They make these in a particular way, please ask them to explain it to you: the end result is fantastic), fish tacos (7/10, they're good, but I am neither a fish nor a taco person (however, I do like some good shrimp tacos). These ones in particular were plated and served so well ( they use blue corn tortilla: top-notch ingredient) and the ingredients were fresh, but maybe it was the type of fish? I don't really know, they were good, but I definitely would not order them again). Also, my friend had a coconut cold brew which he really enjoyed. Service was all around great. I highly recommend timing your visit around sunset to fully enjoy the charming string lights and romantic ambiance they create. Unfortunately, a bug bit me while I was sitting at our picnic table, so next time I'll probably opt for indoor seating. I was craving a high-quality pizza, and this place absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the mushroom pizza, and it did not disappoint. I also tried the house radicchio salad, but it wasn't my favorite. The mix of herbs and greens came across as overly bitter, and I couldn't finish it. One thing to note: I requested tap water when placing our order but later noticed I had been charged for their bottled still water. After bringing it to their attention, they promptly removed the charge. Be sure to double-check your receipt. I'm happy with how quickly they fixed the mistake tho! After the order was taken, things seems to have moved along with the food coming out in a reasonable amount of time. Simple mistake but noticeable. There was no salt at the table. Other tables had salt and pepper present, and it's not an establishment that requires that you intentionally ask for seasoning. Indoor seating has that Tulum vibe--chandeliers, music, really nice energy. Now that it's warming up, the patio is also a solid move. Food is consistently good. The weather was great the morning we went and we enjoyed the walk over to the restaurant as well as Larchmont Village in general. A beautiful street lined with lots of shops and cafes. Arriving at Great White, we did not reserve ahead of time. However, it was pretty early in the morning (right before their 11 AM lunch service began) so we got seated immediately. Our server and the hostess were both incredibly kind and attentive. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous, a very cozy and warm vibe. We ordered the breakfast burrito, swim club, chicken sandwich, and avocado toast. Everything on the menu looked delicious so we had a hard time choosing. The breakfast burrito was delicious and the perfect portion for breakfast. The swim club was a much larger portion with two halves of a hearty sandwich as well as fries. It is more suited for a full lunch meal rather than a lighter breakfast. The avocado toast had bread that was very crispy and a little bit hard to cut, but the avocado was very generous and well seasoned. Having dined at both Great White locations -- West Hollywood and Larchmont -- I can confidently say Larchmont is the stronger of the two, at least when it comes to food quality. There's a certain composure to this location that feels quintessentially Larchmont: an Aesop-esque "controlled cool," where the style is intentional but never try-hard. The interior design deserves its own applause. The space is wrapped in warm, beige-toned plaster that feels almost sun-baked, with softly rounded arches and recessed niches that give the room an airy, Mediterranean calm. It's equal parts Cycladic Greek island minimalism and coastal Spanish villa -- clean, understated, and effortlessly chic. The natural textures pair perfectly with the restrained color palette, creating a space that feels curated yet welcoming, like you've stumbled into a boutique hotel lobby somewhere along the Aegean. Even the bathrooms keep the aesthetic consistent, proving the design intent is thought through from start to finish. The menu has its hits and misses, but when it's good, it's very good. Over multiple visits, I've worked my way through the smoked salmon pizza, Margherita pizza, crispy chicken wings, brussel sprouts, shrimp pasta, bolognese, shaken iced latte with cold foam, and matcha latte. The pizzas hold their own. The Margherita does exactly what you want a Margherita to do -- solid crust, balanced tomato-to-mozzarella ratio -- but the standout is the smoked salmon pizza. Generous layers of silky salmon drape over a crisp yet tender base, accented by bright, herby notes and just enough tang from the cream cheese-like spread to keep things lively. It's indulgent without feeling heavy. Let's start by the aesthetic, very simple but chic and calming. We pulled into a parking spot right away as it was a Thursday but there is public parking if it is busy. The food was clean, and tasty. I had the Great white breakfast and it had everything: sourdough bread, eggs cooked creamy and not overcooked, goat cheese, greens with a lite drizzle of oil and vinaigrette dressing and some yellow cherry tomatoes cooked till tender. My son had the salmon coconut curry that he's still talking about and my husband had a wood fire pizza that was crispy and served straight out of the oven. The vibes were calm and the seats are not too crowded. They have both booths with cushions- that a person with a herniated disc always appreciates, and single seats. The outside is probably better than the inside because it's really close quarters and i could hear all the conversations from the couples around me. But if you dont mind close proximity, it is probably fine. I started with the pisco passion: it was light, refreshing, fruity. It was perfect. I told my server i wanted something light and healthy with a little bit of carb and he suggested the chicken kebab--it was PERFECT. This place was a great experience! But before I document the wonder of it, I will document the big woe that earned them four stars, not five. One time, I was at Jiraffe, a restaurant in Santa Monica that offered table cloth Mondays. If I remember correctly, the point was for the restaurant to go casual and thus more affordable. I took my parents on that night. My parents both ordered a bouillabaisse. Our server had just cleared the same dish from another table. He approached my parents and made a joke, "here is the bouillabaisse" while he presented the dishes that held remnants, an odor that decayed from grand to bad, and a general sense of I can do this because I know you can understand this lower level of service. I resisted saying something, and I regret not saying anything because it was bad service that I took as a comment against our understanding of what actual good service is in practice and process. Today, as I was enjoying my meal, my server Lo, or her name was something akin, passed me, as she had plates from another table that she had just cleared and was delivering them to the back. She asked me what I thought of my food, and I turned to her. Met her in the eyes, and then my eyes went to the plates that she was holding. I had a flashback. I saw the dead plates being carried to their new home to be reincarnated, as I did when I was in Jiraffe. She checked on me as a task, as she completed another task. I felt the cringe of the moment, I felt the odor in my nose. The act took pleasure from my eating experience. I do not expect for fish and sharks to obey my mind as if I was Aquaman, but I do expect not to be offered service or support, as one carries dead plates to their place of re-awakening. She did come back later and offered brief and polite conversation, and this is where I told her how much I adored the salmon coconut curry bowl I ordered that had bok choy and black rice, chickpeas and sweet potatoes. I will say that the Salmon bowl was one of the best plates I had in a while, and in fact in my life span. It had the vibrancy of the lemon, it had the pleasure of the sweet potatoes, it had the satisfaction of a slab of salmon, it was a medley of lovely flavors, and colors, it did not hit the spot, it hit the moment. I would go back here again to enjoy the bowl again, and hopefully this time my experience is not interrupted by plates that are being carried and stopped to greet me. I also ordered a Latte and added some honey to it. The cup came and it had a lovely heart creation on its top. I stopped to admire the heart creation, and I felt a genuine smile come. It was nice, to admire something that took time to create. And when I did take time to create I saw the beauty in the cup, I felt the cuteness of the effort, I felt the joy in the simple act of observing. In other words, I stopped to enjoy a cup of coffee from foam to last sip. The restaurant describes itself as an Australian- California Coastal, hybrid. When I was there, I thought it gave Greek vibes, cause of all the white and beach-vibe glamour. I went in for brunch but was transported to eclectic elegance in shades of cream. It was like I had entered a grotto, and ended up in siren's dinning room. In this dining room the siren does not swim or slither, her tails has turned into legs that are now wearing pants that are loose, embroiled effortlessly, and are paired with sandals perfect for a walk in the sand, but cannot be used in the sand because of their price. I felt out of place because I did not wear white, or had a big sun hat, or used dude or mate routinely in my sentences. I felt like a visitor in the isle of white-sandy comfort, unlike Olivia Newton job, I did not enjoy a summer night, but rather a grand summer day.
