My favorites things about this place is they serve tasty drinks, has a lovely relaxing ambience & is group & date friendly. My faves: 1. hojicha latte (seasonal) 5/5 stars 2. ube latte (seasonal) -5/5 stars 3. Taro Taro -5/5 stars 4. Takoyaki-lobster balls 5/5 stars 5. Sweet potato fries 4/5 stars 6. Kids love their popcorn chicken and fries 4.5/5 stars (I like to wish I can eat their Viet taro rice cake, hash brown nuggies & beef balls. ). A few things I've love about T% on Big Horn.. The ambience is so comfortable & relaxing. The lights are soft & pacifying, the acoustics are not super loud for my aging ears, even when it's packed with people. I love how conducive it is to conversation when im on dates or when I'm on 1-1 meetings or even with a group of 6 people. The chairs are padded, comfortable for my aging bones. Seating is from 2-6 seats. In the colder months there's heaters & chairs outside which is nice aesthetically, ambiencey & for that patio like feel. I love that they open relatively later than usual and most boba spots (10am-10pm, Mon-Sun). I can usually modify my drinks to low or no sugar, light ice, and modify my milks because I'm a modifying my drink type of gal. One super cute thing I love about T% is that will decorate for most holidays. I love the decor for Christmas which includes a huge tree, for Valentines a giant bear & heart & an interesting looking telephone, for Chinese New Year some dragon decor. The service is awesome. They answer all my questions, and even help me when I can't find stuff on their self order kiosk, which is also convenient to get my order in. The manager lady is sweet, has adorable style & she works alot, maybe that's why the spot is running so efficiently & smooth. Both very good - just like the other locations. I've ordered these drinks so many time that I have my preferences down! LOL. They have been very consistent with their drinks. Popcorn Chicken is a MUST order. Each pieces are cut to the perfect bite size. The chicken is tender with very savory seasoning and fried to perfection. I don't recommend the lobster balls. It's imitation lobster fish ball (the ones at hot pot) lightly battered and fried. I was too stubborn to listen to my son to skip it. Quick service. Nice space to work and hang out with friends. Finally able to have time to escape and enjoy hanging out at our favorite spot after work again. As usual, the place is popping and a full crowd. The tables were all taken and the staff was very accommodating asking us if we needed help with seating. They are always so observant and considerate. This review has been a long time coming. I've been frequenting this shop for years now and I've since put my whole family and some friends on it as well and everyone loves it! The all-around favorites are the mango pomelo and the Mango Tango (make sure to get it with jasmine tea and they also have a yogurt option if you like some extra tartness)! I think when mangoes are in season they also add fresh mango to the drinks which is a huge plus. I am also a huge milk tea fanatic and personally like my tea very strong without any hint of it being watery. My favorites are the Da Hong Pao and Osmanthus Oolong for extra floral freshness, both at 80% sweetness which is the perfect level imo for even a sweet tooth like me! Their boba is always cooked to the perfect chewiness and my only complaint is that I wish their milk teas had the option of coming in a larger size! They have plenty of seating for people as I seen several there hanging out and getting some work done. As you walk in, you see a kiosk where you place your order on drinks as well as food. The Christmas decor that was going on with the teddy bears were pretty cute as well! Very festive vibes from the moment you step in. We got the coconut matcha cloud from their normal menu as well as the ube matcha and banana crème brulee matcha from their pop up menu. Not many places have good coconut matchas in my opinion, which I feel like is based on their coconut water they use, but T%'s was actually really good! My second time visiting this boba place. First time was during grand opening and my drink was very disappointing (lychee flamingo was very watered down) so I didn't come back until recently! I ended up trying a different drink and I was very impressed with it! I ordered the osmanthus with fermented rice mochi and the quality of the tea was excellent and lived the subtle hint of fermented rice and mochi! Wished they had a larger size! I would definitely come again just for this drink! The other drinks such as the mango drink was ehh, not the best I've had. The taro drink here was very artificial, wouldn't order that again. The kind employee who made her drink offered to add sugar until it met my mom's expectations, in which it eventually did. The newest T% is finally in soft opening!! You can get 30% off your order this week until their grand opening on June 27th, then they'll be offering BOGO drinks and snacks all weekend. This is a good location for nearby schools but also just in general it's right in the middle of Elk Grove! T% is known for great quality and delicious drinks. Even though I live closer to the original one, I still wanted to check out this new one! This is the most spacious of all of them, tons of seating inside unlike the other Elk Grove and Midtown ones! It's modern and bright and very nicely decorated. Menu is pretty much the same as the other ones as well. They have drinks listed on the wall but there were way more options on the kiosk, so I guess the wall menu might be more focused on the most popular options. They also had plenty of snack options. I ordered the Osmanthus Tea with Fermented Rice Mochi. I haven't had this drink yet so I was interested in the mochi and wanted to try something new off of the menu. The cup is so cute! Love how they're all labeled with the type of tea already as well. The drink was so refreshing! The mochi itself was smooth and it has small bits of the rice also if you like the texture.
