and plants. Several tables available and many people on laptops. SERVICE: They were a little slow because I think they are short staffed (a sign on their door says they're hiring), which makes sense because they only just opened. The two women working while I were here were nice. BATHROOM: Clean! Had a good poop experience. OVERALL: Pumped for a cute new coffee shop in my neighborhood! Will be back!

This place is absolutely amazing and I need everyone to visit. I went for their tiramisu latte and it was utter perfection. They don't add any extra syrups, and the cream on top isn't too sweet, and it settles into the coffee quite nicely, adding a subtle sweetness. The lady finger on top was also such a cute addition. I still can't believe it's only $7. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and she offered us free scones, which were very light, fluffy, and yummy. The barista is also very nice and knowledgeable about coffee, and gave us a free matcha cream latte (which was also very good). Interior is very cozy and has a minimalistic + chic vibe, love the decor and how the light filters into the coffee shop.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.
