    Jumbo burrito
    Lily R.

Every time I'm out of town I look for a breakfast burrito spot because it's a handheld breakfast on the go. This eatery is cute right by the skunk train entrance so it's perfect for a meal before you go. We were going to sea glass beach and stopped here before going because it's pretty close. we got the jumbo breakfast burrito, I think for one person it's plenty and it's perfect to share with one other person too. It was loaded didn't lack anything I think for almost 18 dollars we were expecting it to be a little bigger though . We added avocado for two dollars more. We tipped two dollars so for one burrito it was 24 dollars with a two dollar tip. My partner said it should have been a 15 dollar burrito with and 2 dollars more for avocado making it 17 lol I like the salsa and sour cream they give you on the side and my partner said it was enough to feel content, I agree. I would buy again

Laurel Deli is a solid 4. We go there frequently for lunch and the service is always fast and friendly, food is good and filling, and it's usually easy to get a table (unless it's tourist season of course), then you might have to wait a bit. Quick tip: You seat yourself, and then the waitperson will bring menus. Also, when they bring you the check, you take it to the counter to pay when you're ready. There's always a delicious lunch special running, my personal favorites are the chimichangas and the crispy chicken wrap! Definitely enough to share or to take half home for lunch the next day. I recently tried the French Dip sandwich which was pretty good. The meat was tender, not fatty or stringy like some cuts of beef can be, and the Au Jus dip was hot and delicious! The restaurant is also interesting due to the train inside! There's a lot of history to read about in the restaurant and around the whole building so take your time and look around!

Loved this place. Right next to the skunk train and its delivers the goods. There is a replica train inside and baseball memorabilia. The chili and clam chowder were excellent and the owner is a great guy. My only regret is that we didn't try it earlier or get a chance to go back. Two thumbs way up!

The perfect spot for getting a quick bite to eat when visiting the Skunk Train! We were doing both the rail bikes in the morning and the train ride in the afternoon with a short break in between, so Lauren Deli was the perfect spot to grab breakfast! The restaurant was probably about 60% full on a Sunday morning, so we were greeted and seated right away. My boyfriend and I split a Breakfast Burrito with bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, and hash browns and a Veggie Breakfast Burrito with bell pepper, mushroom, green onion, tomato, scrambled eggs, and cheese, and hash browns. Both were actually really good burritos! Bacon was nice and crispy, and it had lots of cheese inside. The veggie burrito had a good variety of colorful veggies. Sour cream and salsa also come on the side.

The restaurant is located inside a small marketplace building with lots of train decoration. We got couple items off of Yelp reviews recommendation: - clam chowder: tasty with good amount of clams for a cup size - California croissant: as other Yelp reviews mentioned, good amount of turkey slices, thick bacon and avocado pieces. The combination of all the ingredients inside a croissant just tasted very good. - Paul Bunyan burrito is average. The fried burrito seems like a packaged burrito. Chili on top is tasty. But we got kinda bored of it very quickly. The server was very kind and attentive, kept checking up on us to make sure we got every we needed and the food came out alright.

Eggs, bacon, hash, brown, muffin, and the meat special omelette.

This is locals restaurant, located just off the main street. The service was OK, and the food portions were generous. The menu lists 3 types of coffee to choose from, all priced at three dollars. If you don't specify which one you want, they will simply bring you the house blend, which is not as good as the Kona coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, which was not good. It had no body or flavor and way too much foam. I ordered eggs, bacon, English muffin and hashbrowns. My husband ordered their special omelette. The English muffin was the best thing on my plate; the eggs were OK, the bacon was very fatty, and the hashbrowns were so greasy, I couldn't eat them. My husband's meat special omelette had more meat than eggs, and the meat was simply between the egg as if it were a taco. Eat somewhere else.

GREAT breakfast with a side of fast & friendly service inside the Depot Mall & Museum sitting next to a train - counting me IN!! Laurel Deli and Desserts served up the PERFECT indoor breakfast on our recent April anniversary weekend getaway. Located next door to the Skunk Train the mystery of Laurel's being inside the Depot Mall & Museum didn't escape us...with exhibits to sit next to, hanging above and all about the mall you definitely can take in some history will you grab a bite to eat. We enjoyed their ahhmazing homemade cinnamon roll pre-breakfast meals - all warmed up with melted butter - OMTasty goodness!! absolutely TO DIE FOR!! Breakfast came out quick to order, yummilicious and exactly what we needed to tackle the day: Standard breakfast: over medium eggs, hash browns & a pile of bacon that was cooked to PERFECTION!! Depot Deluxe Omelet: piled high with bacon, avocado, green onion & cheese ~Yummmyyy!! Have to say this is a MUST and bookmarked for when we return to Fort Bragg...we even grabbed some cookies for our hike absolutely deLISH!! Look forward to popping in here again and again!!

After our Skunk Train adventure we were famished. I'm not too familiar with Fort Bragg and this place seemed open and ready to serve. What actually got me to come in was the sandwich I saw some one order. It looked amazing! We couldnt eat inside because we had our dog. That being said we ordered at the counter and waited outside. Eventually we took our lunch across the street to the museum grounds and had a great day. Our Sandwich of choice was the London Broiler with Potato Salad. I don't know how to explain this but the Mayo was incredible. The meat was excellent. All around a very delicious sandwich. Next time we will order a few different kinds because I'm sure all of the Sandwiches are good. The service was very fast and friendly. They seem very busy at all times. Id recommend getting your food to go and sitting outside. Its was worth it.

Visited Fort Bragg for the weekend and read a lot of reviews about the place. It's the perfect spot for before or after riding the "Skunk Train." It's located in a small shopping mall with clean bathrooms! We ordered a sandwich and salad to share- a turkey croissant with bacon, hold the sprouts. We decided that we should've added lettuce or something because it was lacking something without the sprouts. The croissant was toasted which was nice. The menu holds a lot of other American foods, more sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. I liked how I saw a lot of tourists and local people eating here. Would love to try this place again and try the pie.

    The cavernous cafe.

The cafe and deli is inside this huge barn like 'mall' space that's very quirky and seems created for tourists. The Skunk Train is located here so perhaps that's the purpose of its existence. Overall the cafe is clean, with lots of tables and a staff that seems to be on top of it. Oddly there are several counters with food and beverages so the layout is somewhat odd and confusing. There is table service with menus, so perhaps that's the key, but it doesn't seem clear. Since we only stopped for a snack we looked over the bakery items and I landed on what looked like a scrumptious Jalapeno Cheese Muffin, and it was excellent. Packed full of flavor I was delighted with the choice. The savory taste with a punch of spicy hot did hit the spot. With a cup of coffee I was quite satisfied.

$22.12 for a breakfast burrito. It's really not making sense anymore. Needless to say I have more dignity than to pay that.

Mediocre breakfast. Basic Bloody Mary. Great service in this small town restaurant. There was an odd smell to this establishment, like mold.

Are you looking for a great place to spoil your next meal with a delicious snackaroo?…read more I got you! The family had the pleasure of visiting Fort Bragg a couple of times this spring and the restaurants are good there, but Cowlick's Ice Cream is not to be missed! Everybody, but everybody is standing in line at Cowlick's Ice Cream, waiting to get some great one-of-a-kind ice cream flavors, floats, and toppings in downtown Fort Bragg. They have regular cones, sugar cones, waffle cones, and my favorite, chocolate dipped waffle cones! Ice creams can be adorned with with toppings galore and surely you will want to eat a nutritious meal, but may just go back for more ice cream! My personal favorite ice cream is the Hokey Pokey Honeycomb ice cream (on rotation, it is not available all the time). It is creamy and filled with honeycomb candy from a local Fort Bragg candy store! (Unfortunately for us, their the candy retail shop closed). The hubby and offspring went for and enjoyed the more traditional Rocky Road ice cream. Next trip I plan to try their ice cream sammys! The shop is clean and spacious, with plenty of places to sit inside and enjoy ice cream or shakes while watching the goings on in downtown Fort Bragg. I have never been there when there wasn't a wait to order, but it is well worth it! Locals and tourists alike can be consulted on flavor, cone or float choices. The clock is conveniently broken because when enjoying ice cream, who really cares about the time? So yeah, go spoil your next meal with some Cowlick's Ice Cream goodness! They won't disappoint! If you by chance get addicted to the ice cream, I found the local grocery stores carry pints to go! Lucky us!

Our favorites were: + Broiled oysters with bone marrow butter, Parmesan crema, and breadcrumb: although I'm not usually a huge fan of oysters, I did enjoy these particular ones! + Lemon cream pie with tangerine, lemon curd, brown butter graham, citrus marigold Chantilly: we split one slice of this pie, but I could've eaten a few more slices of the pie by myself (if my stomach had space left). Perfect ending to the meal. + Primavera panisse: crispy chickpea fritters topped with a variety of greens and flower petals. + Yuzu marigold kombucha (Wilder x Petite Percebes collaboration): this was a refreshing, lightly sweet complement to the heavier dishes of the meal. We also tried the cassoulet (which had roasted chicken thigh, Roundman's garlic sausage, pork belly, Heirloom beans - a heartier meaty dish); and the potato chowder with oyster mushrooms, spring greens, and wild nettle pistou (we loved the mushrooms in it).
