Ive been coming here for over two years, at least twice a week since I work nearby. I should have hundreds of check-ins, but just never bothered until recently. Anyway, kabob plates and wraps are amazing, fresh, good sides, always satisfying. However stay away from the Phil cheesesteak since it's not steak at all, but cut up hamburger with no peppers or onions. Frankly, they shouldn't call it a Philly at all, just terrible attempt. Stay with salads, kabobs, wraps and falafel and you'll be happy! Bonus is the friendly staff. I have a couple of concerns or it would be 5 stars! There does not seem to be any consistency on food or service. Such a shame, as I LOVE their Lentil soup, chicken wraps and kabobs. It is very casual, so I am not expecting excellent service, but when the one cashier is in the back "chatting" with the cook and when you say "excuse me" and she says "just a minute" but keeps on with her conversation, it is a bit frustrating! I understand Spanish and trust me, when I say they were having a private discussion and NOT about business. The chicken was really over cooked to the point of almost not being able to eat it. This has happened 2 times out of the last 4 meals there. Went there for lunch on Thursday as I had a client to go see out in San Bernadino and it was EXCELLENT! What does that even mean? He then goes on and tries to make it seem like I just want my food for free. I told him I didnt ask for that and they offered it to me. The menu description paints a mental picture of it to be a healthy-sounding burger, but upon arrival, it was a pretty standard burger you'd expect from a suburban diner. I wish there was more of a Mediterranean pizzazz to it, or at least put field greens instead of shredded iceberg lettuce. It's described to come on a Whole Wheat Bun, but to my disappointment, it really seemed like a Big Mac sesame bun. Also sucks how they charge more for if you want feta cheese. LENTIL SOUP (5/5)- SOO "wtf?" good. Ordered this not knowing what to expect, but its a very savory (almost a lil too salty for me) tomato-based broth with plentiful not-too-mushy lentils. Very flavorful, very comforting. I'd buy a gallon of this to cuddle with in the winter time. THE UNFORTUNATE - I did find a short black hair in my burger. :( I've contacted them via their website to give them a heads-up about it but have yet to hear back. OVERALL - I'd definitely try this place again because their lunch prices are reasonable and Mediterranean food is my kryptonite! I also orders a side of hummus with pita bread...also AMAZING! The pita bread was fresh, warm and soft. A lot of "Mediterranean" restaurants use the cheap pita in a bag that is a day away from being stale.... Not this place!! The hummus was also very flavorful.
