This place is so good. It's on the expensive side but you are most definitely getting your hard earned moneys worth. Everything is expertly sourced and fresh. The service is top notch. In my opinion this establishment is one of the best spot places to eat in Greenville. They have outside seating and there isn't a lot of that in town so take advantage of that here. My pan seared red snapper over their Niçoise Salad was amazing. I'll be coming back here from time to time. You must try it. Till next time....

Best restaurant in Greenville. Seriously everything we ordered was amazing 10/10 service, food, and ambiance. I love how the menu changes and the staff is so friendly. The manager came to our table multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. Can't recommend this place enough.

First time here at Cafe Duo, it was definitely one of their busiest day, Mother's Day. Our family had a reservation for a party of 17 and we were promptly seated in their outdoor patio. The manager quickly came and greeted our party. Took our order of drinks. There was a small menu for today, I will said it was well thought out. Love the custom touch. I order the Panino Rustica with a cup of the soup of the day; tomato bisque. I could say the soup was my favorite part of the whole meal. The entre was fresh but bland. There was not much magic happening there, the soup set such high expectation for the whole meal. The fries were cold and too greasy. I got to taste the Penne Allá Vodka the pasta was perfectly cook, I wished the sauce, chicken and pasta was simmered to be able to absorb the flavor of the vodka sauce. My history order a side of grits, they were really good more on the runny side but with lots of flavor. Lastly, I got a creme brûlée for dessert. It was definitely fresh, creme, top with the perfect amount of crispy goodness. I will love to go back another day, when it's not so busy and try their menu again. Special holidays can be hard on a small restaurant with large parties and extensive waitlists. The owner and waiters were great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at Cafe Duo.

This was a charming restaurant! I ordered the cheese burger and a Bloody Mary and both were yummy. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is because I ordered the burger medium and it came out rare. Practically still mooing but delicious nonetheless. The crispy fries that accompanied it more than made up for the burger temp. The bloody was subtle but not enough horseradish. Nit picky things but thought I'd share. Definitely still recommend!

I am giving 3 stars because the waitress could of been more attentive and like only way she came to the table is if we called her and my food had to be sent back because it was not done correctly at all. Steak was cold to the core both times and first time it was barely cooked when I asked for medium well. The salmon was good. I think that was the best item, but overall none of the food had a lot of flavor, which was very disappointing. Would I eat here again prob not just because the flavors were not up to par and the drinks were not good. My kids did enjoy the kids pasta and they had a second plate of that.

It just feels stagnant and uninspired. Nothing new, nothing seasonal, nothing exciting. If you've been once, you've basically seen it all. The food itself was bland and boring. Dishes lacked seasoning and creativity, and nothing stood out as memorable. For the prices they charge, you expect at least some depth of flavor, but everything felt flat. Service was also slow, even though it wasn't especially busy. We waited far too long for basic things, and the staff didn't seem particularly attentive or professional. There was a noticeable lack of urgency and overall polish. Overall, it feels like a place that hasn't evolved in years -- same menu, same energy, same issues. Unfortunately, it just doesn't live up to expectations.

We ended our amazing dinner sharing an incredible white chocolate bread pudding. The place is kitschy & cool, taking full advantage of a busy storefront display. The service was perfect, not too invasive or pushy, just the right amount of southern hospitality and menu knowledge (we got the steak sauce on the side and the amazing dessert as suggested!). We look forward to returning.

We ordered the trifecta (waffle, eggs, bacon), kids pancake (cc pancake, sausage, fruit, OJ), kids eggs and sausage and an extra side of fruit. It was delivered quick and everything (aside from that 1 sausage that looks slightly overcooked) was fresh and hot!! I'll start with the positive- that OJ was so fresh, I wish I had known how good it was going to be because I would've ordered 3 more!! The bacon was cooked perfectly, the pancake was huge, cooked well and had a great pancake/ choc chip ratio, the eggs were still soft and the waffle was soft and very tasty! Whatever the berry compote was that came with the waffle, was amazing!!! Seriously, so good. The downside- I can't review the fruit at all... because it was completely missing. The fruit side with the kids meal and the full extra fruit side i ordered were both absent. A bummer as our kids do love their fruit, but DoorDash made it right which I appreciate. Can't speak to service or atmosphere of the restaurant itself since we didn't dine in. Overall, this place was great, and we will 100% be eating it again! Knocking 1 star off just since the fruit to the kids meal and the extra side of it was missing, but I'll update my review next time we eat!

Think Waffle House energy, but local and without the franchise feel. You could tell people actually come there because they enjoy the food. Now as a coffee enthusiast, I'll be honest, the only hiccup for me was the coffee selection. It's straight black coffee only. Not a deal breaker, just don't walk in expecting a latte menu. I ordered the pork chop breakfast (and if you're judging pork... respectfully keep scrolling ). It came with grits, toast, and eggs. The pork chop was good, eggs were cooked right, toast hit the spot, and the grits just needed a little salt. Overall? It's not where you go for an aesthetic brunch with edible flowers and $18 pancakes. It's where you go when you want a GOOD breakfast that feels familiar, filling, and real. And honestly, there's something refreshing about that. Would definitely go back. Greenville needs places like this.
