Diane was the only person working the front, and she was AWESOME!!! Just flew in on a morning flight. Dropped off our luggage at the Magic Castle, and found this lil breakfast spot! I loved the sunnyside up eggs all upside and sunny on the ceiling! Nice little bar for a little spot! The food did NOT disappoint! Everything was cooked well and so flavorful! My steak was over cooked, but it had flavor, and I didn't mind it. The hash browns were both crispy AND soft! The chicken pesto sandwich was off da hinges with just enough pesto sauce! The onion rings were crazy crispy and seasoned well! French toast was nice and fluffy! The food even came out quickly! Diane and my wife even had full on conversations and she recommended a lot of other great spots for us to visit! She was super nice and friendly! Great service! Must go to place to be! Can't wait to go back and try something else!

This is definitive example of a hidden gem. The Mexican food is in my opinion some of the best in Los Angeles. Period. It's a diamond in the rough, don't let the fact that it's in the best Western for you. Everything on the menu is great, and all the salsas are made in house by one of the best Mexican chefs in the United States. Really. I can't recommend it more.

Quick, delicious, friendly service. Eat outside or inside. Lots to choose from & prices are decent.

I was at the Hollywood Bowl for an all day event and needed a quick and inexpensive bite to eat. We stumbled across this small but cute spot inside a motel. Loved the decor, very Baja California vibes. Server was very friendly and attentive. The French toast was scrumptious! Appreciated that the bananas were not over ripe and the French toast was just sweet enough. If I'm ever in the area I would definitely go back.

This is a little restaurant attached to the Best Western in Hollywood. We stayed at the hotel recently and wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading home. Service was good. The gentleman that helped us was very friendly and seemed to take a lot of pride in the restaurant. Food was good. We ordered the easy breakfast, fried zucchini and the club sandwich. I really enjoyed the fried zucchini. It came out hot, crispy and seasoned well. The club sandwich was also very good. It was on sourdough bread and I got it with fries. The easy breakfast was fine, but the only feedback that I have to say was the pancakes weren't the ideal texture. They tasted fine, but they had the signs that the batter might have been over mixed. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience.

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. Would like to try the chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts next time we stop by!

I have carried life's burden and traveled continents, but one thing remains the same after my many moons of life, the taste of a Big Mac. The taste of a burger so consistent and familiar, that my tastebuds can traverse continents and taste fermented shark in the Netherlands, broiled Mackerel in Kyoto, or a cheeseburger in Reykjavik. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Finally made it to Beachwood Cafe!…read more On a random Sunday, I was dreading how crowded it was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in, the crowd of people were waiting for tables so I was able to head left to the register/counter. For my first meal here, I wanted to try the 12" Micky D's Dropout pizza (minus onions). As I looked around, there was a decent amount of seating from stools against the windows to a private room with curtains open off the register area. Bright, airy and busy were my first impressions. I have to say service was a standout; I had stood at the register for not even a moment when a nice girl smiled and said someone would be right with me and right then, a guy came on over to take my order and answer any questions I had. As for the food, I enjoyed this unique pizza. The sauce had a slight kick to it for my weak palate, and I think my favorite part of this was the pickles throughout. Crust was crispy, and overall, it was filling. Looking forward to my next visit, either to dine in or getting it to go... Okay, my following visit was the next day and I loaded up on grease (bacon) and starch (breakfast potatoes and panko crusted fries). Bacon and breakfast potatoes were good, fries were okay but even at okay, I wiped the plate clean. Service once again was A+, and one day I'll dine in to have the whole experience. Finally a third trip within the week, I had the s'mores latte and chocolate chip pancakes. I wish the latter came in 2 instead of 3 since I never finish all of them, but they were okay. I'd skip the latte next time and try something else that I'm sure is good. The only thing that prevents this from being 5-stars is that the price on the receipt for the pizza I had is higher than the online menu. It's only a couple dollars difference (GF crust is additional but I did not order that) but I wish they were all on the same page. I admit it was the higher price on their physical menu, but I hope they can update accordingly. I know the excuse would be the typical 'prices are subject to change without notice'... Parking is actually pretty good from what I've experienced so far on a weekend and during the week; they have suggestions on their website which I posted below-

The stroganoff and pappardelle arrived in its own covered dish, so hot it sat on a wood base. While it was a good comfort food dish I thought the horse radish was a little too forward for my taste. It was my companion's entree and she really enjoyed it and there was enough to take home. I had the trout filet with its crispy pepita topping served with blistered green beans. Very happy with my choice and it was also a generous portion. Dessert was the yuzu olive oil cake for my friend and butterscotch budino for me.
