The service here was really disappointing. Our server disappeared for a while, leaving three of us waiting in line with no explanation. When we were finally seated, it took her quite a while to take our order--even though the place wasn't busy at all. I ordered a lemonade that never came, so I ended up just drinking water. The food took way too long to come out, especially considering I only ordered a salad. I didn't see my server again after that, so I had to ask one of the chefs to ring me up--definitely not his job, but he was kind enough to help. My total ended up being close to $30, which felt excessive for the experience I had. I would definitely not recommend this place is you're looking for a brunch/study spot. I was hesitant to come here since in the past they have ran out of items that we ordered. Last year I took a large party for my birthday and a lot of my guests were asked to order something else because they didn't have that items. And our food all came out at different times. And then when my husband and I went after that, the same thing happened again with menu items. We went on Saturday early afternoon for a late breakfast since it's been a while. It looked a little different from the last time we came, theres new seating and a large table in the middle but still has the same framed art and paintings on the walls and ceilings. There was one worker in the front (which seems to be typical) and I believe one in the back cooking. It didn't take long for her to seat us but when my husband started to order his coffee she informed him that they were running out of oat milk so what would he like if they don't have any. Luckily she did have oat milk and enough to make me one as well. They had the other menu items we ordered as well. She was friendly but very busy. She was doing everything. Cleaning tables, seating people, taking the orders, bringing out food, running the cash register and cleaning the restroom. My husbands breakfast burrito was really good. And I ordered the french toast- it was a little burnt on one of the breads (front and back) and I could taste it, but other than that it was good. We also got two lattes. The prices are not in the menu which is a little weird, but they were on the menu online if you scan the QR code. Not sure if the prices are correct as my husband didn't get the receipt so I'm not sure how much everything was individually but we spent 61.69$ (incliding a tip of 20%) I believe there is new owners so I will definitely come again and give them another shot, and support them. I'm not quite sure I would take another large party there until I have visited a few more times and know that they have menu items consistently. I do want to give feedback on the menus- it's a turn off to not have the prices readily available. Hopefully the menu will be updated soon. read more

Permanently closed. A friend - who had been raving about this spot - drove out from Palm Springs to introduce me to this food... Imagine our dismay when, despite a website, Yelp page AND (oddly active) Instagram page indicating they were open, the doors were locked and the inside thoroughly cleaned out. What a shame. Not just because I would have liked to sample the excellent vegan fare I heard about, but because apparently this now-defunct business is misleading potential patrons by continuing to accept reservations and food orders instead of doing the responsible thing (updating their online presence to reflect the closure). read more

If you're looking for a good vegan food, this is the place to go. They have good burgers, tacos, and I actually love their Caesar chicken salad. My favorite thing to get though is the nachos. It's very hard to find a place that does vegan nachos delicious. When this place first opened years ago, it wasn't that good and I never went back but ever since they changed owners and they changed the style of it. This place has become one of my favorite vegan places to go to. The employees are very nice. Also, the environment really chill. So it's not too loud, but it's not that quiet. YES YES YES YES YES! THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!! I used to live in Loma Linda area about 20 years ago, and so much had changed. Now, my job's headquarter is in San Bernardino and one of my coworker happened to be a vegetarian, and asked me to eat here for lunch. I am not a big vegetarian eater, but oh WOW! this place really is really amazing! We ordered a burger and chix sandwich (Mamba burger with truffle fries), and the tacos. EVERYTHING TASTE LIKE A REAL MEAT! I honestly will never guess that the food was not real meat. It was so good, to the point that my vegetarian friend got scared and asked the waiter if it was not a real meat. And she confirmed that everything was 100% plant based and that it was their goals to make it taste like a real meat. My other coworkers weren't lying when they said the fries are the best! it was truly THE BEST FRIES I ever taste. Yes, everything is expensive, but so does anything else thats vegetarian. I did not order any of their coffees but I definitely will come back. Sorry Yelpers, I didnt take the food pictures. We were so hungry we just scarfed everything down! The waiter also mentioned that they often change the menu, and will do so in February. Ohhh hopefully they still have the fries. They also served alcohol. I really wanted to like this place. With its health-forward branding and stocked shelves of wellness items, I was hopeful for a great experience. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The ambience is just okay, a bit awkward with what looks like a misplaced refrigerator section right at the entrance, reminiscent of a Subway layout. The menu situation is confusing, all prices are whited out, QR codes at the tables link to an online menu, but ingredients are only listed on the physical menu. "Updated prices" are online, yet not clearly marked, which made ordering frustrating. There was one visibly overwhelmed employee labored with juggling both cashier and table service duties. It was clear they were doing their best, but no one person should be handling that much alone. The restroom was filthy, which only added to the poor impression. I ordered a salad with vegan chicken which came to 30 with tip. A high price, but I was hopeful the food would make up for it. I picked up the order, drove back to the office only to fine there were no utensils, no fork, no napkins in the bag. I ended up roaming my building trying to find someone who could spare a fork. By the time I sat down, I could barely enjoy the salad even though, to be fair, it tasted great. Ultimately, this experience felt like a waste of time, money, and energy. I should have read the reviews before going. Like many others before me, I won't be back, and I hope the owner takes this seriously: your employees and customers deserve better. Cafe Organix is located in a small shopping center parking lot off Hospitality. You'll know you've arrived when you see the gorgeous white fringe umbrellas out front . This space offers an outdoor patio with umbrellas or indoor seating with low top tables and a high top tall table. Inside you'll find a counter with health and wellness products like soaps and teas. It is also decorated with hip art all over the walls. Their menu is plant based and if you haven't tried vegan or vegetarian, don't be scared - this food is delicious and does not disappoint, nor does it lack in flavor by any means. The sauce used throughout many of their dishes is liquid gold. I wanted a whole bottle of it. I tried the French toast, breakfast tacos and sunny side burger . The French toast is the best I've ever had ... the fresh strawberries on top were perfect with the custard dipped pieces of sourdough. I also tried the guava mimosa, pineapple passion mocktail and iced coffee - again, WOW. Their mocktails are beautiful and so refreshing! Service was friendly and the food came out in good timing. Not coming back here and I'm going to be very clear why: management is dishonest and shameless about it. Secretly charging for tap water? Really? Why bother making it seem like it's about California's water conservation? If so, include a notice on the menu. Make the servers mention it. Print an itemized bill for customers to look over. Hell, start charging to use the restroom because you don't know who may flush twice or wash their hands too long. Why claim that since enacting this policy, water wastage has "gone down to 25%," whatever that means, when you've never been transparent to customers that this is even happening? If you come, ask for an empty glass, then fill it up in the sink in the bathroom. It'd taste just as good as the ~gourmet~ herbed lemon water that they're so proud of serving you anyway. The food was fine (although extremely expensive. Expect to spend around $20 for a burger and fries). I would revise my review if management agreed to: 1. Be fully transparent about the water being $1 per person. The server did not warn me at all which made him feel complicit in the dishonesty. Add a note about it on the menu. If this is for conservation, then people should be given the choice to opt out so that they can avoid wasting water. 2. Remove the policy of waiving the fee for water if you order a drink. This makes no sense, but it was hilarious. Someone who orders a drink is more likely to not finish their water, as they already have a drink... Making water free in this case only encourages water waste. 3. Give an itemized receipt, especially after already being so secretive about it. I am so glad I happened to peruse Yelp before leaving because I knew to press back on the tablet and check. $1 per person? You would just think it's tax. Sneaky sneaky. This week was the last straw for me. Each time I come here I am more and more disappointed. Typically there is only one worker and it gets busy for them to handle. This time the male server who took our order, served us our water & chips after the party who was seated minutes after us. He then gave our order to their table and in the end we got served sweet potato's fries because "they ran out of fries". The bread and the burger/chikn was also cold, one had soggy bread. Service always sucks, my order has been messed up on 3 occasions, and the owner did not even want to come out and apologize or anything. I ate here a month ago and gave a five star review. I honestly want to drop a star but I believe the mishap was partially my fault. I came in and was told by the male server that it would be a two minute wait. I ended waiting 20-25 minutes. I decided to sit down because I didn't want to stand in the doorway and block the entrance. Maybe he forgot that I was dinning in. Maybe he was busy figuring out current tables. I can be shy and didn't want to be rude about asking or seem impatient. It wasn't really busy, he walked by me a few times. Cute spot and we came for dinner while on our way to NC. We ordered the pesto quinoa with chicken. Service was good but we got a huge bowl of quinoa and barely found any chicken! It had no pesto taste at all to it. I told the server and all he said yes it has pesto in it. My friend didn't even eat his so total waste! Also the cost was 50.00 for the two of them. Husband and I came here for the first time today, I tried the Pesto Quinoa Bowl, my husband had the breakfast burrito. Place is kind of cute and welcoming. There's plenty of places to sit outside as well as inside, something about eating good vegan food and sitting outside though. When you walk in, they have a few goods you can purchase, like teas, sea moss gummies and deserts to name a few. The girl who helped us at the register, I believe she may have been one of the owners, was very nice and helpful. My quinoa bowl tasted pretty much like what I make at home, however I feel it had a bit too much oil, I like my quinoa fluffy. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use, I will definitely ask next time. I did like the flavors, the mushrooms with the basil pesto is a good choice with quinoa, which can be a bit bland on its own. I got a pretty big serving as well, I was quite full for the rest of the day. My husbands breakfast burrito was really good according to him. I couldn't try it since I'm gluten free though. But It was packed and the vegan eggs were really good, (I could try those). The only thing he didn't like was the salsa. I don't know if they make their own, I tried it too and it was a miss for us. Had the best first visit here for lunch today. Yelp reviews definitely came through for me when I searched vegan restaurants in the area before traveling there for work for the day. I ordered the very popular Hot Damn burger based on the great yelp reviews, and it was as spicy and delicious as they said. Portions were very large on the burger and the perfect garlic fries (I boxed half of my order to go and enjoyed it as an appetizer :) to my lite dinner). First time I've tasted crispy garlic fries with a rich garlic flavor, that weren't overly greasy or soft, and didn't have obvious chopped garlic and oil all over them. Manager Shiloh lacks professionalism and customer service. I had a bad experience some time ago with poor service and food quality (I am just getting around to writing my review). This was odd because I love everything on the menu and frequently eat there for lunch. This time, I went for dinner with a friend because I had been bragging about the place. After my friend made fun of my poor decision, I reached out via social media to share my experience. After a few message exchanges, I was asked if I would be returning. I replied that I could come today and asked if the manager would be there and if they were offering a free lunch. Her response was, "Yes, anytime." When I arrived, it took quite some time for someone to acknowledge me. Finally, when Shiloh came over, I let her know who I was and that I was there for my complimentary meal. She looked at me with a scowl and said something to the effect that she never offered me a meal and it was very flippant (reminds me of my teenager). Although I could have shown her the text, I was done at that point. I just stopped eating there and enlisted the support of everyone in my building. So I experienced poor customer service while thinking I was receiving a complimentary meal because of my previous experience with poor service and food quality. WOW! read more

As a resident carnivore, I was very nervous to chow down but I'm so glad I did. I had a bacon burger (no idea what's in the vegan bacon but delicious to me) and their fries were heaven dunked in vegan ranch. My friend got the shrimp tacos and I thought they were lovely. Owner said some meat eaters usually don't enjoy their shrimp but I thought it was fantastic. Cute little shop with great art. Waitress was very friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. For this carnivore, Café Organix has the vegan taste dialed in. Take a look at my pics and you'll see my confusion of what is happening. The "hamburger" looks and tastes pretty legit. While its name implies that it's a café, this really has the qualities of a well-run higher-end restaurant. You'll see in the corner of my pics how the silverware is presented. The waters had lemon slices in them. All of which are a notch above that required extra labor and attention to detail. While the music was a bit loud for our taste, it had very upbeat vibe mood going. You also see from my pics the art, and light and airy tone of the place. Back to the "hamburger" .......... I ordered The Mamba. While obviously it wasn't a hamburger, it had the texture and overall bite of a hamburger. When you added all the fixings (BTW the onions were mild but still added a really nice crunch), the hamburger tasted pretty good. I had BBQ sauce for a dipping sauce with the fries, and I added some to the hamburger and it went really, really well. Both fries, see pics, are worthy of a paragraph of their own. These are how fries should be done: very crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. In fact, their process didn't over cook the sweet potato fries and they retained their sweet potato flavor (the flavor wasn't fried out of them). While the garlic fires were crunchy and cooked to perfection, the garlic flavor was very, very mild. The aioli dipping sauce was also very mild. The BBQ sauce was the slightly sweet variety and was good. The Pesto Quinoa was a hit - it should have been sold by the pound, there was a lot. First: the "sausage". Its fennel flavor shined through and was a nice compliment. The pesto was correctly portioned with the quinoa. And the cherry tomatoes add a sporadic amount of acid to the bowl. The fruit dish was a nice dessert. You can see from my pic the freshness. Unfortunately, you're missing out on the sweet flavors. This was quality fresh fruit. read more

This place was once a great spot. Sad to say it has really fallen. -food was not exact to the menu and a bit overpriced for the quality. Non of the dishes came out together. The French toast was burnt and chewy. Our coffees came out cold. The cafe nachos came out with no pico de gallo or sour cream. When I asked, the server said they don't serve sour cream (something to change on their menu since the menu says sour cream) and she said the nachos were supposed to come with pico de gallo. We were given a side of pico de gallo to add. Pico de gallo is onion, tomato, cilantro, and a type of hot pepper. The pico de gallo we got was tomato and onion. -one cook and one server. Flavorful and the shell was a good texture with a slight crunch. The tortilla chips were alright although they came plain. I guess you can scoop up the beyond meat with it.
