The tried and true cheesecake croffle is the best imo. The Nutella croffle is also good with the bananas. Croffles do take more time so be patient or order ahead. The blue spade drink always hits. Tried the bulgogi kimbap and it was well prepared and flavorful. The popcorn chicken is not the best but the sauce makes it better. Service is very friendly.
I'm an OC Native and had grown around this cafe. Oddly enough, today was my first time trying it and am filled with regret that I haven't tried it before! 5 stars for everything: quiet study atmosphere, aesthetically pleasing town setting, delicious food and drinks, and numerous seating areas. Parking is terrible here, but you can park around the building. Upon walking in, you are fretting by a kind Korean lady who will give you ample time to order. We'd had eaten dinner already, but our mouths were watering looking at the food options. We stalled on some desserts with tea. We ordered a Nutella croffle with ice cream and a Tiramisu croffle with ice cream. The milk tea had come out first, and it tastes like an original milk tea. The croffles were fresh, crunchy, and sweet, paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. We ended up sitting near the front door, but there was an extended part of the cafe into the other side of the wall, where a lot of people were studying. It's a lovely place with beautiful decor. It's so silent, you can hear a pin drop. I think we'll have to come back to try all their snack and food options another time!
My friend and I came here on a Saturday around 1:30pm. I was amazed by how big and airy the space felt. Many young people were already seated, laptops out and headphones on, but there was still plenty of room. We spent a long time debating what to get, and thankfully, the worker was very patient. I gasped when I saw our food! I think one spaghetti could feed two people, that's how huge the serving was. The kimbob was also two times larger than normal, making it impossible to eat in one bite. The real stars of the show were the iced drinks. They were sweet and refreshing. The Watermelon Slush especially tasted very fresh and high-quality.
This adorable cafe is located with a good amount of parking. They have a ton of different food and drink options. They also have combo options. The decor of this shop is adorable! It's set up like a little town. There's a ton of tables and they have outlets as well. It makes a great spot for studying or getting work done. You order at the counter and they'll let you know when your order is ready. Their drinks are pretty good, but not the best. Their food is delicious. Their kimbap was HUGE. It surprised me. I'll definitely be coming back to try more on their menu.
Plenty of study/work spots in OC, but this is among one of the best ones, at least in terms of food. Walking in, the store has a very calm vibe with mellow music that's perfect to do work, and a different yet still visually appealing design. I don't really know how to explain the design to be honest. lol. The spot may not be designed for studying, and just a place for people to chill and catch up; however, lots of students and work from home individuals enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Onto the food itself, I've had the kimbap and chicken wings. The kimbap is decent, nothing stands out but definitely made well, the sauce being a great addition. As for the wings, these are a MUST try. TOP TWO imo behind San Tung in SF. I usually get the spicy garlic, and I believe it has the perfect kick, flavor, and texture, excelling on all levels in terms of taste. This may well be an exaggeration, but from time to time, getting it multiple times, they are some of the best wings I've ever had. I would say, something with some acidity would really pair well, but stand alone, these are phenomenal. Tried the sweet spicy too it was really good if you that flavor, consistent texture across flavors. As for drinks, they're all solid again, nothing stands out but not bad at all. One of their newer drinks is a mix of coffee and matcha foam, which surprisingly pairs really well, and I find myself reordering it often. Despite the great review thus fair, as a student that needs to do some work for school occasionally, I don't know why but almost every time, anything related to school will not load on my devices, which is frustrating and a hassle. Aside from that, great spot!
Was looking for a cafe in the afternoon to spend a few hours and get some work done. Cafe Orange was the best option due to having reliable WiFi, available outlets, and moderate level of noise. Cafe Orange is a step above other study places since it offers food and non-caffeinated options as well. I got the Americano and my girlfriend got the watermelon slushy. For parking, it was in a shared plaza. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed at that time. They do not accept American Express. However, they do accept VISA cards. The only drawback was one of the rooms did not have A/C, so it was a bit hotter on that side. Eventually, we moved the other side as it was more ventilated.
Cafe Orange is so cute! I was looking for a place to study near my house, and this is it! There is plenty of seating to be found, wiht lots of tables and chairs in two sections of the cafe. The front is more brightly lit, while the second is much moodier and dimly lit. They recommend getting one drink per person if you are coming here to study/use the tables if it is busier. I ordered the jasmine milk tea, and it was very good! Strong jasmine flavor and good milkiness. I had initially gotten a regular, but upgraded to a large because there is a $6 minimum if you are using a credit card to pay for your items. Most of the tables against the walls have outlets, but not so much for the free standing tables. They offer a lot of Korean food options as well if you're looking for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was on the quieter side and they play jazzy piano music as well on the speaker if you like that kinda vibe.
Among the positive impacts of things like K-pop demon hunters, Squid Game, and K-pop music more generally is that Korean culture is finally getting the attention it deserves, especially the food! I was looking for a nice spot to work remotely and stumbled upon the cutest coffee-date setting. One side is bright and quiet, perfect if you need some focus and isolation. The other side looks like a tiny city , little storefront-style décor that makes you feel like you're walking through a dreamy Paris/Seoul fusion. If I'm ever in the area, I'm definitely coming back here to work, study, and bring my wife when we want a cozy coffee date. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap and a flight of inari sushi cups : so good. The inari sushi boats were delicious! I got the spicy tuna ($11). An inari boat is essentially a sweet glazed tofu wrapper around a mound of rice, topped with a generous scoop of spicy tuna and fresh jalapeño slices. A fair warning: the jalapeño slices come with seeds, so if you bite into one directly, it'll clear out your sinuses and take the heat up a whole level! The kimbap was excellent as well (also $11). I went with the bulgogi and was not disappointed: it's like Korean BBQ in sushi form, wrapped in seaweed, flavorful and satisfying. I absolutely loved it. Also the dude behind the counter was super helpful and super hospitable.
This is an adorable little shop! The food is all delicious and very well priced, the service was amazing, the lady was very sweet to deliver our food even though we had a buzzer to come pick it up. The side room is decorated like a mini street which I absolutely adore, a cute and cozy place to come hang out! I will definitely be here again!!
I used to study at Orange Cafe in high school, so it was nice to visit and see that it's still open and offering the same good food and good vibes as it used to. It is quite big for a cafe, with a main cafe area and then a secondary room with lots of tables. Everyone there is usually very quiet, so I would highly recommend this spot to study at. For food, I got the spicy pork cupbob. It is a rice bowl topped with gochujang marinated pork, japchae, steamed veggies, and a drizzle of kewpie mayo. It is super simple, but a well-balanced meal, especially for fueling up when you're studying.
One of my fav study spots with a good variety of food and drink options. I did have some issues with connecting to the wifi for a bit but I got it to work eventually. There's a parking lot right in front and a decent amount of seating but it definitely fills up sometimes so I would keep that in mind. The california roll was pretty good. Only notable thing is that the pieces are a bit bigger than most places

It's been a while since I posted my last review about this place and after a few months of trying the different menu items I've come to the conclusion that this is hands down my favorite restaurant to go to for genuinely good food. Not only is the food delicious, but the scenery of the restaurant is so chill and inviting that it blows my mind that this restaurant isn't that well known. I have had some many great experiences coming to this place and I've never once been disappointed about the services provided by this restaurant. Some of the best food items in this restaurant are the Rice Cakes (you gotta get the cheese and eggs to get the full experience), Crabmeat Kimbap, Dumpling Ramen, and Baked Salmon Roll. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great food in general. This restaurant will never disappoint. read more
Quiet, nice music, spacious and FREE WIFI = perfect study space! My favorite part when visiting this pace was interacting with the cashier. I warned her that I was about to pay with a bunch quarters and I felt bad but she was so excited because they needed more coins! Her reaction made my day :) I order the sea salt ice coffee and it was a perfect blend of sweet and bitter. The food selection here looks really delicious and I will try net time I visit here. The parking lot is a bit small but not difficult to maneuver around. Prices are on the higher end for drinks but worth it for the space, especially if you plan on studying for hours on end. read more

i've been going to this place for two years now. their sea salt iced coffee is a good pick-me-up. also, i like to say this is a prime spot for a first date or a "let's study and i like to see you romantically, maybe" spot. also good for the singles who are single-minded for the most part looking for a place to study. hands down the dining room is memorable. it has that "town" vibe along the opposing side. really great aesthetic. good place to sit down for a meal. Urban steak for the really hungry two people. (not recommended for single person to finish unless you plan to take the leftovers home.) i recommend the salmon plate that comes with california roll, fried gyoza, and salad. the staff is amazing and courteous. thank you for such a good vibe. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here. I don't want this place to get too crowded smh. This absolute GEM of a coffee shop had the cutest decor and most wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel like you stepped into a portal and transported yourself somewhere else. Food was tasty and worth the price. Decent service and super clean area. Probably not the best to study because there are only 2 outlets in the entire place, but definitely 12/10 recommend for a cute date or friend meet-up. There's a decent sized parking lot, where I had no trouble finding a spot. Will definitely be visiting with my friends again!! read more

This place is good for studying. I like the interior. I'm pretty sure they have WiFi if you ask but it's not posted anywhere and I was too shy to ask. There's a separate room full of tables to study. It was pretty full when I came in so I wasn't able to go into the room but there's also seating in the main area. I ordered a large iced affogato and I didn't like it. Tastes like diluted coffee to me. So I ordered a white hazelnut coffee. Tastes the exact same. No hint of hazelnut whatsoever. But otherwise, the place is a good spot. I saw lots of people gather together to study, socialize, etc. The staff is very nice and seen very hardworking. Another downside was that the bathroom had no paper towels, no toilet seat covers, and. I hand soap. Just a working toilet and toilet paper. The door was also pretty hard to open and close since it's slanted. Good food (I didn't get it this time but I've had the food here before). I don't recommend 2 items on the coffee menu. Great study spot. Pee before you get here. read more

Met up with an old coworker to catch up at Cafe Orange since she works in Garden Grove. It was my first time there and I loved the cute vibe. We both ordered the poke bowl and I got the Sea Salt Iced Coffee. Both were delicious!! The poke bowl was one of the best I ever had, so tasty and fresh! Definitely will return. read more

The two things that came to mind when coming to Cafe Orange was so cute and this could be my new study spot! The location is within the small strip of Garden Grove Blvd. where a lot of Korean businesses tend to thrive in. Cafe Orange is a nice study spot filled with the perfect amount of drinks, food, and ambiance. They recently just expanded their location so there's another part of the building you can go through to study or relax and snacks with friends. There are outlets along the walls if you need to have your laptop charged as a heads up. The interior of the Cafe is really decorative, especially in regards to their expanded location. It seems like you're right inside a small little town with how the decor was! We came right near the end of December so they were still playing Christmas music and had their festive decorations up which kept up the mood. There is a large menu of food and drinks you can decide from when you come here to Cafe Orange and keep in mind to do the Yelp Check-In so you can get their special promotion! We got the dukkbokki with ramen, bulgogi kimbap, and lychee peach tea. The best way I could describe the taste was very reminiscent of the street food I had in Korea. The dukkbokki was probably my least favorite since I found the rice cake a bit too chewy and the sauce a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was very nostalgic and reminiscent of what I had in Korea out in the street and I did find myself reaching for more (especially when the sauce was mixed with all that good ramen). The bulgogi kimbap was tasty and was pretty good to dip with the dukkbokki sauce to give it that extra spicy kick. The meat was tendy and I liked the taste of the vegetables for this particular kimbap. The drinks were really good too! I like how there was the right amount of sweetness and you could actually taste both the lychee and peach together instead of one overpowering the other. Coming here to Cafe Orange has allowed me to discover my new go-to study spot to do work or a bit of studying when I can! read more

Loved this place. Quick and fast and the coffee was fantastic. I had the sea salt one and it was a black coffee with simple sea salt cream. 10/10 drink. I also had two bulgogi kimbaps, 1 veggie and one tteokbokki. Everything roughly cost a total of $46, a little pricey, but it was well worth my money. 10/10 would recommend for a study spot as well. If you're looking for a place to go alone to study, this place is to go Parking was easy too, ton of parking spaces. Everyone is very friendly, there was one girl working at the front and she had brown hair, she was super sweet and even bowed down when giving my food. Loved her! The kimbap is so good here, I can't even describe how much I like it. All the flavors come together well. I've been here twice. The first time I got a coffee drink, the second time I got peach lychee tea. I think I liked the tea more than the coffee. Sometimes, service takes a little longer, so you just have to be patient. :) But! They have free WiFi and stamp cards! The bathroom is really clean, which I really appreciated. read more

Came here for the first time with a friend in one afternoon. I like the place is spacious with lots of tables and chairs. I noticed a lot of people come here to work or study so it was somewhat quiet. The food we ordered were good. Price is not cheap but they do give you a good quantity. Service is so so. It's the type of cafe where you order/pay at register and when food's ready you come to the register to pick up your food. You then bring it back to the register when you're finished. I love the ambiance of this place! It's pretty small, but a good place to study at. I tried their poki bowl for the first time. The fish is fresh & the portion size is great. However, I suggest you ask for light sauce because it was very overpowering. I also wish there was more to the bowl considering the price being around $17. read more

This is one of my favorite spots to do work and also get my tea fix as well. The chairs are comfortable to sit in and there is enough space on the desks to work on your own or with others. There are outlets along the walls and the bathroom is regularly maintained as well My go to drinks here is the peach lychee or the honey green milk tea if you're looking for something a little sweet and refreshing. Their popcorn chicken is okay too and everything is affordable. But I would recommend their Korean dishes, like beef kimbap or ramen read more

The food and drinks are great here. I've gotten their kimbap, ramen and DBK and the portions have always been larger than normal. The interior is super cute and they play soft Korean music throughout the shop. The only thing left to be desired is more outlets and bathrooms but everything else has been great. read more

This place has lots of space and tables with drinks and snacks so perfect to camp out to study and just chill with friends. I like the ice cream pandan waffle along with Washington roll. The gimbap is basic and the deobokki was decent. I like the wings and sparking ade they offer. I only wished they doordashed but they don't. I often call to order ahead of time and pick up the take out to save time. That said, I will keep coming back. read more

I was scared this place would be overrated but it wasn't! Came here to study with friends and wasn't disappointed. LOTS of table space and the decor is super cute. I got a caramel flan which is normally $3.50 but comes to $3.02 with the 20% check in discount plus tax. It's basically a slushy milk base with egg pudding, boba, sweetener, and a cute drizzle of caramel on the side. Pretty much what you would expect. I also ordered the Korean waffle which is a fish shaped waffle with red bean on the inside. Two decent sized waffles per order for $3. : ) Suuuuper good service! I ordered a Veggie Kimbap for pick up several days ago and honestly it was super disappointing. The food is very dry and super mediocre. We were waiting in the nonexistent line for awhile until someone finally walked up to us. The workers don't wear gloves which is another minus. Don't see us coming back! read more

This place was amazing before but as of recent it has significantly fallen in quality. It's a shame because I genuinely loved going here and would very frequently come and introduce others to this cute little cafe. Honestly food quality is a miss now, which sucks because they enforce a rule that you have to purchase a food item in order to sit down at the tables. This however seems very circumstantial (have been here multiple times since I was made aware of this rule however I have seen others not receive this notice when they only had a drink and no food items. Have also noticed this regardless how busy the place was. Maybe this rule doesn't apply to the old Korean ladies or the worker's friends, I couldn't tell you. It doesn't seem consistent). read more

Meh. For the price not worth it. Rather go to Jaws DBK. Price is way more than menu prices found on yelp. For close to $50, I could've got more food or better quality food at a restaurant. Didn't try their drinks, so can't say regarding their drink menu. For close to $10 each item, I can go to a Korean restaurant and order actual food with all their sides. Their kimbaps and dbk were way too sweet for my preference. read more
