I ended up ordering a small brown sugar milk tea with egg pudding and my friend had a mango matcha latte with crystal boba. (they were out of regular boba) We also ordered two of the candied fruit sticks and paid about $24 in total. We went inside to wait and the inside looked very dirty. The floors were sticky and we saw a dead bug by the window. There were no tables to sit at so we just stood there. The drinks were just meh as I've had way better milk teas at other places. I got a brown sugar milk tea, they said this one doesn't have caffeine in it, while pretty much all the other milk teas do because well it's tea. Not high caffeine content but I don't like to have caffeine later in the day. Great drink, you can get less sweetened if you want! The yogurt drinks look and sound amazing as well, will want to try! The sign above the store didn't match the name on Yelp, and the only indication that this was R&B Tea was a cheap flag fluttering out front like a garage sale ad. Clearly, someone bought the previous boba shop and decided, "Eh, let's just wing it." Outside, a young guy took our order--because apparently, the ordering kiosk was down. That's fine, but when there's a special running and boba isn't included unless you pay extra, it'd be nice if the human being replacing the machine actually told us that. Surprise charges don't exactly set the tone for a great experience. Inside? Chaos. No tables, no chairs, no air conditioning--just a sweaty crowd awkwardly standing around like it was a DMV waiting room. Based on old Yelp photos, the previous owners had seating. I guess they packed it all up and took it with them when they left. Respect. Now let's talk operations--or lack thereof. There were eight employees working on a Saturday and it still felt like Lord of the Flies behind the counter. Drinks were being made and then piled up by the register, where one overwhelmed girl tried calling out orders one by one. She had dozens of items--hot, cold, who knows what--and was giving out wrong drinks left and right. But the real kicker? We had a clear view of the back kitchen where someone scooped liquid from a plastic bucket... on the floor. Not kidding. They dipped a measuring cup in and poured it right into a drink. I'm not a health inspector, but I'm pretty sure that's not FDA-approved beverage service. We waited over 30 minutes for two drinks, with maybe six people ahead of us. And while the drinks themselves weren't awful, nothing about the process justified the wait--or the mild heat stroke. If they were charging $3 and nobody else was in line, maybe I'd swing by again. But unless this place brings in a real restaurant professional to restructure the operation and stop dipping drinks out of floor buckets, I don't see it lasting through the year. The customer service here is always friendly, prompt, place appears clean and well-kept, and the menu seems like it has something for everyone. After 2pm, the majority of their menu is also discounted (though be aware, each drink may end up $4-6 anyways depending on whether or not one opts to customize their drink with various toppings and fixings). They are also open much later than any other boba tea place around. Most places barely stay open until or past 8pm. This place continues to serve until 10pm. However, it is the inconsistency that makes me rate them at 3 vs a 4. I would order two drinks of the same size, and depending on the employee who makes the drink, one drink can be nothing but ice that lasts 3 sips while the other has 4 ice cubes and is barely cold. read more

Love R&B tea! We have great boba options in my part of the Valley, but if we're even remotely close to Central Phx, we have to stop and grab drinks at R&B. My sister introduced me to this location and their boba is always fresh and chewy. I love their drink selection and my kiddos love the yakult series (probiotics!). We recently tried their egg waffle and the creamed paired was delicious - a light, salted sweet cream. I got the jasmine milk tea with egg pudding at 50% sweet this time and it did not disappoint! The tea was light and creamy with a hint of sweetness, and the pudding was nice and soft. My husband loves the brown sugar milk tea and my kids had the strawberry yakult and lychee yakult. R&B is located in a big shopping center right off camelback and the I-17, making it easy to grab and go or take advantage of the plentiful parking if you want to sit and chill. They regularly have drink deals and also have a punch card for a free drink after 10 punches. The pricing is on par with most boba shops in the valley and the service has always been great for us. I love antea boba, I been going here for along time and it became an habit and a hobby, overall the workers are very nice and kind and always give you more drink rather than ice and actually give alt of boba, although there is this Asian girl that works there and she always touches her nose and never washes her hand and always gives tons of ice and never fills the drink up all the way with or without ice she always fills the cup not even halfway if you ever ask for no ice, she only gives about 10-12 boba pearls and doesn't really speak up and it's very hard to hear her sometimes, she also never really adds the discounts the boba shop gives me or if there's a sale going on, I have never spoken up on this since my social anxiety is always through the roof, it's just something I wish she could stop doing without me having to speak up about it, there are a lot of bad reviews about her too. read more

Huge rip off! Don't go here. We ordered two teas with salt foam. With a tip it was 17$. Between me and my wife we had four gulps of tea. The salt foam was almost nonexistent. I don't know how they got so much ice in the cup. There was no room for tea or salt foam. read more

We tasted nothing but powder or grainy textures each sip. The boba was good, but the blended drinks for some reason just aren't blended right. Just saw about this place on Facebook, and we took the family out to go try this place and after we this experience will definitely be back!!! Great drinks some of the best we have had from Boba Places in our area. We had the Hawaiian Fruit Tea, Brown Sugar Boba, Herbal Tea, and the Egg Waffles. Let me tell you this was one of the best things experiences we have had from many of the places we have tried. We love trying to explore different shops all around the area and when it came to the Hawaiian Fruit Tea and Egg Waffles, these are the best ones we have had. Milk Run used to be one of our favorites but this one blew them out of the water! The service from the staff is great with them wanting to have conversation, always ranking drinks for customers to try based on your preferences and very greeting since the moment you walk in. Also one of the nicest maintained and clean shops we have been to... very laid back with such a great environment with the chilled music and nice themed chairs! Great Flavors and Great Service! The milk tea is good. We come here a few times already, one time they forgot to add sweeteners to my milk tea so is just tea drink with tea bitterness. Have to ask the cashier about it and they say they forgot and offer to add the sweetener in. Another time, we order one hours before they close and was told they run out of boba.
