Located in a strip mall next to a laundromat. Plenty of parking. Came here right at 8 and they asked us to come back in 5 min as they were still opening up. Cash only, order at a window and seat yourself. No outdoor seating. Inside seating is kind of dingy but serviceable. Food came out fresh and hot. Tasted great. Huevos rancheros lived up to the hype. TL;DR - We loved their Mexican Breakfast plate and their breakfast burritos! This place does not have outdoor seating but it was very much worth it! We got the food to go and ate at Glass Beach. I ordered their Mexican breakfast which comes with beans (black or pinto refried), hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs with tons of goodies. I got the one with peppers and added chorizo. It was FREAKING DELICIOUS. Their burritos were super juicy and delicious as well. I recommend this place, it was so surprisingly delicious. I wish there was some sort of outdoor seating but it's in a parking lot heavy plaza. read more

Such an amazing breakfast place!!! To drink we ordered the hot chocolate and some coffee. We weren't too hungry, so we decided to get the huevos rancheros with chorizo and hash browns. The dish also came with tortillas, your choice of corn or flour, and retried beans your choice of black beans or pinto beans. There was some avocado as well on top of the huevos. The huevos rancheros were amazing! The chorizo was extremely tastv as were the refried beans, and the hash browns. Everything was so so good and I only wish I lived close to here. The staff was super friendly and were really helpful and patient. Also, the food came out pretty quickly. Really recommend to stop for an amazing breakfast or really any meal! read more

Food is on the heartier side so if you're looking for a light breakfast/brunch, this place will probably give you a food coma. Ordered the veggie omelette with hash browns and toast, and it was your average omelette. Absolutely delicious! We had the breakfast burrito with chorizo, wet style with red sauce, and huevos rancheros. Their chorizo is amazing, great texture, great flavor, and not too greasy. The beans were the star of the show though. So rich and creamy! Probably the best beans I've had in a long time. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Prices are fair ($3.75 for a smoothie, $8+ for chilaquiles), almond milk is available for smoothies and coffee drinks (including the Mexican Mocha), and the place has the old-school charm of a family-run Baja cafe. I tried to head to Mi Puebulito (it was closed) and used Yelp to try to find somewhere else to grab lunch on Saturday, and Cafe Jaavy was just the spot! I ordered the chilaquiles which you can get with red or green sauce, and it comes topped with grated queso, crema, and onions, with your choice of black of pinto beans and eggs on the side.
