My family was in town while driving across country. Discovered this place late in the afternoon…read moreand we grabbed a ton of pastries for the end-of-day prices of about $2 each. My kids loved the cookies and the cruffin. Adults got the cinnamon buns - which was great to have one without the icing and it was still decadent! Service was friendly and personable. I'd almost go to Cleveland again just to get more pastries from Leavened!

I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

This is a sweet place where you can adopt cats, or just visit with them. I just visited during my…read morestay in Tremont. I made an appointment on their site and paid the $9 for 30 min. on Monday morning. The staff is so nice and give you info on all the cats, like names and personalities. They have comfortable seating and lots of toys so you can play with the kitties. I loved all the cat accessories including the nap spots in the window, and the climbing opportunities. I recommend a visit. They also sell coffee.

Book ahead before visiting the cat cafe area. Otherwise you will have to just watch them through the glass. Reservations are highly recommended and easy to do. When we visited, they had several new arrivals from the shelter. While some were still shy and adjusting, others were incredibly friendly. We fell in love with Milo, who reminded us so much of our own cat back home! The space is well planned. The layout is great. There's plenty of vertical space for the cats to roam and various seating options for humans as well to relax in the company of the cats. After our cat session, we grabbed an affogato. They use Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream, which is a local hero and made the drink so good! Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend supporting this spot.

The games are very well organized, and there's even a suggestions list on the wall. Not to leave out, the lights and art make for a fantasy cottage core immersive space. I love shrooms! But obvi, The main reason to come here is for the games. You want cat games? They got purrfect choices! Pandas? Uh-huh that have it! Racoons? You bandit believe it! Wanna watch your friends meeples get eaten by sharks? You can hear with Survior Island! Parks and Trails? Have no fear... they got it here! Criminal games? Allegedly they have them ;) They have so many, that it was overwhelming to choose. Prices are fair, with about a $5 fee/gamer, with set times of 3 hours max typically. I'm sure if it was empty and if they didn't have other resi's or a waitlist, you could hang longer, especially if you have an extra $5 or something... Weekends, espeically in the winter, will be more crowded so be aware if others make you nervous. I personally get nervous about gaming when others are around. My brain shuts down and I loose critical thinking skills necessary to win. And winning is life. Onward, the food was meh. I ordered the cheese flatbread 'Za, hoping to channel my inner teenage mutant ninja turtle and smash my fellow turtle completion. But the pizza was bland. It was like pita with cheese on. I'd say, go somewhere else and get food, and go here for the games and dranks. The latte was delicious, and I actually ordered a second. It was just the extra sweetness & energy boost I needed to crush my competition. You already know I like to check out the restrooms. They had two gender neutral large accessible restrooms, from what I discovered on my exploration, and they were clean, with adequate lighting and finishes. Parking is scattered across the street, but there's the large westside market lot available. With Mitchell's Icecream (yes the train was working at this one last time I went), Ohio City Burrito, and a plethora of options, you can't go wrong! Now, back to the games - I will say, some of the games are very advanced and will require extensive set up and knowledge on how to play. If there's game you're interested in playing, and you have little knowledge, I recommend looking up the rules first and checking out tutorial vids. Otherwise, you'll waste a lot of time figuring out the logistics. If you wanna go from bored to board games, I recommend this place!
