    Thai milk tea with boba
    Nazia C.

My daughter was craving ramen, so we decided to stop by here after church. I ordered a large ramen and asked for 2 bowls for my kids to share. A large is $8.99 and doesn't come with any toppings, but that doesn't bother my kids anyhow! This time, I tried the boneless chicken in 2x spicy, and it was so good! I also ordered a mandu (dumplings) and jumbo shrimp to share with the table. The mandu is just okay. The shrimp is breaded and covered in sauce. This time, we also got to try the lollipop chicken and French fries. It was a lot of fried food for sure, so we definitely can't eat like this often!

I wish this place was closer to where I lived. Maybe that's not such a bad thing after all because I'd probably come here all the time! I came here with the intention of getting bubble tea but got bingsoo instead. If you haven't had bingsoo before, it's Korean shaved ice with fresh fruit, red beans, and some light condensed milk. It's the ultimate summer treat and it's best shared with friends! This one has some mochi, banana, strawberries, kiwi, red bean, and vanilla ice cream to top it all off. There are some booths and seating in the entrance here so you can enjoy your food, boba, or dessert. The vibe is pretty chill. I'm coming back for some food next time!

This was the second time I came here. The first time they didn't have all of the food items. Now, you can have dinner and dessert at the same place. They only have one kiosk to order from. Most of the time they were in the back. The people are actually very nice but their customer service skills could use some work. When I asked for extra spoons, I didn't receive any sarcastic or snide remarks. I ordered just an iced milk tea (Thai) with brown sugar jelly. The results are very decent, not the best. Price was fair. I had a sample of my partner's bingsoo. They come in two different sizes, the cup one is for one person. The other one can be shared between 2-3 people. Fresh ingredients and good ice cream. They have tables and booths for groups and couples. Ample seating. They also have some props for taking pictures with.

I've been looking around for a nice place to get boba and this place is pretty good. I ordered from the kiosk and that was very easy to do, but you can obviously order at the counter. The wait wasn't long. The drinks were delicious. The boba had a nice soft chew to it. The flavor combo would depend on my order, but my brown sugar and strawberry combo was great. You can taste both and it was balanced and not overwhelming. They also have Korean food so I'm hoping to come back to try it and update my review.

For the lollipop chicken wings. Best in Morton Grove! I was craving a smoothie. It led me to Koco Bowl. When I entered, I saw a sign that was familiar. The original place for lcw which I think spawned from gs. (Chicagoans would know my acronym.) was planning on franchising. I don't remember lcw flavors. Koco Bowl has good medium heat lollipop wings. Served at right temperature, crispiness, succulent. Right amount of sauce. Next time I will increase the spice level. Here is link to old business that sold lcw. https://yelp.to/OoF-GddKiM Dining area is clean and pleasant. Kpop music fills the air. Free Parking. 50% sweet mango sparkling drink good. I don't know how many carbs. 50% sweet avocado smooth good. I want this to be my goto place for comfort Korean food. Glad I stopped by.

Good spot to get bingsoo! They also have other korean foods, but we specifically came for dessert and tea. They had plenty of tea and bubble tea options also. The bingsoo was tasty with plenty of different toppings. Definitely a good size to share between two to three people as well.

Nice, attentive staff Great atmosphere, love the plushies Tea is not too sweet if you get 50% sweetness. Would recommend making a stop :) Word up.

Amazing food! The family there is so sweet and patient because I can never say the names of the foods I want . So thank you for that! Good food especially dine-in ramen yummy. Updated post: I went in around 8pm looking to get dinner, I couldn't order what I wanted online so I came in the store. I come in and I am told to order or the tablet. I still am unable to order what I want and the lady is refusing to even help me.

I came back and tried the mango smoothie with boba. I'm not sure if they use fruit or syrup, but I really liked it and would get it again! The women working there were very kind too.

Nice tea and good chewy boba. They have food also but I passed due to coming solely for the boba drink. Recommend.

Hefty price for bingsu. Around $15.50 with tax. Tasted decent but unsure if I'd return for it. The mochis were a little tough. The sweetness level was perfect though. They added a good amount of evaporated milk and it kept the shaved ice pretty flavored throughout. Hoping there will be other bingsu flavors added in the future!

I am admittedly not a big bubble tea person. I did like their Golden Black Milk tea with boba though. Wasn't too sweet and didn't have that "florally" taste that you can sometimes get. I love the tuna mayo nori rice ball. It's like the kind you get at the "con-bini" store. I wish I could find where they're from because they seem to be pre-packaged. I could eat these things every day. I got their bulgogi bento style dish too. The bulgogi was really good!! My easy over egg became just a cooked egg because it probably steamed cooked as I got it take out. Still was tasty.

Koco bowl is just an extension to the already popular and well visited Cafe Koco. All they did was move locations from the previous spot next to Pizza Hut down the strip mall to the location next to Xfinity previously occupied by Penn Station. Not only is there more dining space at this new location and drive up parking but it also has more food choices outside the small finger food choices offered at Cafe Koco. I really think this is the next evolution for the Koco establishment and mimicking it's location in Evanston. This comes at a perfect time of the year where Koco flourishes in the summertime. Can't wait to try all their food choices while continuing to enjoy their delicious fruit teas and boba.

Drinks are just as good as ever. May or may not have been here twice in the past week, could probably go again as it's quite literally the best boba place in the area hands down. I think my fave is the halo halo blended ice, a drinkable version of halo halo with boba and different jellies. Jeremy C nearly always gets the Peach Oolong tea (he prefers without the honey jelly). We've tried many different drinks and honestly never have had any complaints, you really can't go wrong with any of the drinks. I love that most of the drinks are customizable in terms of amount of ice and sweetness, but this varies between drinks as some you can only get at full sweetness, some go as low as 0%. The staff are super helpful and you can just ask. They also frequently have seasonal drinks so it's fun to see what's new. They have a bright white and clean interior with some tables and seating areas, super open and a decent place to kick back. Parking is typically pretty easy as they have a lot for the plaza. Depending on the direction you're going though getting in and out can get a little tough. But it's definitely worth it.

It was excellent at 50% sweet and ice. The floral notes of the tea came through, and the boba remained just soft and chewy enough to enjoy throughout the beverage. I love seeing how diverse their menu is, and I look forward to enjoying another beverage soon indoors to check out their decor!

Honestly if you're wanting a tea or a drink this place is great for that...but that's about it…read more I've been a number of times and really have had decent experiences and again would recommend the Nile's location for to-go drinks only. Everything else is sub par...the dan dan noodles may have been the worst I ever had. The noodles were over cooked and stuck together, there was hardly any toppings and it was not at all as it was described. We also got the "Chinese burger" honestly this was also not something I would ever get again. The "bun" situation was dry and had no flavor...also the pork had no flavor and was also dry...I can see why the girl behind was questioning if it was even on the menu still because clearly no one is ordering it and when a customer does they're surprised. Now what really put me off (aside from the surprise piece of aluminum foil found in our food) was the horrible customer service. While waiting for our drinks and food to come out all I hear is one of the employees behind the counter commenting on multiple items on our order. Is it really that hard to make a drink and add extra ice without questioning why you need to add extra ice if that's the special request? It's requested because maybe we like our drinks to not be luke warm and prefer them cold. Then to make comments and being surprised an item was ordered ("chinese" burger). It was on the menu it sounded interesting we wanted to try it...after hearing the reaction it honestly made me second guess placing the order. Then to top it off when the drinks were ready our name was called...I asked if the food would be coming later and the attitude I received back being told that it takes longer threw me off completely. Yes I asked if the food would be coming later but I was asking to ensure that they knew we also had a food order. The attitude implying that I didn't understand that it'll take a bit long was not necessary. Needless to say if we ever come back our orders will be ONLY for drinks, we will NOT be ordering food and I will hope to not have much of any interaction with the staff at this location. It will strictly be pick up & go. Hopefully your team takes some time to work on their customer service skills cause it's lacking.

It was delectably foamy and sweet. My only regret was that it was this particular flavor combination didn't come with an option for a larger size. It really hit the spot for a cold, foamy beverage with perfectly chewy boba. I also tried out their house special braised beef noodles. They were great, but I wish there were more vegetables and noodles. (This was just personal preference.) The beef was well braised, seasoned, and excellent. Patrons order from kiosks and pick up items from the front desk. It would have been nice to interact more with staff, but the system is definitely set up for efficiency. Parking is a shared plaza private lot with plenty of spots during the weekdays. Weekends can be hectic given the amount of businesses here. Worth a visit for sure!

Ranked number two at the time, it became an instant bookmark for me being that I absolutely love boba tea drinks. And honey, it was a must visit once I discovered the Oreo Shake which literally made my mouth salivate! Thanks to Ashley S, who shared a picture of it via yelp. I visited post getting off of work prior to driving towards Edens Expressway; its location sits not too far from downtown Skokie, an area that I frequent. I honestly feel like you have to be in search for Kandy Crush Melt because it sits off of Oakton St, yet on Kenton Ave. In my opinion, there needs to be some sort of signage off of Oakton Ave that would capture the interest of individuals driving along Oakton St. Even though I knew what I wanted to order before visiting, I took my time looking at the menu, just to confirm the items. And when I was ready, the employee took my order, and I ended up ordering the Oreo Shake as visited for. As I waited, I was given a free sample of Mini Pancake Bites which were freaking delicious! I finished every bit of what was given because I had not ever tasted anything as delicious as that Nutella syrup. Immediately after finishing off the Mini Pancake Bites, I began taking sips of the Oreo Shake which I must say looked wonderful! Eek! Brain freeze! Tehehe, these taste buds of mine were surged with that delicious Oreo taste as anticipated. From then on, every sip was a mouthful of joy as I drove, resulting in a slight grin that not even traffic on the Expressway could break, I kid you not. There was a point while driving along the Expressway that I questioned if I would be able to finish it off; thinking to myself that it was good that I ordered a medium size Oreo Shake rather than a large because that shake, good Lord; the medium was definitely enough. Being that I had a great experience, I would gladly order from Kandy Crush Melt again when in the Skokie area. For future orders, I can surely see myself ordering via yelp in order to make it an in-and-out visit while on the go for sure.
