At Cafe Georgetown, you're paying Georgetown prices, so the two items I got, the pudding and a strawberry matcha, totaled around $22 before tip. But you are getting a higher quality product. The pudding was worth the price, given its uniqueness and great taste. The matcha was great for its design, but the taste felt a little weak, so that's why I'd give it 4 stars, but I think it's worth buying once. There are many designs to choose from for the drinks, which also gives Cafe Georgetown a reason to visit.

Cute and potentially dog friendly, as a lady sat inside with a mid size dog (which makes me very hopeful I could bring my dog here too!) Now onto the space and the food/drinks. Their chia pudding is GOOD. It surprised me how good it was but honestly the banana matcha was average. The space itself isn't terribly large, there are a few seating options in the front but more in the back room. Ordering was easy enough with the cashier. All in all it worked out!

Cute cafe but incredibly overpriced and limited seating. If you want to go for instagram vibes and high prices this is your place. There are much better options close by in georgetown including better food and coffee w

After discovering this café on social media, we decided to stop by for an iced matcha latte. Although I frequently visit the area, I had never noticed this spot before. The café is located on a side street directly off Wisconsin Avenue in the bustling Georgetown area. Upon arriving, we walked up several steps to reach the entrance. The trendy social media posts had made the café appear much larger than it actually is. There are about four small tables in the nook to the right of the entrance, along with two café tables in front of the barista station and a small seating area containing two chairs across from the restroom. The coffee station is situated in the center of the space, surrounded by seating. At the far end of the shop, there is a bar area with some tables as well. The barista took our order for iced matcha lattes with a special foam design. The drink took a while to prepare, so we waited at one of the café tables. In addition to made to order cold and hot beverages, they offer bottled drinks and tempting treats. When our drinks were finally ready, the presentation was lovely. The rich, creamy foam was delightful, but the drink itself seemed to be lacking something. Perhaps it needed extra flavor or a touch of sweetener, as it fell short of our expectations. Despite its appealing appearance, the drink was nothing remarkable and certainly not worth the $20 we paid for both. Another noteworthy observation was the signage on the restroom door indicating that it was for employees only. It seems odd that a business focused on serving beverages would not provide restroom access to paying customers. I enjoy trying new places and experiences, so I'm glad we visited. The cafe is cute and conveniently located near shopping and restaurants.

That was definitely not matcha something else but it was nasty. Like when you mix it up it just turns white not sure if matcha is meant to look like that. Service is quite slow too and it's a small spot I guess just regular cafe sitting. They get good traction for aesthetic drinks but I personally will not be back on a hungry day or if i really want good bites

Ordered the daydream & mocha lattes. Both were good - liked the flavor of the daydream latte better plus the bonus cute latte art. No greeting when I walked in & just ordered on the machine (no one was in line before me), so not much customer service there. It did take a while to get our drinks, around 15-20 mins. Cutely decorated room in the back, past the barista bar. Several tables with umbrellas outside, where we chose to sit because it was nice out! PS: the pastries in the photos are from a different spot in Georgetown.

This cafe is a lot of fun! Like many others, I came here for their viral printed latte designs. The designs can be done for any latte (iced or hot) and you can choose from a set list of designs or upload your own to their website. The staff was helpful in explaining the process. We picked their cherry blossom design and uploaded one of our personal images to their website. It all came out great, perfect and very detailed. We ordered a hot decaf latte and an iced chai latte which both looked and tasted really good. They have seating inside near the front, outdoor seating, and more room in a back room. Besides coffee, they serve various desserts, pastries, and breakfast and lunch items. Of note, they have the popular Dubai chocolate available as a cake! You can order in person or use the kiosk. I recommend ordering in person if you want a printed latte. They do not have a public bathroom, it is for staff only.

Cute cafe with fun latte art. Super busy but extremely organized to upload a personal picture for latte art. Although the art is adorable, the actual lattes tasted burnt. Confirmed with my two cousins that it just wasn't mine - they didn't care for theirs either. I'm glad I came for a cute latte but wouldn't return. It's a come one time type of spot.

Best latte art! This small cafe is located in the heart of Georgetown and offers coffe drinks with fancy latte art and Turkish delight and baklava!! You can pick a unique art design for your hot drink or upload a custom image! The baristas were nice but be aware that the mine can get long in this tiny shop

Cool design! Not too packed and would recommend coming during peak hours! Tried the bagel as well and would recommend

Cafe Georgetown is super cute with friendly staff. It's small inside, but well-appointed, and also offers a few streetside tables. They do really amazing latte art and I always visit for the cherry blossom latte, which is as tasty as it is pretty. Cafe Georgetown has other fun latte flavors, though I've yet to try any. To eat, I've had their borek, which I love. It's delicious. I've also had the bakalva, which is good too. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some cocktails from their back bar.

The atmosphere was cozy and petite with a bustling staff. My friend came in for an iced coffee with a picture of her cat printed on it. She said the coffee was good and it was cool to see!

Stopped in because I was in the area and ordered an Istanbul Panini with Sujuk. The warm cheese and bread with just enough meat really hit the spot on a cold fall day. The service was fast for my friends who ordered a drink and pastry or bagel, but they only have one panini machine so the panini takes a bit longer. There is self-seating, but very limited and best suited for small parties. Ideally this is a place you would stop in for something to grab and go. There is a wide selection of drinks and pastries to try, so I would stop by here again if I were in the area.

The roasted carrot salad with hazelnut dukkah and garlic toum was one of those dishes that makes you rethink a vegetable entirely. The garlic knots had no business being that good... crispy, layered, almost croissant-like, deeply garlicky in the best way. For pasta we had the pappardelle with spicy roasted pork ragù and fennel breadcrumbs, and the canastra cheese ravioli with wild garlic pesto and brazil nut pangrattato, that stunning deep green dish topped with chive blossoms looked like art and tasted even better. The Cheeseburger Americain was a standard 3.5 out of 5 American cheeseburger that beats the average suburban chain restaurant burger with its double patty and sesame bun, but isn't gonna knock your socks off like a steakhouse burger. The poutine kept my socks on too (I was particularly excited about the poutine and ended up a tad underwhelmed). The biggest disappointment was the mozzarella sticks, which...... I'll just get to in the service part. Cocktails were mid. All interesting concepts, but most missed the mark. the Polar Express was a little too sweet, I forgot what the name of the riff on an old fashioned or Manhattan I had but that was okay, and the Fleur de Citron tasted like when you ask for a Sprite and they ask, "Is Sierra Mist (now Starry) okay?" and you reply, "yeah that's fine," but then what you get is actually a flat 7-Up. Skip to the Assessment/Plan if you don't want to read this novella retelling of our evening. Service - Relatively early for the dinner service, we were the largest and one of only a few tables in the restaurant. I counted 3 other tables seated (small parties of less than 4 each) and a few patrons at the bar. It took about 20 minutes before we first got our menus and the guy who handed them to us didn't say a word just dropped them off. Then it took another 20 minutes before he came back to get our drink orders, and 1) seemed like he was having a bad day, which... fine, but 2) was rolling his eyes when some of us were a little between some options and wanted a recommendation, which... alright my guy let's chill. We weren't talking loud, we weren't drinking before and being obnoxious, we just wanted to ask about what some of the drinks were like on a very cool menu of cocktails we haven't tried anywhere else. Upon returning with our drinks, he accidentally spilled a not insignificant amount on my friend sitting across from me, and while we reacted and started handing him extra napkins, he just glanced at him, finished giving out the drinks, and walked away. No "oops", "my bad", "oh let me get you some paper towels", nothing. So at this point, we're all staring at each other like "Did we do something? Do we smell?" Whatever, friend's birthday, we've been talking about this cabin weekend for several years and it's finally happening, let's just vibe. Now another 20 minutes went by and we were getting antsy because we wanted to order our food but it looked like there wasn't a lot of staff, and we didn't want to upset anyone by hurrying them. Another man came over who we thought was going to take our orders. Nope. He starts picking up our menus so I say, "Oh, hey we haven't ordered yet." To which he replies, "OK, but I need the menus." Alright cool, yeah, that makes sense if he needed them for other tables and can leave us with a few to share. Nope. He just took them and placed them back at the host stand. Awkward stares across the table again. Whatever, we had enough, I guess. Tick tock, tick tock. A third guy came over, and when he smiled and asked, "Hi are you all ready to order?" I was like "Oh finally a human being!" Food took another 20-ish minutes while we nursed our drinks and really had no interest in ordering another round (not that anyone asked us). We ate. We chatted. We had an okay time. We were super ready to get out of there. Oh right, the mozz sticks. Le Mont'zarella sticks. They had one order left of four sticks for $18. We were one of the first diners. You can imagine after all the above, that's just a major facepalm emoji. Assessment/Plan: Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for Le Mont Royal to improve their service, now and at the hour of ASAP, because the place has so much potential, and maybe it was just an off night, or the staff just finished arguing with each other in the back so they took it out on us, but dearly beloved Lord it was like we offended nine generations of their ancestry from the moment we walked in. With "a 22% service charge has been added for your convenience," I thought we were getting Punk'd. The always-changing French-Canadian menu is a cool and unique concept, but it's a lot of bark with very little bite. It didn't make the disappointing service worth it.
