First off, it was served in a smaller plastic cup than what I'm used to getting elsewhere, which already felt off. When I started eating, most of the strawberries were plain, not sweet, and honestly pretty rough inside literally white and unripe. I politely asked for extra Nutella since there was barely any chocolate, and instead of being helpful, the staff member gave me an attitude. She microwaved a small cup of Nutella and charged me $2.16 for it. When I mentioned the lack of chocolate, she insisted it was "at the bottom," but I was showing her I could clearly see empty strawberries and the bottom of the cup. On a positive note, the Dubai chocolate crepe itself was actually really good. We went in to try this place today because of the Labor Day special they had. $9.99 for any crepe with a fruit and topping plus an iced coffee in any flavor they have. I thought that was a pretty good deal and a good little breakfast for my daughter and I. The place is small, but very cute and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Our order came out quickly and we both really enjoyed our Nutella crepe with strawberries along with our vanilla iced coffee. I have been driving past this spot for a long time when I come up Charleston Boulevard. At the end of my day around four I stopped in for the very first time and ordered both a savory and a sweet crêpe item from the menu. The people are very nice and the place looks clean. There are a few tables for sitting, and there are quite a few choices of combinations for the crêpes. As a person who makes my own crêpes, but sometimes does not want to go to the effort, I hope that handcrafted crêpes meet my expectations. My food came out pretty quickly. I had a chocolate with nuts type crêpe, and I had one that was a breakfast crêpe with ham and eggs. I took my food to go, and I only had to drive 2 miles to get home. Everything was hot, and the appearance of the crêpes was very nice with the drizzled chocolate on the one and the drizzled cheese on the breakfast. When I went to open the containers, I was unable to manage to eat the crêpe with only a fork. I tried the savory crêpe, and the quality of the ham was not what I expected. The ham was the same color as me and I am a white woman in my 70s so there's that. There seem to be some spinach or some thing in with the eggs. As a connoisseur of crêpes for a long time and a person who makes crêpes when I feel so inclined. I firmly believe that a crêpe should be pretty thin and pretty manageable with a fork. I turned to the sweet crêpe, which was so beautiful to look at and it was a company by a little chocolate rice type candy with filling, and I wanted to love it. I really wanted to love it. It was also thick and not a pleasure to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed the nuts the flavor of the chocolate, but the crêpe to me was a disaster. I saw a person go to the crêpe machine and makes these crêpes fresh so I am not saying that something was not fresh. It probably would take only one quarter to one third of the amount of dough used to reach the goal of a nice, thin, appealing crêpe. With the savory crêpe, also came the option of having chips or a salad. They do serve a little salad in a cup to accompany the meal. The salad itself looked OK, but it was not something that called out to me to eat it. After my experience with the thick and chewy crêpes, I pretty much had made my decision that someone really needs resist the enthusiasm to throw more dough on that crêpe maker. I have no idea if everyone else has this experience with the crêpes, but it would not take much to train an individual to make a thinner crêpe. The quality of ingredients in the savory crêpe would not make me return for this particular item. If I could be promised a thin crêpe with the creation of the sweet chocolatey nutty crêpe I had, I might be induced to return. However, as we have a multitude of places known for their crêpes, this is unlikely. My two stars are for attentive staff and fairly quick service. Maybe this business started out with decent crêpes that were thin and collectible in the past, but there's no evidence of that now and ingredients are subpar inside the savory breakfast crêpe. This makes me sad because the possibility of being able to serve the community with decent crêpes and quick meals is right there in front of you, but I have absolutely no idea how an establishment could get so much business as to afford to have a store on Charleston in this Busy area for so long. read more

More like 3.5 Stars...Went here with the hubby and ordered. Service was a little slow for a crepe and sandwich but they were very nice. Probably better to call ahead or eat in.... both of which we did not do!! These 3.5 stars are based on the taste of the food. It was very fresh but the quality of the meats were basic. I ordered the club sandwich which came with everything but the quality wasnt there. Especially the bacon! Now I don't eat pancakes because they are so submissive... so crepes are completely of the table!! My husband enjoyed his spinach and salami crepe and it was piping hot. Crepe Station was such an amazing experience and something I couldn't be much more proud that I found this place. When we walked in, we were both stumped on the whole process but we soon figured it out as the menu was simple and straightforward. My friend and I both opted to share the caramel crepe with 2 fruits on it, Strawberry and Mango. When the crepe came out we didn't know at first since we weren't paying any attention to the guy calling out our name. The guy in my opinion could've speak louder or there should be a bell they ring every time a crepe came out but it's whatever at this point. When we tried the crepe, it didn't disappoint us at all. The caramel sauce at first I was iffy on but it turned out to be amazing and tasted well with the crepe. The fruits tasted fresh like the fruits were cut the same day. The strawberry was a bit sour but that's to be expected but it was mainly sweet and the mango tasted amazing and sweet with the caramel drizzle, it ended up making the crepe so much better. The only downside to this is that the parking is very tough and it took me about 10 minutes to find parking but that's not something I can put on the business, and the workers are kinda forgetful, especially when we asked for water cups and they forgot so I had to ask again. But then again, everyone makes mistakes and it wasn't a big deal at all honestly. I will make sure to recommend this dessert place to my friends and for sure come back anytime i'm in this area!! read more
