Outside (the storefront is for Tea Magic, but Cafe Bee is also in there)

Delicious coffee and breakfast burrito! I had mine without avocado. I'm only deducting a star because it was really difficult to find and it took a long time to get my food. I was looking for Cafe Bee and there was nothing on the outside of the store to indicate that this is where it was located. I walked back and forth on this block and checked the address multiple times. It seemed like it had closed and been replaced by a bubble tea shop. Eventually I looked really close at the front window and saw a sign referencing Cafe Bee. When I went in, it still looked mostly like a bubble tea shop except for one lone podium that said Cafe Bee with no one standing behind it. I almost gave up and left, but I asked the person who was running the counter of the bubble tea shop if cafe bee was still open. He called someone out from the back who immediately came and stood behind the podium to take my order. It took 20ish minutes for me to get my food, which, after how long it took me to find the place and order, felt even longer.

One of my most ordered from places. They really get it right every single time. I just ordered tonight, and got the most delish kale salad and penne vodka. It felt like I cooked it it was so fresh lol. I also have enough food to feed myself for quite a while so the portions are awesome for those who like leftovers! They're quick and the food is always piping hot. Try 'em!!

    Breakfast Burrito, delicious!

I'm pleasantly surprised by Cafe Bee! I saw them on seamless and thought I'd order. It was last minute and they still prepared my meal. Delivery arrived on time and everything was hot. Delivery guy was not very nice though! Not the restaurants fault. I ordered a large latte with almond milk (typed in special request area and they made it with almond milk!) and a breakfast burrito. The latte was actually delicious. It was made well and had a cocoa flavor profile. Perfect size and packed well. I love that my cup was full! This latte with almond milk was $4.95. Totally worth it! And I'd definitely order it again. The breakfast burrito had a nice presentation upon opening it (amazing for delivery!). Shredded carrots and fresh greens. The burrito itself had eggs, bacon, avocado, tomatoes, cheese, and onion. Delicious!!! I'd definitely recommend it and order it again! It was stuffed with meats and veggies and very filling. It was $13 and totally worth it as well. I'll be ordering from Cafe Bee again! I also love the custom coffee cups and logo. Very cute.

This restaurant messed up my delivery order. Food came cold, scrambled eggs didn't have cheese in them, and my side of avocado wasn't there. I called the restaurant to have them remake and RE deliver my order and they sent me a slice of cheese and avocado! Who does that?! Smh

This spot has the best food i had ever tried. It's your moneys worth. Food was amazing. I brought my family and everyone loved it. Highly recommended. Everything is served very well and most importantly delicious.

Ordered fresh salad and this is how it was delivered. Old soggy lettuce... Veggies all brown... inedible!

Soggy salad! Pasta over cooked and soggy. It's just aggravating when you spend so much money and the food is inedible. All main dishes were over cooked. Not fresh. We order 4 different salads and 4 pasta dishes. The smoothie was good. The sweets were tasty. For the amount of food we had to waste because it was pre-packed with old rotten lettuce. Soggy inedible ingredients, it's a total waste of money. Needless to say we won't be ordering from Cafe Bee again.

    Yummy yummy!!!

Like this place so much! People are so nice and warm here! It's the first time made me like American food...haha! Honestly, I am not used to sandwich before I tried Cafe Bee. Cold bread, cold milk, cold sandwich are really not my type. Well, cafe bee has free hot soup comes with sandwich! Isn't it just beautiful~~~Both vegan lentil and chicken quinoa are so yummy!!! The chorizo N egg sandwich, avocado toast, smoke turkey sandwich(I changed to toast) taste soooo goooood! Salad is good but I like the sandwich the most! Best place to have some fast and delicious brunch with friends or alone. Cause it has free wifi!!!haha

3.5 Stars Saw a great deal on Groupon so decided to come here. Small place but the service and food was good enough for repeated visits. TL;DR: Overall (3.5 star): A tiny and unobtrusive venue by UWS that would appeal to the coffee shop freelancers. Great menu, a bit overpriced but overall a place that warrants few visits to try out their interesting menu. FULL REVIEW: Service (1 star): The cashier/waitress was very welcoming and upon arrival greeted us and suggested a table to be seated. However, the service can be slow as she was the only one acting as the waitress and cashier. The typical wait time seems to be around 10-20 mins depending on how busy it gets. We experienced about 8-10 mins from moment we order to when we got out appetizer. Menu (1 star): I really liked their menu. There has been an explosion of coffee shops with more provocative and daring menus. This place has Soba noodle and salmon tartar which are both enticing. Pricing (0.5 star): I suppose to be daring, the prices would have to reflect that. A one person sit in can easily run you over $20. Which isn't to say it's outrageous, Aroma comes to mind, but the prices are expectedly high for such a trendier coffee shop. Presentation/Atmosphere (0.5 star): Neat and subdued with color palettes being whites and grays for their interior decor. The walls had framed canvases of their menu which I guess helps to visualize what you get. It's about 9-10 table setup that functions as a quiet coffee shop with soft contemporary music. I liked their plating, like their restaurant, its very neat and clean but could be a little more expressive. Taste (0.5 star): Unfortunately we were unable to try their more proactive dishes due to our Groupon (only main entrees), so we went with the jumbo shrimp linguini and their burger. Both good but not exceptional. Both came with a "real" salad, meaning it wasn't iceberg lettuce and cucumbers, it was spinach/spring mix. Also tried their lentil soup which was very good. Really enjoyed that. Bill: - Medium macchiato - $4.25 - Lentil soup bowl - $7 - Jumbo shrimp linguini - $16 - Beef burger (with cheese) - $13 Total: ~$40 - $25 (Groupon) = $20 (with gratuity at our own discretion) Enjoy.

This isn't closed. My work ordered over a dozen sandwiches. Both times we ordered, the sandwiches barely had meat in them- mostly vegetables. The hummus in the hummus wrap was unrecognizable. They also have us curry chicken when we didn't order that. They also didn't label the sandwiches. For spending over $300 we expect more.

Very helpful staff. Bought the Greek yogurt with granola and fruit and all fresh and good. Espresso was decent. I like how they're mindful to those who use wheelchairs as they have a similar electronic elevator device like the MTA buses have. Clean decor and nice coffee and smoothie menu.

This is in a ritzy part of town on 60th St between Madison Ave & Park Ave with Ferraris & Bentleys parked on the street, so you have to guess that the storefront rent must be astronomical. But oh, these gastronomical sandwiches are off the charts and can justify the price. Once you decipher the names of the sandwiches on the menu and see what's between the bread, you will want to try all of them. I settled on 2 finalists, but decided get both anyway. All sandwiches are made fresh with some of the best looking meats & ingredients I've ever seen! And what's better is that they bake all the focaccia for the sandwiches fresh and in-house. You see the bread oven right behind the register. I wonder if I could buy a slab of that bread? The L'Inferno brought images of Danté Alighieri's version of the Underworld to mind, but was a spicy hot masterpiece of sandwich art. The combination of thinly sliced roasted porchetta, nduja, spicy grilled eggplant & arugula was fantastic! The fresh baked focaccia took it even further. But I did learn something new today besides Italian pronunciation, which was that nduja (silent n) is a spicy sausage from Calabrese that's spreadable like butter. I gotta get me some of that stuff! The La Paradiso sounds like the third installment of Danté's Divine Comedy trilogy, but is a very mild, but tasty sandwich with mortadella, stracciatella & crushed pistachios in pistachio cream. The pistachio cream is a stroke of culinary genius and gives the sandwich an amazingly smooth texture & taste. The only part of the Divine Comedy missing from their menu is La Purgatorio and I do not want to find out what would go into that sandwich!

We got the limonata and mandarino to drink and the la toscana and la paradiso for our sandwiches. They are massive so prepare for leftovers. La Toscana- The foccacia is soft and fluffy. Someone order a Hot Italian? Here I am…read more The legendary Florentine sandwich shop achieved global fame by earning some of the highest praise in food journalism for its massive, fresh-baked schiacciata sandwiches. Google their name and "best" and get hundreds of hits, but the majors who crowned them "best sandwich" title include Saveur Magazine, the big one touted by the family; Eater NY, ranking La Paradiso the most elite Italian sandwich outside of Italy; Las Vegas Weekly, who crowned them "Home of the world's best sandwiches"; TripAdvisor, for whom the Italian original is the most reviewed eatery with a near perfect rating; and The Infatuation NYC guides who promise the execution of the crispy, airy schiacciata bread completely justifies the hype. All 17 options looked amazing, so I spoke to a regular in line, telling her I couldn't decide between "La Paradiso", the most praised (even though she informed me "mortadella is just bolonie" or the Hot Italian, which was more my style. So, I did what any gluttonous American would do and I got both. And a Diet Coke, of course. La Paradiso has thinly sliced bolonie for a savory base, with creamy shredded stacciatella cheese, with sweet but earthy pistachio cream, and a sprinkle of toasted pistachio for texture (that I didn't detect). The Hot Italian had thin, lean turkey, spicy and smoky spreadable Calabrian pork sausage, a balancing provolone, calabrian chili honey, and peppery arugula (that they claim adds crunch that I didn't detect). Were they life-changing? No. But I rank Paradiso a 8.8 and Hot Italian a 10. And because everyone is hard-working and everything is so freshly prepared and cut, it's a class act. They should seriously make a sign that says, "Can't decide? Get two!" and then give me free sandwiches on my yearly trips for the idea.

I had seen a lot of reviews praising the General Tso's chicken, but I've honestly avoided the Chinese-American dish for years. Too often it's overly sweet with a heavy batter. Still, after seeing plate after plate come out to nearby tables, I decided to give it a try. What a surprise. It was a huge portion of fresh white meat chicken with a light coating and a perfectly balanced sauce, served piping hot. We couldn't finish it (knowing we had a big dinner later), but I kept going back for "just one more piece" more times than I'd like to admit. Reservations aren't accepted for parties of two, but in the late afternoon it wasn't busy at all, we walked right in with no wait. Would absolutely come back.

I have three big guys with me and sometimes quick lunches need to be more filling than fast food options, so we chose Alidoro's under Rockefeller Plaza. We could walk to it form the hotel and it was in the middle off all we wanted to show the boys on their first day (first time) in the city. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
