I give the coffee drink (therapy protein shake) a 5 star and the lox bagel a 4. The service was fast and decent for the price you pay. It cost $30 for 2 drinks and 2 bagel sandwiches. My friends got egg sandwiches and said they were good. They don't toast the bagels and I think that would make them a 5 star! They have a huge variety of coffee drinks so there is something for everybody. They even have little patio seating outside. It is a very cute little place. I recommend stopping by! read more

This is a mostly walk up spot, but there is a drive through open for 1 car or so. I got the acai bowl (because I'm obsessed with acai bowls!!!). I didn't think it was that great. The acai didn't taste very flavorful and was a bit watery. You can't beat the price though- $6 with PB! Still, not sure I would get the acai bowl here again. Cute little spot in Ocean Beach, and just what I was looking for without even knowing I was looking for it! Two girls working the cart were super friendly, and I got a big acai bowl to go. Sadly, it wasn't as good as the two acai bowls I've had this week. I can't put my finger on why, but I just didn't enjoy it and probably wouldn't get it again. Almost got a coffee, but I had just finished one and their prices were a bit high... $2 for a SMALL drip. Even my third wave coffee joints are cheaper than that. It's alright. I've only been here one time because I had to see which one was better. It's hard to compete with a place like Val's which is literally down the street. The only reason I would come here is because of convenience. And by that I mean I have to not want to turn and go another few feet. The açai bowl I had was runny and practically just water. I'm giving 2 starts because the service, the girls are very nice and always give you a smile. However, The owners should train them on coffee making. They ALWAYS burn the milk. That's why I stop going there in first place. The milk on a coffee shouldn't burn your mouth on the first sip. The coffee should be ready to drink temperature. Hope they improve on that. read more

The best Vanilla Chai hands down. I've never been much of a coffee drinker until I started working in OB. I used to go to the Cafe Bella on Newport Ave before they closed it down. That location was a block walking distance so I was there often. This location is at least on my way to work so I'm not too bummed. The Vanilla Chai is the BEST chai I've ever had. I still continue to give other places a chance, but Cafe Bella always comes out on top. It's the only one without an intense tea aftertaste. You can add espresso and it will still be sweet but I prefer just a smooth, sweet taste without much caffeine. The girls are always sweet and attentive. They work hard. I usually don't have to wait long in the drive thru. read more

Loved this place! What a great idea. Everyone should stop (or drive) by here. I was visiting my girlfriend in Ocean Beach, and this is her favorite go to coffee spot. I love that they have a drive up and walk up window, and they were very reasonably priced. The iced coffee is delicious and they add a shot of espresso (at no cost)! They also have amazing whole wheat everything bagels, and I swear it had the perfect amount of cream cheese. They brew Yerba mate here too, and my friends boyfriend loves the passion fruit Yerba. I was told they also have great açaí bowls. The staff was so friendly. Everyone was smiling and accommodating, which was really so nice. I was so happy my friend showed me this cute little cafe! They honestly didn't deserve the tip we gave (just out of respect for the service industry) she didn't great us, made sly comments about our order, and was too busy chatting unprofessionally with her friends to take my card. It is the second time that I'm trying to have a decent bagel! My last experience was TERRIBLE! All burned. Today my husband went there, told them and showed them the picture of the bagel from last week, totally burned, and the girl not even look to the picture, just said that look bad, laugh with her friend and told her to give him one that is not so burned! Unacceptable behavior. When he arrived home, surprise, they didn't put any cream cheese. I work at the same business and that is totally unacceptable. Wonderful drive thru and very conveniently located. Val and staff are fabulous. The coffee is delicious and strong-I always get their Hammerheads. Their fresh fruit smoothies are also very good. There are some nearby plastic tables and chairs under umbrellas that you can chill out under. My only problem: when you walk up instead of drive up, there are always dogs (with their owners) underfoot. Since this is the last stop before you hit Dog's Beach, expect to find lots of dogs galore! Not a problem but I don't appreciate fido slobbering on my feet when I am in line for a Latte! Nothing could detract from the 5 STAR YELP Cafe Bella deserves! read more
