Cutest little gem in the Smyrna Market area! We have made it a tradition to either order 3rd Party Delivery or pickup almost every weekend! They have the best little breakfast sandwiches. We always enjoy the sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant (so yummy!) I also really enjoy their hot Chai Tea Lattes! (They are one of the few places that make them right) Went out this morning and decided to eat outside - met the owner for the first time and he was super nice! Staff were all using the proper precautions for keeping themselves, and their customers safe with gloves and masks. Go out of your way for this place! You won't be disappointed! read more

Ok so I've got a real serious bone to pick here. Let me start by saying this place has some seriously good sweet potato pancakes. Every time I tell people how good they are everyone always tells me they don't like sweet potato. I want all of you to collectively shut up and try these because they're really really good. The staff is made up of very nice 14 year old girls that try their hardest to make lattes. Unfortunately I don't think anyone who comes here has a frame of reference for what a proper latte looks/tastes like because I've had like 6 here and they definitely ain't it. I only complain because their yelp states best coffee in Atlanta which is deeply upsetting to me. For one, this ain't Atlanta, and for two Rev is right down the street and employs literal latte gods; But this place is the best coffee in Atlanta? Yeah ok. Let's talk positive; the Dutch coffee is good and unique. Their pancakes, as stated above, are amazing. The food in general is pretty good, other than the Sysco foods special McMicrowave bagged soups. Come for the pancakes and, hopefully, one day they'll train their staff properly on making coffee. This is one of those best kept secrets, type of place. I want to keep it to myself and never let this place go...but because I love this place, I want to share it to the world for them to enjoy. If you haven't read, this place offers coffee, wine and beer. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, ice cream and baked goods. The cafe is warm and welcoming, and always has a place to sit. The barista is so sweet. We had a little hiccup with fixing the Yelp check in code, but if you don't have Yelp downloaded on your phone, if you log in with 5 stars, you get the same percentage off your first order. The few times I've been here the barista has been very patient and she was just enjoyable to talk too. At first, I just thought it was a regular, good, cafe...but I was very charmed by the owner's father. Whenever we finished ordering and setting up to study, the father came by to deliver the food. He was precious. He offered to give us napkins and he said hi to everyone. But he was the most charming ever. I had to hold my heart, he was so cute. They really want to make sure that you are taken care of here. I've been here twice, but I've been studying both times. I felt like this is perfect. They play the "basic girl music", but I have no issues with it. You have the random Disney songs playing, you have the John Mayer and other songs that makes your 90's heart burst (or at least early 2000's). I did not need my headphones. It doesn't get too loud here. I didn't need to charge any of my technology, but I don't remember seeing many places to plug in my charger. So I'll keep an eye out for it next time. I really hope this place doesn't lose it's charm. It is just too adorable. I really love coming here, and it almost feels like home. The food is fantastic (which is why it almost feels like home...I can't cook). Their hot chocolate is great. I tried their mini cinnamon rolls, and they were yum. Second time coming here, a year later. Second bad review. The venue was absolutely disgusting. Garbage and stickiness all over the floor. The employees act like angsty teenagers. The kitchen area looks like it would absolutely fail a heath code visit. All five of our hot chocolates came out barely lukewarm, and did not taste great. I would have had them remake them all, but it took so long just to get these, even though there was no one else in line, that I didn't want to wait again. Very overpriced too. This location area is really cute, so I don't understand why so little effort is put into making it a nice place to visit. So much potential, but gross venue and mediocre food and customer service. I had to come here for a work meeting and I was pleasantly surprised by this cafe! The cafe has a very "personal" feel to it. The walls are decorated by, what I assume are, paintings from local artists. It's very spacious with an appropriate amount of seating. They have a great location in a square and parking seems okay. They offer coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, AND wine!!! I only got a caramel latte but I am determined to come back and try their other menu items. The caramel latte was great! Cafe Lucia is a small local coffee shop in Smyrna Village. Like most coffee shops, there's a casual seating area with sofas and chairs as well as an area with tables. The coffee is pretty average overall. The Black Forest Chiller I had was good but lacked any cherry flavor. There's also a really good selection of ice cream. Being new to the metro Atlanta area, we don't have a barometer for places to go. I've relied on Yelp and throw caution to the culinary gods. Went to Cafe Lucia Sunday morning for coffee and brunch. It wasn't very crowded, and the friendly ladies at the counter greeted us immediately. They were kind and helpful. My wife and I both had the Dutch (cold brew) coffee, which was awesome. My wife had a bagel sandwich that was tasty and I had the sweet potato pancakes, which were delicious! Despite my better judgment, I ate all of them, and now lay in a food coma as I type this. The place, while small, is also quaint, a bit funky and full of neat art and furniture. So glad we found this spot, and will most certainly return. read more

Wow, so I had to come back and update my review for Cafe Lucia Because honestly after coming here a few days in the row I have a new perspective, originally I gave them 5 stars but if I could give them 10 stars I would. It is really near uncanny how great the coffee is and how awesome the mood and candor of their team really is every single time. Hats off to the owners of cafe Lucia for hiring great baristas like Rachel, Rhianna, and Ailijah (Elijah?). Every single time I come they are super attentive to the order, exactly what you need, ready to help with any medical allergies and a few times we had kids with us and they were even super awesome with the kids. They also have wine, popular food, a great ambience for work or if you want to unwind. It doesn't get much better than this for a cafe + restaurant, highly recommend will definitely keep coming thank you all so much! read more

Went here for a nice brunch with my boyfriend but left disappointed. I paid over $45 for rude service, hair in my food, and food that in my opinion is not worth $45. I ordered the bigwhich with a side of hashbrowns. I found hair in my hashbrowns and the croissant was too small for the items in the bigwhich so it made it awkward to eat and hold. While I was sitting and waiting, there were bugs crawling up the wall. Because I know it's a small business, I didn't ask for my money back, I just threw the food in the trash. Ive been here several times and i've always had a pleasant experience. You sign up to be a VIP you can also get additional coupons. If you check in on Yelp you potential receive additional discounts on your purchase. Just make sure you check in before you have made a purchase! I made that mistake and had to hold on to the discount for my next visit. The location is excellent because its in a plaza with some shopping and other eateries. Its perfect place because they also have outside seating when its warm. The inside is large and roomy enough for lots of different people coming and going. They have wifi access (it will drop off at times no biggie though) and plenty of tables with close outlets that allow you to work or study for as long as you desire. There are TV's but I usually don't watch them. There are couches if you want to prop up and stay for awhile too. The food is bomb and fresh. I really liked the Turkey BLT and I had it served on a croissant and I couldn't even eat the whole thing. The coffee is awesome and I usually finish the whole cup and I never finish my coffee like that. The customer service is always on point and the staff are quick. I also like that they will bring your order to you (as long as they aren't too busy). Its those small things that make an experience even better. They help keep the store clean and make the place more intimate. read more
