Miso Salmon Rice Bowl, and K-BBQ Rice Bowl
    Grace W.

We are so happy to found this place during our hiking trip in Catskills. Hubby and I came in for lunch, its causal setting and very inviting inside with decent food and beverages. The servers are very friendly and food came out pretty quickly. We got the Miso Salmon Rice Bowl, and K-BBQ Rice Bowl which was delicious. I love my Iced Blueberry Matcha and the Pecan Carrot Cake is also pretty good, moist and not so sweet.

Great food and great relaxed vibes. Loved the salmon with rice and kimchi. Banana bread with chocolate chips was served warm and very good. The drink was very pretty. Love the gifts available for sale. Service was friendly

We are on a week vacation currently and this cafe is now our go to. The service is great and the food is even better! Needless to say if I lived here I would go broke. Definitely give this place a try. 10/10

I love this place. The old farm house on Route 28 used to be an antique store and before that it was a private residence. I know it well. To see it transformed into a charming family-owned Korean restaurant is remarkable. It was surreal to be sitting inside eating a bulgogi rice bowl with kimchi for lunch in Arkville. I mentioned to the business owner, Christina, that I'm diabetic. I can't have sweet seasoned coffees. She said she's take care of it. My fabulous latte was made to order: a pumpkin spice soy latte. Thanks so much. Likewise, my meal was made to order. So don't expect to be served in a hurry. The staff provides service with a smile but it takes many minutes to make it right. The K-BBQ Beef bulgogi is delicious and authentic. My friend ordered gim bap (like giant sushi) which looked great. An hour and a half from the Capital Region, this breakfast and lunch restaurant is a destination. The exterior has been painted white. The completely renovated interior is bright, clean and cheerful. My friend remarked that even the bathrooms looked beautiful. She is right. The market is filled with fun gifts. Many of the items are cute Korean products. I look forward to coming back for more awesome meals.

First time I went here, I knew I would be back and bringing friends again and again. Food is terrific, the staff was wonderful. There was lots of seating, and a space for my littles to play while I finished my food. An absolute must if you are able to enter and indulge!

I tried this wonderful brunch place today for the first time! I was so pleasantly surprised with my Korean barbecue rice bowl. It was delicious and included a side salad and some kimchi. Full transparency here, I recently came back from a trip to Japan and Korea. So when I tell you that this Korean barbecue taste like Korean barbecue that I had in Korea, it's true! I really enjoyed my lunch and the atmosphere and vibe. It was a plus at three of our students from Margaretville Central School work there and the owner was super friendly and kind. The service is great, the food is just as great, and the vibe is awesome. I highly recommend this reasonably priced place for lunch or brunch. I also highly recommend the tangerine tea. Delightful!

I regret not taking better photos, but at least I got a quick shot of the delightful cake. It was all absurdly good. I can't get over how fluffy the frosting is and how perfect the cookie textures are. The woman working was also really nice and, despite it being the end of the day, I didn't feel at all rushed or like she just wanted to close up. Here's how much we loved it: My husband and I went there yesterday while on a weekend trip. Today, we had to get back home fast to beat the snowstorm, and we seriously considered just risking it and driving out of our way to go back here. We didn't (safety first, etc) but we've decided to order our wedding cake from this place *and* our wedding favors. Seriously, everyone should go to this place. Everyone deserves this magic in their lives!

The property is decorated with twinkling fairy lights, an old truck, and a rustic barn that are good backdrops for a picture or two. The staff was incredibly nice and knows their products really well. They brought our group bottles of all the ciders and took the time to explain each one to us. The honey cider was the group favorite, but I personally preferred the one with beet in it. They told us it was a controversial flavor that people love or hate, and I understand why. It has such a unique, earthy flavor. Outside, there's some fun activities , including ping pong, a fire pit, and Cornhole. It's a great spot to relax with your friends, sip some refreshing local cider, and enjoy the outdoor view.

Situated on the outer edge of the Catskills, it feels like Andes is just being discovered by visitors. To wit, at the cidery, I heard a Brit (conversing in English) with two Slavic speakers, one of whom was responding solely in his native language. Over there, two youngish guys were discussing bodybuilding form, which led to one of them dropping to the gravel to demonstrate his one armed pushups. And that was just the crowd... I sampled two ciders; everything is available on tap, plus guest taps of craft beer. The first (Catskill, I think?) was semi-dry. I usually lean towards drier varietals, but this really hit the spot after a long tour through the Southern Tier. "Wild" is just what the name says: foraged apples, never twice the same flavor profile year to year. Absolutely outstanding, so a bottle came home with me. A local in line ahead of me said their kitchen was slow, so I didn't attempt food. Really nice location, old coal yard or some such, very vibey, and pleasantly situated in a cute little town. The servers were super nice and engaged, which is always a treat.
