Didn't look like much on the outside walking past it, but the ambience inside was super cute with a lot of pastel color themes and abstract geometric shapes. On a weekday late morning as a party of 3, we were seated right away at a table with the perfect amount of space, but it did get busier in the afternoon by the time we left. There were unique food options and combinations. I had the shakshuka, which was AMAZING. I was hesitant because it had lamb sausage and I'm not a big fan of sausage flavors, but it was subtle and went really well with the dish. I nearly finished my portion and was very satisfied. Friends had Jen's Crespelle - eggs and cheese in a crepe with strawberries on top. They were pleasantly surprised with how well the strawberries paired with the savory part of the dish. Probably best mushroom toast I've ever had! I was skeptical of this place because it is on the pricier side, but the portions were sizable and we had a great experience sitting outside. Our waitress recommended the mushroom toast cause there were a lot of things I was interested in, and I'm glad she did! Also got a side pancake and fennel sausage to try (both really tasty as well). I was so excited to finally try this place and it did not disappoint! I met a friend for brunch and luckily only had to wait about 20 minutes or so for a table (pro tip: you can't make reservations, so be sure to allow yourself some time to put your name down and check out the surrounding shops while you wait!). The decor of this spot is so up my alley - touches of boho and a little whimsy. It was tough to make a decision of what I wanted for brunch since the menu is chock full of mouth watering options, but I ended up going with a Lavender London Fog and the breakfast poutine. The servings were plenty and the food was tasty. I did feel like there was something missing in the poutine, it was lacking a little bit in flavor, but definitely enjoyable nonetheless. Visited on a Friday morning around 8:20am. Was seated very quickly. Went with a friend and sister in law to spend some girls time during breakfast. Staff was very nice and attentive. Love how family friendly it is, the space was cozy, not too big and not too small, felt so at ease while here, which I love that feeling early in the morning. Certainly not loud even though there were few families with children. They also have out door space for the really nice days. -my friend ordered the cheesesteak and egg sandwich with potatoes, she loved the the sandwich but not the potatoes due to the strong rosemary taste, they seem to used fresh rosemary which is a plus but fresh one has a stronger taste and not enjoyable to most people. I tasted the potatoes and it really did have a strong rosemary taste. -Sister in law went simple, she ordered blueberries pancakes and 2 over medium eggs which she enjoyed. In her own word "regular blueberries pancake, nothing special" -I ordered Cannoli French toast, substitute bananas for strawberries, chocolate chips, brioche bread, cannoli filling and a side of 2 over medium eggs. I was scared to try because of the sweet but surprisingly it was not sweet at all, I actually needed to use the maple Syrup to give it a sweet touch. It was huge and I couldn't finish the whole thing. Ate half. I was satisfied and enjoyed it. Certainly I had better French toast else where but this was not bad, I could order it again. I love that we wasn't rush to leave, they kept giving us water jars whenever ours was empty. At some point I was like guys we should leave since it started to get packed and I didn't want to keep holding the table when we were done eating. What a super cute place in an adorable little town! I stumbled upon Cafe Lift and I am so happy that I did. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area. Vibe: Michael and Jeniphur did a great job on the interior - casual, comfortable and chic. I loved being able to eat on the sidewalk outside. Service: Stef was great, super chill, very nice, helpful and attentive. Food: Loved the food. Had both the Mushroom Toast and Grain Bowl. The Mushroom Toast was my favorite - Poached eggs, toasted sourdough, roasted garlic aioli, mixed mushrooms, truffle oil, shaved pecorino, and crispy shallot. It was sooooooo good. I also enjoyed the Grain Bowl - Poached egg, faro, quinoa, corn, tomato, zucchini, chick peas, shishito peppers, greens, and curry vinaigrette. But I thought it was a little heavy on the Curry Vinaigrette. I also had the Iced Chai Latte, which was delicious and paired well with the Grain Bowl and Curry Vinaigrette. They had given us a 30 minute wait on a Saturday mid-morning but fit us in within about 15 minutes. I had the huevos rancheros (asked for vegetarian) and it was great! Other people in my party got shakshuka, mushroom toast, and breakfast burrito. We all had only good things to say! We shared the nutty monkey crespelle at the end and that was the perfect sweet but light dessert for us! I'm not sure I would've liked the nutty monkey crespelle as much as a main meal though. Our waitress, Charlotte was very informative and gave us delicious recommendations. I had the pistachio latte and my husband got the cold brew with maple brown sugar syrup. Both coffees were really delicious, strong and the perfect amount of sweetness for each of us. For food, we started with breakfast poutine for the table which was one of the best we have ever had- make sure to get it! Cafe lift is beautifully decorated and well-planned out. I've visited the one in Philly and just as I said that I'd never return to that one, it's most likely the same with Haddonfield. The food was nothing to be awestruck about especially for price. I was recommended by our server to get the Lavender London Fog tea, I did, and it was underwhelming. The BF and I both ordered an entree and side. My entree was the Crespelle, which was good but nothing to rave over. My side was a lemon ricotta pancake which was undercooked in the middle (no it was not the ricotta). He ordered the Poutine which was actually very tasty. For his side, the crab bisque which was pretty much severely over salted/seasoned tomato soup with crabmeat added. So would I return? Great coffee and Friendly staff. Every time I've gone there is at least a 25m wait. It's the only thing I don't like but it's because it's good. There is good amount of coffee and tea options. I get my basic B vanilla latte and love it. Not too sweet. I've had Cesar tostada salad. It was fresh and the dressing was so good and went well with the greens. I went back again just for the salad. I've also had the breakfast burrito which was underwhelming. It's missing something and could be better. I will definitely revisit to try other goodies on the menu. read more

Wonderful experience here this past weekend. I came for a girls brunch (total 5 adults and 1 child). We arrived at approximately 1230p and were quoted a 45 min wait. Our wait time was exact and we had a place to sit inside while we waited. Once seated the server was prompt and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried to many dishes and none disappointed! Highlights for me was the Shakshuka (packed with flavor and perfect for fall), Lemon Ricotta Pancake (not too sweet and not too lemony), and Pistachio Cortado. My friends had dishes such as the Avocado Toast, Breakfast Burrito, Eggs Florentine, Poutine Fries,and Butterscotch Apple French Toast. The only thing we didn't care for was the Lavender London Fog. This place is BYOB so we came with plenty of Prosecco and champagne in tow and they provided carafes (OJ, Grapefruit, Cranberry). For all of us girls the bill only came to about $40 each which I think was a steal considering how much we tried on the menu. Overall I would rate this place a 9/10 only downside is they don't do reservations. read more

Met a friend for lunch. Drink and food offerings are similar to other area brunch/lunch places in the area. For drinks, I had an iced tea and my friend had a flavored lemonade. The iced tea was a little weak-- my friend enjoyed her lemonade. For the entrees, I asked the server to choose between the Huevos Rancheros and the Tostada Caesar. He recommended the Caesar. My friend ordered the fried egg cheesesteak sandwich. However, the restaurant doesn't offer gluten-free rolls, so she asked for a tostada as a substitute. The food was good. Was it tops in the area? No, but it was a pleasant meal. I do think to up their game, more gluten-free options, as well as some additional sides, should be made available. Would I go back? Possibly, there are a lot of great lunch-brunch places around and I think Cafe Lift still needs a little bit of time to hit that top level. read more

Great bread, well toasted, an avocado (not surprising) and a topping of a delicious sweet/hot/crunchy sauce with some pignolis and other seeds. The range in textures was very appealing and the flavor was delicious on multiple levels. I also had a chai latte, the fragrance and spices in it were wonderful, but it was a little sweet for my taste, kind of like a dessert drink. But it was quite delicious.
