    Passion fruit green tea
    Emily P.

I got a matcha milk tea 6/10 And a passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba 9/10 2 drinks was $14, not out of the ordinary. I was satisfied. The family is running it themselves and they're nice people. I came right before closing time and they were still ready to make whatever we needed even with chairs on tables. :)

I came in at 730pm to get boba with a friend since I checked that they don't close til 9pm. I got a taro milk tea with regular boba at 25% sweetness and it was very average but a bit warm. We waited several minutes to place our order as the worker was making a few other drinks. We sat down and at 815pm the worker started turning customers away claiming that they were closed. They started wiping the floors and putting the chairs up so by 830pm we just decided to leave. I probably wouldn't bother to come back here if I wanted to enjoy my boba in the store.

This place has never been a disappointment. I love the taro boba here! Different from other boba spots they have a lot of food options here. You can get Pho, Nachos, Fried Rice, Tamales, or Enchiladas here. This place is all anime themed so eating in is very comfortable!

Boba Whaaat is finally open! Came in to try their milk teas & they did not disappoint! I was immediately greeted as I walked in & helped by the owner! We got the Okinawa milk tea (HIGHLY recommend) & their assam milk tea. Both were so good & definitely met my expectations. I am excited to come & try their food next time I come!! The owner of the nail salon next door (Central Nails) is also the owner of this boba shop! So happy to see a small business owner thrive & grow! Come by & support you will not regret it :)

It's a small cute place, staff was friendly. Both teas were a little too sweet for my taste. Good but we didn't finish them. They only have one size available which if you have small kids isn't great since they really can't finish a large drink. Also tried the fried rice without meat, it was good. Better the next day.

Dry clean place. The drink menu is great. Got latte with non dairy creamer and 50% sweetness. It was amazing. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating.

First impressions are everything and this boba shop made a great one! The passion fruit green tea had a pleasant flower note at the end of each sip. Tonight we sampled the egg rolls which were 3 for $5 and were accompanied by a yummy sauce! We also had an opportunity to try their beef pho which you can tell by the smell is made in house. Aside from being happy with all of the food and beverages we sampled and the fact the shop is clean and modern. We are thrilled that we have a boba/pho shop in close proximity! Historically we were driving across the valley for the items this shop offers and now it's right across the street! This is a great option for anyone looking for a quick boba fix in the Arcadia area.

taro milk tea "with extra taro" supposedly
    Anna C.

would not recommend taro milk tea. customer service was great. Cat was super sweet and very welcoming. I got taro milk, tea, which I have gotten many places one of my go to's out of a few favs usually. This tasted like sweet milk. I explained how I like my tea/flavor of the tea to be pretty strong apparently there was even an added scoop of taro with that being said I can only imagine imagine how it would of been with out any extra taro NOT a Fan. I am assuming based off of that that their tie tea would be just as sweet and not flavorful :(

Good place for a boba tea. Nice tea flavor, well-cooked boba, reasonable price. Options to adjust sweetness and ice. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

I think that was a bit rude to withhold just the one order. It made it a bit awkward at the table. A couple tables that ordered after us were still served before the last guy in our party. My food was fine. However, their bahn mi has a giant cucumber slice that ruined the sandwich a bit. We're used to cucumber slices instead of a whole cucumber spear in the sandwich, but I guess that is just personal preference. The plate I ordered is probably not popular (#64) since she had to re-check the menu when I ordered. All of it tasted fine, though. No one ever came to refill our water or check in if we needed anything else. I'll probably pass on this place next time there is an invite. Maybe I'll try the other Vietnamese spot down the street near Popeye's the next time I get a hankering for some Pho or Bahn Mi.

The food, flavor, service, cleanliness, and vibes were absolutely perfect!! Came on a Thursday evening, ordered plain pho and french fries for our 5&3YO both ate it up! While we looked at the menu, I couldn't decide what alcohol I wanted, spirit, beer, sake, wine, etc.. finally order sake bomb with Asahi and the bartender came over and let me sample one of the sours - just cause! I'm awesome! Thank you! Wish I had room to order! For dinner we did: - Filet Spring Roll - Chuck Norris Spring Roll - grandma Trans firecracker wings - Crispy Rice on sizzling plate with Filet My words cannot describe how amazingly delicious it all was. The spring rolls were equally filling, flavorful, refreshing, and savory! Flavor explosion! The firecracker wings drenched in the spicy sauce was so good, we kept dipping some of our kids fries in the sauce! Lastly the Crispy Rice dish with filet, WOW! A bite of that, with some broth on the side. I couldn't easily swear it's one of the most savory dishes I've had in AZ. What a hidden gem! On top of this, as a parent, it's always stressful eating outside of your own home with your kiddos, but the staff/owners were so accommodating, I felt comfortable and grateful! They were so nice and my 3Yo is wild, but they didn't make us feel bad and they continued to smile and even give him a high five as we left. The location is clean and vibey, and we were all comfortable the whole time. So glad this fam came FOB in 1981 and hope they continue to rock it because they deserve it! What a great location and so glad we went. Can't wait to go back.
