In Iowa I usually get overheated milk, espresso that was roasted 2 steps beyond French roast, with a nice dirt and tar aftertaste. Dunn Brothers did it right! Perfect milk temperature. I mean perfect. Possibly the best I've ever had, and I've had coffee in some of the best shops in America. The espresso was spectacularly roasted, not burned in the espresso machine, and came out exactly like I hope for when I dream of coffee. And trust me, I dream about coffee. The staff was friendly, store was clean and well kept, all the customers were happy. Overall this place just oozes happiness, which we could all use some more of these days. These guys love what they do and it show, in the store, the coffee, their attitude, and all through the experience. I can't wait to come back and test more of the menu. And let's be honest I'm going to destroy a pistachio muffin the next time I'm here, Would give 6 stars if possible, best latte I've had in years.

The party I met up with experienced the same lack of attention ordering her coffee prior me, complaining she had to repeat herself several times. I don't know how the food or drinks were because after almost 20 minutes of waiting in the drive through (that you can't get out of once you're in) I just left when the car in front of me pulled away. Rude employees and awful experience. Will not come back to this one. There's one down the road a few miles that's way better with nicer staff.

There was a line but it went quickly. Know that there is only one size here, what I would consider an extremely small coffee but my latte was good. (The higher end and more artisanal the place, the smaller the cup!) I also got a chorizo-fajita scone to go. It would have been better if it had been heated. That scone really needed more spice. I loved the inside art, merchandise and they had a cool reusable cups for purchase (coozies with a glass jar) that I think allowed for lots of free coffee.
