Undercooked hashbrowns
Natalie N.

It's a cute restaurant and the service was friendly if not attentive. For instance, we asked three times for coffee creamer and still never got it. We ordered strawberries for French toast and that didn't happen either. My drink was never filled. The food was all lackluster. The French toast was dry. The hashbrowns were nearly raw. It was overwhelmingly disappointing.

What a cute little cafe restaurant! We just missed breakfast but it looked fabulous! The lunch sandwiches were delicious and super big! My only issue is the fries weren't cooked all the way through and most were cold. But my focus was the sandwich. The waitress was nice and pleasant but didn't seem very knowledgeable on menu items when we asked questions. Overall I would go back and hopefully get breakfast!

Breakfast sandwich with tiny sausage super dry

I have to say I almost didn't eat it at all. Very disappointed. I always like to go to new places that aren't chain restaurants.. I got a breakfast sandwich with sausage, and the sausage was half the size of the sandwich. Can't even explain to you. How dry was, I even ordered mayonnaise just to try and get it down as for the hashbrowns well at least they weren't greasy, but they were blah blah..

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

My first impression was it is a quaint little restaurant with friendly staff. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich . It comes with hash browns. I didn't even touch the hash browns because the sandwich was more than enough. One egg on the sandwich would have been enough. Hubs ordered the basic 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and English muffin. He ate it all but said he should have gotten onions in the hash browns. We both had to use the restroom at Walmart afterwards but that could have been from anything. The sandwich was definitely great tasting and the service superb!

Went for breakfast, variety on the menu. Good food, in and out quickly. Thankfully it wasn't busy on a Sunday morning at 7:30am.

Pagosa Springs has just lowered its bar even further in the world of dining. This small town has…read morealways struggled because of lack of staffing and a fluctuating tourist economy. So to add yet another breakfast/lunch cafe to an already mediocre group was quite the gamble. Unfortunately, it looks like it will add one more to it's long history of failed eating establishments. So let's look at the facts: We entered the restaurant and found three tables seated. No one eating. Not too bad there were two waitresses. Also not too bad. And yet we sat and waited for service. We waited to order and still no one was eating while we waited. Three more tables came in and were seated. We finally got drinks but no silverware and a couple of menus. Same breakfast fare: eggs, bacon, hash-browns, toast etc. Nothing that every other Cafe doesn't already offer. However, their prices were higher. I did hear from someone that the pancakes were pretty good. So I got a typical eggs, sausage, hash, brown pancake combo. My partner got a veggie omelette. We waited and waited and waited some more. Still, no one was eating. We were about ready to leave and call it a day when the waitress brought our food. But she had to go back for silverware and condiments, which she hastily placed in a pile on the edge of the table. And we had to ask for a refill on our beverage. My husband asked for Tabasco sauce and it was brought out almost empty. Both servers had to come back and ask for the Tabasco sauce, three times to take it to other tables. There was one bottle for the entire restaurant! The pancake that I had heard good things about was burned, greasy and crumbly. It was so bad I couldn't eat it. So slow service, poor quality food, and disappointing menu led to an overall awful experience. Finally, the ambience: same picture of John Wayne and other cheap western art on the walls, same table arrangement with a bar, taking up most of the space. Suffice it to say there is no ambience. Why do we continue to beat ourselves over the head paying ridiculous prices for subpar food and crappy service? The reason: we always hope for the best and we're too damn lazy to fix our own breakfast. I should have learned.

Rustic vibe. Came here for breakfast. My husband loved the blueberry pancake, and I was happy with…read morethe corned beef hash. Hot breakfast from the kitchen! Freshly ground coffee too. A very good option for brunch in Pagosa Springs, and you don't have to wait in line (I think they just opened a month or two ago.)

I found the coffee to be decent and the sandwiches themselves were okay in terms of flavor, but the prices felt rather high for what we actually received. My main disappointment came after half a day of strenuous activities in the park when we finally opened the packaging to find teeny sandwiches with really small portion sizes. Even after eating them, we were still quite hungry, which was frustrating since we needed a filling meal to keep our energy up. While the quality of the food and drinks wasn't bad, the combination of high prices and tiny portions just didn't deliver the value we needed for a park day.

Loved how cute this shop was - it had so much character to enjoy. Thankful they opened so early at 7am so we were able to get some coffee. They had a great drink menu - from just coffee and espresso options to tea to blended drinks. Grabbed a Matcha and London Fog - not the best we've ever had, but still tasty and a good start to the morning. Also had nice breakfast options. Comfy seating options. We were able to grab a nice couch to sit and enjoy. They also had free Wi-fi and clean bathrooms. Street parking was easy to find. Overall, a good choice for your morning coffee!
