A few pieces of shrimp and not much more pieces of sausage...they were tasty but lacking in quantity. Ended up asking for a lid for the plastic container it was served in because it took so long to get that I was now running late for my meeting. Wow! Run, don't walk to this restaurant! We had a party of 11. They were easily able to accommodate us on a Friday night. I'm a very picky fish eater and wasn't sure I would find anything to eat on the menu. I chose the blackened salmon platter (I neglected to get a pic). I don't like salmon. Reservations are needed for dine-in. This place is an absolute gem for seafood lovers and Cajun enthusiasts. Worth every bite. One of us got the garlic butter sauce and loved it; I got the crabby cajun sauce and loved it, it's got a good kick to it but nothing crazy! The food is very good, especially if you like spicy and/or New Orleans style food. The Cajun spices are excellent. I especially like liked the jambalaya. It is like a bowl full of magic, with shrimp and sausage, all with an amazing mix of spices. My companions had the seafood boil, which is this place's specialty. The boil food is customizable, with multiple flavors and three levels of spice. I tried the "crab attack" heat level, which is the highest. I would say it is about twenty percent of the highest heat you would get at a Thai restaurant. So, spicy enough to taste good but it isn't going to make most spice lovers cry. I thought it tasted very good, though. The service is good. Our waiter was very attentive. However, I have to say that the food comes out of the kitchen very slowly. We waited for about an hour for our food. So, if you are willing to wait an hour for really good food, I recommend it. But, if you are in a hurry, eat elsewhere. read more

The food and drink was really good but the service was horribly slow. We arrived at 5:30pm with 3 adults and one child. There were only 5 other tables seated with guests at the same time. The 50 dollar seafood platter was over cooked or really old, the crab was hollow and dried up, the food did not match the quality I would expect. I went here with a few friends yesterday. It was really good! The seafood was fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. They have a number of creative sauces and seasonings that you can pick from. I chose the lemon pepper sauce and original seasoning to go with the snow crab and shrimp platter. The platter includes corn and potatoes, and I added andouille which was well made. I'd looked at the menu before going, and was thinking the sauce might overwhelm the seafood. It didn't, but instead added great flavor. Sides other than corn and potatoes are available as part of a build your own platter, or as add on's. I'm going back so that I can try their other menu items like pasta, gumbo, and jambalaya. Between the impeccable service I received & the absolutely authentic friendliness of those there, the food tastes this good because it's wholesome. We ate at Crab Attack 2 today in Cedar Falls at the College Square Mall. It was outstanding. The quality of food was very good. The selection was also quite good. This was their very first day in Cedar Falls and I think we'll be back again soon. It's in the food court. You walk up and order and eat in the court, or take it with you. We thought it was affordable, especially for seafood in Iowa, and it tasted outstanding. The basic level of cajun spice is really good for anyone not familiar with it, and they can get spicier. We had shrimp and also some crawfish, and had some left over to take home. It was fresh, and really tasty. I love their sauce. Make sure you get plenty of napkins, however! read more

We went to this place 2/23/2023. First thing we walk in through the door by the back parking lot. First thing we hear How can I help you. I said just the tow of us. Then I hear Next time use the other door that is the employee entrance. Strange I thought, this seemed like the correct door. Apparently you need to walk to the front. We ordered and it took sometime but not long. I got crab legs so did my husband and he got friend shrimp as well. We were given one cracker to share. My husbands food served in a to go tin. With plastic utensils to get meat out of crab legs. I was served my dinner in a square plate with tinfoil wrapped and plastic utensils. Very hard to get our crab while sharing a one cracker thing. After I ate my meal I gave my left overs to my husbands left over container (his plate). I then discovered my plate was a top to a Styrofoam to go container. How weird, with the cost of our meal I thought we could have been given proper plates and utensils since we were eating in the restaurant. We will not be back. read more

From the first taste of the authentic Louisiana Gumbo I was a fan. All the food was excellent! But, my disappointment was to be handed a plastic fork and my wonderful Gumbo in STYROFOAM! The food is much too good to be presented this way. I get it for take out...but IF I am going to pay good money for great food I don't want a plastic fork and a styrofoam cup!
