As far as flavor goes, I didn't think it could get any better than the Little Tokyo location. I got myself a bacon breakfast burrito and when I tell you that it knocks the socks out of the other Dulce location, it is an understatement. The flavor was on another level. The bacon, cheddar, scrambled eggs, pico de gallo were evenly distributed and the hot salsa on the side took it to the next level. The burrito was fresh and delicious. Coffee fix before Smorgasburg event!! Ordered an iced blueberry matcha latte with oat milk (extra $0.75 for oat milk) and it was amazing! We came in on a Monday morning to grab some quick brunch. We each got the breakfast burrito and shared a strawberry cream donut. The breakfast burrito was hefty and I couldn't finish it. I got mine with sausage instead of bacon and it was so good. The salsa that came with it was a little spicy, but had the perfect kick. For drinks, we got the iced Vietnamese coffee and the jasmine tea latte. The jasmine tea latte was sooo good. You can really taste the jasmine tea and it was lightly sweet--just the way I like it. Love it! Super cute cafe with pretty quick service. Small but novel selection of pastries, drinks, breakfast burritos, and salads that are on par with pricing for the area. Out of the green tea lattes the blueberry matcha and matcha lattes are sweet, the Cha Cha one is not. I really like the matcha latte and green tea roti that I had and my friends like the breakfast burrito and the steak burrito. The building is nondescript from the street and the area isn't great, but you can park in front of the cafe and it is kept clean. Also, they have no straws. read more

The Asian chicken salad is so fresh & it comes with a lot of chicken. My go to coffee is the dulce latte. It's always pretty busy so I usually call in to pick up. Big outdoor seating area, good place to hang out or even study. Good parking lot with other good restaurants around. read more

This place is okay. I wouldn't recommend it to a person that loves coffee. If you're not a big coffee drinker don't do it. You'll definitely be disappointed. This place looked inviting with the woodstyle indoor menu and glass walls so I had to check it out. Was warmly greeted and asked what was their most popular drink. They said the blueberry matcha latte so I went with that, iced. I also got a little dessert and tried the Mocha bun which looked like a rounded giant macaron. The blueberry matcha latte was pretty good and I definitely tasted the blueberry flavor. I also enjoyed the mocha bun, which I initially thought was mochi, with a nice mocha filling. They have a good variety of drinks and other dessert options so I'll probably return to try them out. read more

So, because I seem to always get shorted on my drink when I buy it iced, I asked for an iced latte with no ice. The girl told me that I would still be shorted and not compensated for the lack of ice. She said hot and iced are made the same way so it wouldn't be like she's giving me more. I'm confused. Does this happen everywhere? Update for the kale salad. TLDR - ask for dressing on the side for their salads! I always order the kale salad here. It comes already dressed with just the right amount of dressing (or at least it used to), so I never had to request for it on the side. I recently started to notice inconsistencies with the dressing, but never to the point where it was inedible. However, today my salad was SO OVERLY dressed that I could barely eat it. There were literally globs of the dressing at the bottom of the container. The dressing is pretty sweet so there was no way I could eat this salad. If I hadn't taken it to go, I definitely would have returned it. Since I had no other alternative for lunch, I ate what I could by dabbing off the dressing on a napkin. So sad :( read more

I came here on my lunch break, and it was my first time after hearing my coworkers raving about this place. I had heard of their Little Tokyo location before, and tried their pastries when someone brought them for potluck at work. Today I ordered the pesto sandwich, which they were generous with the avocado and the french baguette bread tasted fresh and perfectly crunchy. It also came with a side salad. I like this place because of the matcha and their food. Unfortunately I came today and asked for less ice and they cheaped out on my drink and didn't bother to fill it all the way. As it is I'm paying 6 dollars for a reg size so I'm expecting my cup to be filled up. I then had to ask the worker to add ice since they decided to not fill up my cup. Dulce has been a long-time favorite place of mine. I've been to all Dulce locations and I'm pretty biased towards the Row DTLA spot. But the Vernon one is actually the quietest out of all of them and the closest to where I work. I usually try to avoid the peak morning and lunch rush so that I don't have to wait too long. And just a warning that you'll probably be fighting for parking spots if you're here during the lunch rush. But what more can I say? Dulce never disappoints me. I never drink tea over coffee but I can't help but to get their blueberry matcha latte every time I go. Although the donut/pastry selection isn't as varied and regularly re-stocked as the other locations, I like that there's still a solid offering of all the classics. I do think the service could be a bit quicker but I noticed that it's not really anyone's fault -- they're understaffed a lot of the time. I highly recommend trying as many of their donuts as you can! Thankful that there's a location near my work so that I can continue to be a regular. :) read more

3/17/21 - First off let me say that I love this place and the dulce latte is a must try for any coffee lover! I'm a regular and will continue to come back! But.... this is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time I've come here when the guy and girl duo are working together and I just have to say that the Only bad thing about the place is that it might be understaffed the guy usually does little to no work while the poor girl is running around doing it all during a rush and there's a line out the door. Great place to go for bougie and "healthier" food on a budget. Pretty much everything I've tried has been really fresh and flavorful with the exception of a few of the gimmicky donuts. The salads, sandwiches and breakfast burrito are my go-tos. The strawberry jam donut is also good. I'd steer clear of the children cereal donuts. read more

YES Finally after months of being teased from when the first sign was released is Cafe Dulce in Vernon finally open. Everything tastes like it was made with care and love from their breakfast burritos to their green tea doughnuts. My favorite item here by far is their Blueberry muffin that apparently they only make here. The coffee could be a little bit stronger but nonetheless still very good and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly as well. This place does get busy during the lunch hours so be mindful of that. I like to come in during the off hours so I can grab my coffee and go. Great seating area outside shared with Jersey Mikes so this location is great to just grab some fresh air and get a good coffee before getting back into the craziness of the world. 5/5 will visit again. read more

If you work around this area you know there aren't many good options for lunch, so this place gets 5 stars from me! I ordered their pesto chicken sandwich and my sister ordered their kale salad. I also got their blueberry matcha latte to try along with some doughnuts to share between my sister and I. The sandwich comes with a baguette, but it wasn't ready yet so I settled for regular white bread. I was fine with this and even happy to know that they bake their baguettes fresh, I'll be back again to try it with the baguette! The blueberry matcha latte reminded me of a Vietnamese dessert I've had before, definitely unique. I've never been to a place that served this kind of flavor latte before! Fruity, creamy, and delicious! My sandwich was good but not amazing, it came with a salad and I was surprised at how fresh the ingredients were. My sisters kale salad was so good, I will be ordering that for sure the next time we go. I am not usually a fan of kale or salad, but it was so good that I prefer it over my sandwich. We ordered the oreo doughnut to share and it tasted like a regular doughnut and a hint of oreo from the crumbs on top.
