Great bread, well toasted, an avocado (not surprising) and a topping of a delicious sweet/hot/crunchy sauce with some pignolis and other seeds. The range in textures was very appealing and the flavor was delicious on multiple levels. I also had a chai latte, the fragrance and spices in it were wonderful, but it was a little sweet for my taste, kind of like a dessert drink. But it was quite delicious. I had an amazing lunch at this awesome new addition to Haddonfield. I went with the mushroom toast and it exceeded my expectations!! A must try if you love mushrooms and truffle like myself! The thick sourdough they use for this toast was amazing as well - would definitely order again and again. But there are so many other things I want to try. What an experience, the good, the bad and the ugly. We got there, the three of us, at 9:45 am and got put on the list and we're told 15 minutes. I received a text message that I was on a wait list at 9:46am. We walked around the beautiful downtown Haddonfield and returned back at 10 and were told 15 to 20 more minutes, walked some more and returned at 10:20 and were told they were getting a table setup for us. I never received a text message on it so lucky we returned just in time. Excellent menu with good choices and the 3 of us ordered. We received our food at almost 11am and the food was delicious, and our server Meagan was excellent in providing perfect recommendations. We were thoroughly enjoying our food and ordered additional items while eating. So far a pretty good experience aside from the initial wait time. Now the bad: the hostess came to our table at 11:20ish to tell us the table limit is 90 minutes, I mentioned I hadn't received all our food yet and other food while still on table. I asked to speak to a manager, the manager didn't come. We received the rest of the food and received the check. Upon paying the check I requested our server to see if i can speak with the manager. Now the ugly: manager comes to our table and before anything, starts defending the 90 minutes statement made by the hostess. I was now upset and stated we hadn't even received all of our food, received the last of our food 10 mins ago, and the hostess approached us with the 90 min rule and the manager retaliated by pointing at our foods and saying this has been there for 25 minutes. She indirectly called me a liar however i gave her a chance and stated the first order has been however the last order of ours barely came in 10 minutes ago and asked her to check this with our server. She went to validate this and returns confirming i was right, still no apology. Manager even stated I looked at the check on the wrong table, I am now livid, still no apology from her and I am questioning her statements on all of it now and ask her what she was about to say, when I cut her off by questioning. She said "nothing" and still no apology at all. How arrogant can a manager be? My lower review is solely due to the poor behavior of the hostess and the arrogant horrible behavior of the manager, who needs to learn respect, and manners with customers. Only the 3 of us for breakfast and the bill was $89. I am not questioning the price, food was good excellent server, thanx Meagan, but the manager needs some serious coaching. I went on a Saturday around 12:15 for just a late brunch/lunch and was given an estimated 20 minute wait which is fine. I received a text at 12:25 that the table was ready. We sat down with the table still wet and waited an additional 20 minutes before we saw a server and after 10 more got our coffee but did not receive any water so we asked when we got our order taken. To reiterate, 30 minutes after sitting we didn't get any water and got our server switched. It took 40 minutes, being told thrice, asking twice, and getting our food before we got any water from someone who wasn't even our server. I'll admit the food was good. We got the chicken cutlet and jen's crespelle both with potatoes which were a tad too salty. They were busy but we saw everyone around us getting water and being frequently checked up on so we felt neglected until I started writing the review and I guess the server saw. read more

We sat in the front and sound level wasn't too noisy but you could hear the noise level rise the further you went towards the back. Cute new brunch spot in Haddonfield. Getting in on a weekend is nearly impossible, but we were able to be seated immediately as a party of four on a weekday. It's a larger space inside than it looks like outside, although the tables are much too close to one another. Folks sitting next to us were entirely too close even "forgetting" about COVID safety precautions. I get that they want to maximize seating to make more money, but not at the expense of guests' comfort and safety. We actually bumped elbows with the people next to us...that's how close some of the tables are to one another. The ambience is bright and cheery, but seats at the back have to contend with the loud kitchen right there. Overall, it's a nice, refreshing vibe and fits nicely with Haddonfield. They have outdoor seating too but not sure about decent heat lamps or if that closes down in the colder months. Good opportunity to offer warm, heated seating in a town that's surely lacking in dining al fresco options! Service was good; server was courteous and attentive. The food was very good! The omelet was cooked perfectly and the granola bowl is super fresh. Bacon was just right and even the juice felt fresh. Coffee was also good but there weren't many flavor options if you're used to coffee house selections--just the usual suspects. They'd be wise to offer a few seasonal latte flavors or allow folks to make their own custom drinks like some of their notable competitors. Overall, it's a new spot and working out the kinks. If I could ZERO stars I would. While I cannot tell you how the food is in this place, the service is abhorrent. We get there and ask for a table for 2 and are told it's an hour and half wait. We say that's fine and the hostess takes my phone number. When we return an hour and half later, they have no information for us and repeatedly asks our name and phone number. Then she gets the manager. The manager asks 3 more times for our name and phone number. Nothing is showing up. I ask, "Can you seat us?" She tells me you'll have to wait...with several empty tables and one party in front of us. We will NEVER give this place our money!!!
