Been here a few times now. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. I've not had the sausage and pepper sandwich, the hatch green chile pizza and the chicken picatta (oh and the bruschetta appetizer). All 3 were on point. Cute little place with maybe 12 tables or so. This last time in Sunday July 5 2026 around 430 pm our server was fantastic. Had probably 8 tables and gave great service. Even if it would've been slower, who cares when it's one server and you're out to enjoy yourself and not rush. This place deserves a way higher rating than people give it. This place is terrific. This is a neighborhood cafe that really should be packed all the time and isn't. I had to peal the top off of the garlic knots to eat them as the bottoms were so burnt that I could not bit through them. The chicken dish was horrible as was the cake. Dined there last night. Have been there before and was not impressed. Deluxe Garlic Knotts just tasted like bread no Garlic Meatballs warm little flavor. Chicken Piccata was not very tasty to say the least. Had a pasty texture. And as in the past service was less than desirable. My Fiance ordered the Chicken Parm and thought it was very good however. I live close to this place and wish they would make good food but they consistently suck! Undercooked pizza. Consistently. Come on now it's not that hard! I ordered a calzone online, waited and went to pick it up. The receipt was at the register. The cook looked baffled when she asked for the calzone. I asked are you just throwing this in now? She lied, 'No, it will be ready soon.' After about 5 minutes she brings me this doughy mess that was clearly not even warm yet! I said, can you please cook this some more. After about another five minutes she shows me what looks like a mostly cooked calzone. I take it home and inside it is a soggy, doughy mess. It was okay. We went for brunch which was maybe our mistake. I haven't tried their pizza, so maybe they do that really well. Brunch was not a big hit. They kept bragging about their green chili, and I found it to be a bit sour. I got the Mob Boss frittata and it was over cooked and the tomato sauce was extremely watery so my frittata ended up swimming in tomato water by the first bite. The menu states all the ingredients for the frittata and then says served with roasted potatoes which I expected to be on the side with how it was worded. They were in the frittata. My daughter got the kids traditional breakfast and the bacon was over cooked and she asked for an egg over easy and got a plate full of scrambled eggs. When we asked for over easy eggs, they brought out a bowl of two eggs over easy by swimming in a pool of truffle oil! We hate truffle oil! They never told us that was going to be poured on top, and even our server was confused why the cooks served it that way. It stunk up our table so we have our server remove it and my daughter never did her her eggs. Their bacon was also way over cooked. The type of bacon that was just under burnt and wouldn't snap, but rather crumble when you take a bite. Bacon should have a chew. My son had the breakfast burrito which was decent. Overall, I don't think we'd be back for brunch, but maybe for a slice someday. All the waitstaff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food also came out quickly. Their tables are way too small for a part of 4. It was hard to put all the food down without knocking into something. read more

Unfortunately one night I ordered take out and ordered the fried calamari and it was literally like a handful of calamari for the price of an entree ($16.95). I was so excited because I'm from NY and love a good fried calamari, but was pretty bummed. I also don't think fried calamari did well with takeout because it was soft rather than crisp. I haven't gone back or ordered there since. The wait staff has always been kind though, the restaurant is clean, and the chicken piccata is delicious! First time trying out Antonio's breakfast and it was great! In my belief you can not sacrifice quality for quantity and I was not not disappointed. Spinach omelette was fantastic with whole kalamata olives and the side of potatoes was seasoned to the point you did not need catsup. Good alternative to Bowles cafe which is next door. read more

My daughter brought home a family size order from Antonio's recently. I think it was Rigatoni Bolognese. It was really good. I would have it again. My "beef" is with the meatballs. They had no flavor and were very dry. It was like eating a giant ball of beef. If there was any seasoning, you couldn't taste it. No one in the family liked them. We ordered meatballs and garlic knots and my daughter ordered chicken fettuccine. The meatballs and knots came out first. The meatballs were so dry and smelled awful. We took one bite and couldn't continue eating them due to the smell. The garlic knots were also just rolls with Parmesan and melted cheese on them. No garlic, and they were so dry they crumbled when we separated them. My daughter's fettuccine had a fish smell. She didn't even try the chicken because it looked old. Had a gray tint to it. She had two bites and couldn't continue eating it. The sodas were flat. The whole place smelled like cleaner. Terrible experience. Will not be back. Went out for dinner the night before last and it was terrible! First off, it was quite busy with only ONE server and so that caused us to have to wait for a long time for drinks and dinner. I ordered an old fashion which was not good, I don't think the server knew how to make it correctly. Once we finally got our gnocchi dinners they were hardly edible. Service - Excellent. It wasn't super busy (perhaps 5 tables with diners), so I cannot say how service would be when there are more crowded, but our waiter was very attentive. Drinks were refilled without asking. Food came out hot. Friendly. Etc. Food - I wanted to like the food more - because the service was good - but in the end I can only give it an OK. Our garlic knots were basically dinner rolls brushed with garlic butter and cheese. Not nearly garlicy enough, and not really 'knots.' The pasta dishes tasted good, but were drowning the sauce. We all were all literally scraping the sauce to the side so we could eat the pasta. In the end, our impression was "good, but nothing stood out as being particularly excellent." We will likely go back and try other dishes to see if we perhaps just picked wrong - as I said, nothing was bad - but most of the food was about what you could easily make at home. Price - We paid about $40 a person, with tip, on average. Some people had alcohol and we shared a couple of starters. So, on the pricey side for an "Ok" restaurant. Conclusion - I know others who ate there are really enjoyed it (we went on a recommendation). My feeling is that it is good enough to keep on the 'will try again' list, but not someplace I am likely to go to regularly. read more
