So this is a little cool hangout joint. Parking sucks but if you could find it not a bad place to hang out chill listen to people sing karaoke all around good time. Food is not bad your typical Filipino food. The sisig wasn't my favorite at all. In my opinion, it wasn't the typical sisig and was very chewy barely had any fat. I guess it was the healthy version. We had the Bulalo which was very good just needed some patis. The bisteak was very good as well. What made the night though was listening to people sing karaoke . I got to hand it to all those people who did it takes a lot of courage to sing in front of people that you don't know whether they're good or bad. They are all amazing. Had a good time. Will be back. Check this place out you might like it!

    There's some sangers in here

No private booths in sight. You can sing off key and nobody will notice. Everybody chops it up in here. Ordered chop suey and pork sisig. Chop suey was plentiful and crunchy. Sisig was outstanding!! Flavor, texture, portion, absolutely solid!! Capt John took care of us. Chill ambiance to come and display your inner American Idol.

Had a great time at Cafe Moda. The ambiance was fun and amazing. The place is energetic with the karaoke singing going on. Good for groups or solo. Service was great and attentive. The food and drinks were good.

Vibe: FridayNight Out adventure Premise: Open Karaoke & Dinner FYI: Dance music 11:30 pm-4 am Fri/Sat Food Type: Vietnamese Order: Spicy Wings & Rice Noodles Cost: $37 + Gratuity Time: ~7:30 pm ++Service ++Food --Automatic Gratuity added While in the area on a recent Friday night, I was pointed to this place by another local business. I arrived before the crowd (7:30 pm) and quickly grabbed a seat at the bar, where it's 1st come, 1st serve seating. Otherwise, the tables are by reservation a week in advance (I was told). There seemed to be one waiter for everyone, but he did a pretty good job. There were females who also appeared to be on the clock, however, flirting with male customers seemed to be their primary job. Lol. My order was placed (with assistance from waiter) and found to be wise choices. Food arrived rather quickly and was plentiful and delicious. Wings (10-12) were not overly spicy with a nice crunch. Noodle dish was large and tasted good. Most of the food was boxed for later because it was so plentiful. The entertainment was a female DJ playing bangers between customer karaoke performances. Although, I would have preferred more music and less repeat "offenders" on the mic. Lol. This place started filling up quickly around 8:30 pm and my seat was hijacked when I went outside for air. Upon my return, I checked out quickly since having nowhere to sit. I chose to tip my server well, since he did an excellent solo job. However, once home and wondering why my bill was so expensive, I noticed they had added an automatic gratuity of 17% to my bill "to be split among all wait staff." Therefore paying closer to 50% gratuity! Don't get me wrong. I truly believe in taking good care of waitstaff. However, tipping should be at MY discretion and for the staff that has serviced me. Not staff who "sit & look pretty" while my $3 Diet Coke became watered down then discarded when I walked away briefly. Opinion: Auto-gratuity gives no incentive for individual staff excellence in service and should clearly be marked on your bill, not a blurb on the printed receipt I had to ask for. Because I did have a good time, my return to this spot is pretty sure. However, next time I will order only drinks and see if the gratuity is the same. The gratuity thing is a personal preference (pet peeve) and is meant to inform, not dissuade you from checking this nice establishment out if you're local or in town.

I dont call myself a regular here, but ive been here a few times with friends & family! Food is good, songs are great! No problems here but...4 stars!! Notice to owner: 1 star*** Please invest some money and renovate the bathrooms!!! Door locks are broken and it smells like there is a sewage issue.. i guess when you are drunk and having too much fun you dont care who watches you while the bathroom stalls are open. But this is an important part of your business. Also please put hooks for womens purses! That is all! Thank you!!

This incredible bar is open 24 hours, making it an ideal refuge for weary explorers at nearly any hour. The live tiki band was fantastic and brought the entire place to life. The cocktail menu is enormous, resembling a map to dozens of forbidden islands, and every drink we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and fairly priced--especially by Las Vegas standards. The dark tiki décor is extraordinary. Every shadowy corner contains something new to discover, with waterfalls, carved idols, shrunken heads, animated figures, and wonderfully sinister details. The place has unmistakable Disney-inspired showmanship, including creations connected to longtime Disney artists, but with a darker and far more mischievous personality. The merchandise is also extremely cool. There are shirts, mugs, and other treasures worthy of carrying home--although I strongly advise checking each item for ancient inscriptions before placing it in your luggage. Unfortunately, I ignored this precaution. After several powerful cocktails, I raised my glass to one of the idols and foolishly challenged it to prove its power. The drums stopped. The torches flickered. Something ancient entered my body. I awoke the next morning clutching a tiki mug, speaking a language unknown to modern scholars, and demanding that my hotel room be decorated with bamboo. The god still speaks through me whenever I smell rum. It commands me to return. The Golden Tiki is one of the most entertaining and immersive bars in Las Vegas. Come for the incredible décor, live music, delicious drinks, and excellent merchandise--but drink respectfully, traveler. The idols are always watching. Five stars. The god demands it.

They had live music on Saturday nights that starts right at 10p. After we got our IDs checked, we walked in and were immediately overwhelmed. It was very loud, very busy, and looked like your typical dive bar, which was cool. There were no seats in the front of the bar, at the bar, or even the tables in the back. After ordering our pizza, we finally found seats to eat near the pool tables in the back. We ordered the Champagne & Reefer, which is their supreme pizza. We were hungry so this pizza hit the spot. To be completely honest, I think my friend and I did not enjoy this place because I think we were the youngest at this bar. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time and we were happy for them. We were slightly overwhelmed and felt like we needed a bar menu. More please, indeed…read more Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila is a taco shop and speakeasy in the massive and often cramped Center on Spring Mountain strip mall. It's closer to the Valley View end and can actually be easy to park at in the afternoon if you're going for happy hour as I did (available Monday all day, and 3-6pm on other days). I wasn't quite sure where to go so I asked an employee up front about doing happy hour drinks, and he showed me into a long hallway dressed up like a mining tunnel. At the far end was the door into the bar area, which was pretty empty mid-afternoon until some other parties joined me. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu a bit then placed my order. First out was my happy hour cocktail. I chose the Mas Dog 20/20 ($8.00 happy hour)), which sounded like a decent if very fruity gin cocktail and came out pretty sweet and very fruit-forward. Turns out it's inspired by something called MD 20/20, which sounds like malt liquor but for people who need it to be sweet. It was actually pretty decent to sip on but isn't the best match for what I ate, and I ended up squeezing limes into water. The food came out all at once. I really wanted to try the Elotes ($3.00 HH), a delicious creamed corn app topped with crushed Hot Cheetos. It's actually a really addictive dish and one of the most fun bites of the whole thing. I also tried one of each taco available on the current happy hour menu. The two Street Tacos ($3.00 HH) were both solid, with barbacoa serving as the more delicious beef option while the carnitas were actually not as dry as other versions I've had. The mild green salsa and somewhat more medium-ish smoky orange salsa were both great complements to both of these. I enjoyed these, and one of the other tacos, despite the stone cold tortillas they were served on. The two Signature Tacos ($4.00 HH) were a little more dichotomous. I loved the Muy Caliente with its al pastor, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, and Hot Cheetos crumbles. The Gringo, on the other hand, was as boring as or worse than the archetype of the white person taco, with no crispy shell or tomato to help with the monotony. Luckily, I had some lime and salsas to play with, so I wasn't bored to death. I enjoyed the speakeasy area. It wasn't too dim, especially at the bar, and the favorite weapon of the T's in Counter-Strike was on full display behind said bar. There was a mariachi-sounding song being played when I first got in, but they inexplicably moved on to what I later realized was a music video playlist from the top of the aughts, aka my formative years listening to top 40 / pop / hip hop. Quite the nostalgia trip, especially when I later found out that my bartender and the couple who also decided to sit at the bar were from my hometown. I would come back to Mas Por Favor for happy hour, maybe Taco Tuesday, and definitely some of the other interesting signature tacos on their regular menu. It may not be the most comprehensively awesome spot, but it's at least a pretty solid option for eats and drinks.
