We also ordered the rice paper salad, fresh paper roll-ups, and the adorable kitty paw waffles. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and reminded me of the snacks I grew up eating. It's not just another boba shop--they've done a great job bringing authentic Vietnamese flavors to Duluth. The staff was friendly, the space was clean and inviting, and it's a perfect place to catch up with friends or satisfy a craving for Vietnamese drinks and snacks. Nothing tasted particularly fresh, and even the dessert was underwhelming. I ordered a bingsu based on the menu photo, which looked like it came in a generous-sized bowl. Instead, it was served in a small Styrofoam cup. On top of that, almost everything that normally comes with bingsu, including the syrup and fruit; was an additional charge, which made it feel overpriced for what you receive. The first time we visited, we were looking for a late-night dessert spot after dinner. The photos online looked inviting, so we decided to give it a try. However, when we walked in, it was extremely hot inside. I felt like I was sitting in the streets of Vietnam. There were portable A/C units and fans running, so I'm assuming they were having air conditioning issues. We returned a second time, and thankfully the temperature was much more comfortable, so it seems that problem had been resolved. The café itself also felt a bit cluttered and not as clean as I expected, especially for a newer business. The restrooms were another letdown. I accidentally walked in on someone because the bathroom doors don't automatically lock behind you. There are signs reminding customers to lock the door, but it's easy to see how people would assume it since you have to use a code to enter. But because there's a code you have to use a second lock to manually lock the doors. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because they're open late, which is convenient since most other tea and dessert shops are closed by then. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks, desserts, and overall experience would not warrant need to come back. Only the reason we did was because nothing else is open late. Really wanted to like this place as a new late night hangout.
