Great place, we came to eat brunch and everything was delicious. We tried the Trio with Barbacoa, Menudo and Pozole, Nutella french toast, chilaquiles and quesabirrias. The service was great and delicious, we also came to celebrate my sisters birthday celebration and she tried the mimosa flight. Everything was great the music the ambiance was great.

My first experience in October was pleasant overall. I have mixed reviews depending on the dishes we tried. Drinks & Breakfast Items -The O.J. was fresh, but the portion was ridiculously small for the price. -Café de olla was decent, although our server accidentally brought regular coffee first -- not a big deal. -The Banana Split French Toast was my least favorite. The banana wasn't ripe or fried, and the bread was surprisingly stale, which is unusual for French toast. The vanilla ice cream, however, was delicious. Main Dishes -The menudo, pozole, and birria sampler was amazing. Each dish had an authentic, distinct flavor, the meat was tender, and the portion was perfect if you can't decide what to order. -The chilaquiles verdes were just okay -- we've had better -- but the portion was good and it comes with flap steak. Ambiance & Service Service was decent and the place was clean, but the décor felt mismatched for a Mexican restaurant. The faux greenery on the walls looks a bit silly, though it does make for good photos. The velvet booths are beautiful fabric-wise, but they're basic booths underneath. The menus are hard to read -- they're very busy and colorful, which makes them overwhelming and not particularly accessible for anyone who is visually impaired. There's a door connecting to Santa Rosa Plaza; it was unlocked on our first visit, but on our second visit it was locked during business hours, so we had to exit the mall and go around to the main entrance. Second Visit - Less Impressive This visit was just okay. -The carne asada was overcooked and tough, though the rest of the entrée was satisfactory. -I was really looking forward to the menudo, but it was a huge disappointment. The broth was thick, like the bottom of the pot, and slightly stinky. -The handmade tortillas were great, as always. -We also tried the California sushi roll (deep-fried). It was good, though oddly served without soy sauce. It comes with a deep-fried chile güero with Tajín -- my 5-year-old had no complaints. The restaurant wasn't busy, and the back section was closed because the floor had just been mopped. Unfortunately, the place smelled like dirty mop water, suggesting the mop or water wasn't clean. Overall I'd come back, but there are other restaurants in Santa Rosa with better service, better consistency, and a wider menu -- often at slightly lower prices and equally delicious.

My husband and I stopped by for brunch. The decor is super cute and chic. There were lots of staff and they were welcoming and answered questions about the menu. They had a multitude of flavors for their mimosa flights. The huevos were super tasty and the chilaquiles came with a massive amount of food. Go check this place out!

Went two times already. Once during breakfast and once at dinner! Both times we received great service from the staff, they were friendly and checked in on us frequently. Ambiance was really fun as we ordered the huge mimosa to share. It is a bit on a pricey side but nothing outrageous and within same price range to other local brunch spots near by.

Ah Huevo is such a cute little spot! We got a flight of mimosas and they were so yummy! Can't wait to come back!! Updated review: Waitress told us to leave a yelp review for a free mimosa, but came back 5-10 minutes later saying it was only a promo available during the first week they were open. Waitress charged us full price for a happy hour drink. We had to explain to her to give us another drink to compensate for the price difference - this was after waiting to get her managers approval to fix the charge?? Service was super slow even though there were only 2-3 tables. The wait was so long we considered leaving before they brought us the other drink because we were just over it at that point. I'm not interested in coming back.

Amazing service! TikTok brought us here and we're so glad it did! We were a bit hesitant to try this brunch spot because of some of the reviews on Yelp, but WOW ,we're so happy we gave it a shot. From the start, the service was organized and friendly. We were greeted at the podium by a young woman who kindly let us know they were busy and using a sign-up sheet to call parties back once their table was ready. Since the estimated wait was about an hour (but possibly shorter if other parties didn't show), we added our name and went to explore the nearby plaza shops while sipping on some coffee. To our surprise, we got a call about 30 minutes later that our table was ready much faster than expected! We were originally seated outside at one of the black umbrella tables, which were cute and comfy but a little warm. I asked a young woman inside (who was working on her laptop while managing the floor) if we could be moved inside. She was so accommodating and made it happen right away. Once seated indoors, our server Jessie was an absolute gem! She started us off with cold waters and gave us time to browse the menu. Everything looked amazing, but I went with the traditional breakfast , pancakes, sunny side up eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The presentation was adorable, and everything was cooked perfectly. The other two in our group ordered the chilaquiles with carne asada, sunny side up eggs, and potatoes , super flavorful and spicy (a bit too spicy for my partner, but still delicious). For drinks, we had two mimosa flights (so fun, all the flavors were great!) and an horchata, which was just the right amount of sweetness smooth and refreshing. The plates and cups are gorgeous too ,every little detail added to the experience. Though we were asked if we wanted dessert, we were way too full but definitely planning to try it next time. We also noticed a couple of birthday celebrations happening nearby huge mimosa glasses, happy vibes, and great energy. The staff (both servers and kitchen crew) were on top of everything and created such a fun environment. Fast service Worth the wait Delicious food & drinks Beautiful ambiance & perfect music Highly recommend checking this place out! Don't let the negative reviews stop you we had a fantastic time and can't wait to return

    Chicharone guacamole 10/10

It was my best friend and I's first time coming here and it won't be the last ! It was so modern and cute inside, definitely for a younger crowd. Our server was a young girl with black hair and glasses (didn't get her name) she was so sweet and always checked on us. We got the fried rice in a pineapple, the mocaljete, the chicharon guacamole, and the sampler platter with two mimosa flight. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! 9/10 and will be back. The only thing I would say is maybe mix up the music as it seems like a brunch spot that's Hispanic/asian mixed so if there was a bit more modern music it would have been a 10/10 experience because while drinking we really wanted to vibe out to something we knew. Great establishment!

This place is so cute! It's a new restaurant & it's my first time trying it out. Love the plates & cups & decor! My enchiladas were so good! They were a little spicy but not too spicy, just perfect! It came with a side of beans & rice. Service was great as well. They greet you as soon as you walk in! Highly recommend!

The food and beverages were delicious, quick service and help. Offered great suggestions. Our server Jonathan was amazing, he was super helpful, insightful, and kind! They also have the cutest cups and plates that your food and drinks come in! Would go back in a heartbeat!

The food was flavorful absolutely great wonderful atmosphere nice quick service, but I can't express enough The food had so much flavor! We will definitely be going back

Tried this brunch spot recently and had mixed feelings. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and everything was beautifully presented--definitely Instagram-worthy and looked very appetizing. However, the taste didn't quite live up to the appearance--I'd rate it about a 7/10 overall. Surprisingly, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet the wait time for food was unusually long. That, combined with pricing that didn't feel justified for the quality or experience, made it a bit disappointing. Lots of potential, but unfortunately, it didn't fully deliver.

We had also tried Grossman's Noshery & Bar from the same restaurant group and were happy with the food there. I also heard good things about their other restaurants, so it should not have been a surprise that we were also impressed with the food here. Food is served tapas style and honestly, all the dishes sound appetizing. On this visit, we tried a few dishes. I wish I came with a more empty stomach to try more things. We ordered their crispy maitake mushrooms, steamed local black cod, and grilled house-made lamb sausage. Everything was delicious! The crispy maitake mushrooms came with a fish sauce which gave a nice brightening note to eat with fried food. Lemon was also fried with them to help cut any grease, so overall this dish did not feel oily or heavy. The steamed local black cod's ginger scallion oil surprisingly paired very well with the black truffle pesto. It had an earthy flavor profile that was brightened by the ginger. The cod was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms soaked up all of that saucy goodness. I loved this dish! The grilled house-made lamb sausage was Thai inspired and you could definitely taste the spices in the sausage. I actually would've liked more of the tamarind BBQ sauce and basil salad on this dish to help counter the lamb's spiciness a bit, but I enjoyed the dish. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and came out quickly. The restaurant is housed in what looks like a historic house, so it was a very cozy environment. They have a patio where you could eat while enjoying nice weather. I would definitely come again if I'm in the area!

Our server was incredibly friendly, and the entire room shared the same warm, easygoing vibe. The small, speakeasy themed space was already packed at 5 PM, so reservations seem like a must. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and delicious, but the standout dishes were the beet salad and the shrimp & grits. The beet salad had a perfect mix of textures; chopped pistachios, tender beets, and crunchy radishes over a pillowy ricotta. I finished the salad wishing there was more. The shrimp & grits featured a potlikker sauce that absolutely lived up to the hype; it made the dish. I wish the shrimp & grits were served in a bowl rather than a shallow dish. I found myself chasing the sauce and polenta around the plate, trying not to push it over the edge. That said, if it were in a bowl, I might have just drank the sauce, so perhaps this is the restaurant's way of preserving a bit of dignity for its guests. Next time, I'm hoping to visit when oyster po' boys and fried green tomatoes are on the menu.

We didn't have a reservation, but lucked out with seats at the community table. Bonus: the other guests were super welcoming, which just added to the fun, communal feel. We hit happy hour, and wow--it's a good one. Tons of interesting bites and a solid drink lineup. I went with a whiskey sour, my friend had the ginger beer on draft (very refreshing), and we shared the prawns, Brussels sprouts, and creamy mac & cheese. Everything was seriously delicious. Shoutout to our server, Melanie--friendly, attentive, and totally on it, even with the place packed. A couple things to note: it does get loud, so maybe not your spot if you're after a quiet, intimate dinner. Also, the happy hour menu listed Brussels sprouts but didn't mention bacon--I'm vegetarian, so that was a bit of a surprise. (It is noted on the regular dinner menu, which I admittedly didn't check.) All in all, such a fun, lively spot. I'll definitely be back for more bites and cocktails.

It was incredibly painful with the voices of all the talking along with the music ringing in our ears. The conversations of people were amplified by the design of the facility to the point where they were competing with the fully amplified '90s band that I heard called joose. In addition, they appear to have no comprehension about how to actually create an appropriate acoustic management system. There are no damping systems, no soft surfaces, it's like they didn't even ask anybody who knows anything about anything about how to do acoustic design. It's entirely appearance based. We will never return here again for anything other than a cocktail or maybe a karaoke event. It was a waste of $20. Per person. We effectively paid $40 for a couple to be acoustically tortured for 2 hours.
