This part of Moreno Valley pretty much has nothing in terms of food unless you're attending a family bbq or have a church selling tamales on Sunday. This is a hole in the wall mom & pop kind of spot in the back of a nondescript shopping center. (easy to miss at night) It's open until 9pm like most places in the area and has plenty of narrow parking spots out front. I ordered the shrimp fried rice to go and it came out to just under $10.50 with tax. The lady explained that they only provide free hot and soy sauce but House made kimchi is sold separately. thankfully the fried rice was flavorful to not need any more condiments. They provide lots of shrimp and rice unlike other places that dump tons of vegetables in their dishes to make it look more filling while skimping on the proteins read more

Easily one of the best places for a quick bite is Gossip Cafe. They have two locations in Moreno Valley but I prefer the Iris Location. This place is so consistent with the quality of food you get. I've tried a couple of different things here which has all been good but my go to is the Chicken and Beef plate with Ginger dressing on the salad, the Ginger dressing is key and it's homemade everyday. I'm not sure if this is technically Korean BBQ or Teriyaki, but if you like one or the other, this should float your boat. A nice selection of canned drinks and Boba.
