We had seen other reviews on cafe Pacifica and decided to try it. The tables are on an outside covered deck. The deck is open and very pleasant to sit. The bagel with cream cheese and salmon was one of the best we have eaten. The fried fish and fries was better than any we've eaten in UK. There was just one man taking orders, cooking and serving and yet the service was faster than other restaurants and he was very pleasant as he literally ran from table to kitchen and back. Try it. Cozy, small, yet relaxing cafe a few blocks from the beach. Similar to Chit Chat Cafe, this cafe is also an independent coffee shop serving sandwiches and bagels in addition to breakfast. Ambiance is rather cozy yet quirky; there are random pictures and knicknacks around the walls. Be sure to check their hours, since they're not always open in the afternoon. I came around 1:45 for a small lunch to-go. The girl at the counter mentioned that since they were closing at 2, there would be a limited hot menu of only bagels and sandwiches rather than their usualy wraps and plates. That was fine; I got an Piggy on a Blanket on an asiago bagel (cream cheese, avocado, and bacon) and a small mocha. Everything was pretty good. The bagel was toasted and came with a generous portion of bacon strips. If you don't like too much cream cheese, I would suggest getting it on the side. It was a bit pricey at $8 though tastes good. The mocha was decent as well, though could have been slightly warmer. I think I prefer the Chit Chat by Manor to this Cafe, though I like this one better than the Chit Chat on the pier. If you want to grab a decent cup of coffee and a bite after a walk on the beach, this place is a good choice. read more

Uh oh. This is going to be dangerous. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place when our original lunch spot was unexpectedly closed for the day. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, ranging from breakfast plates and bagels, to sandwiches and wraps. We both ordered the Gangsta Wrap which was amazing. I never thought to put hash browns in a wrap or sandwich but it is GENIUS. There's a mango salsa in the wrap which was really tasty--but messy for me. Every bite I took the salsa would squirt out on the other end, sometimes even dripping down my hands. So this is a caution to those who don't like getting messy when they eat. For me, I'll deal with it because it's so good! We would return just for this wrap. The beachy decor inside and out on the deck are really cute. This place has it all. Great food, friendly service, and most importantly an amazing logo. The inside of the café is tiny. With only three or four tables to sit at, and the counter taking up a substantial portion of the room, it can feel somewhat claustrophobic. However, the café also has an outdoor seating area that is twice the size of the interior. I ordered the breakfast panini with scrambled eggs, bacon, and Pepper Jack cheese. The sandwich was filled with fluffy eggs, crispy (and tasty) bacon, and so much cheese it was oozing with every bite. It was delicious. However, not as delicious as the bagel with avocado, cream cheese, and Pacifica's own version of seasoning salt. I can't remember what the bagel concoction was called on the menu, but it was phenomenal. The food is too good to pass up, so a day in Pacifica shouldn't be complete without checking out Pacifica Café. read more

Cafe Pacifica is within walking distance from my house. A cafe that helps make Pacifica a special place in my opinion. Really friendly service. A small selection of pastries to choose from. Good coffee. A real comfortable feel when you walk in, with a fish tank, usually a few people sitting, sipping on coffee, chatting. On a nice day I like getting my coffee and chillin out on the front porch and enjoying the sun. There's just something about the wood boards that this cafe is made of, that you kind of just want to get cozy. For people who feel they have to go to Starbucks or Pete's. They have the best freshly made scones in Pacifica! They deserve 5 stars for that alone because a really good scone is not easy to make despite the few ingredients. The texture is prefect and even better when you're able to get one that just came out of the oven! Very lightly crispy on the outside, tender and perfectly moist and crumbly in the inside. Not overly sweet with fruit that tasted fresh. I asked the cashier where they got their scones and much to my surprise, they make their own fresh daily! My friend and I were in the area and stopped here for a little bite to eat. We didn't look at any reviews or anything beforehand so we weren't aware of what to get and/or not get. We ended up getting a tropical peach smoothie, latte, and Asiago bagel with a pesto cream cheese. I forget if the girl working said that the pesto cream cheese also had sun dried tomatoes or not. Either way, the mix of the Asiago bagel and pesto cream cheese was so good! They put a ton of cream cheese which I didn't hate but it was definitely unexpected. I didn't try the latte but the peach smoothie was also a good pick. Because of covid, the seating area can be limited. My friend and I ended up walking to the pier area which wasn't far at all. My roommate and I were about to do laundry Sunday morning because we have pushed it off for weeks, but we were both hungry and craving bagels. It had avocado, hashbrowns, meat and cheese of your choice, salsa, egg, and tortilla flavor of your choice so I was like, HELL YEAH. I also ordered a tropical twister, a smoothie that had mango juice, mango chunks, pineapples and something else.. I forgot But let me tell you, this place is DELICIOUS. The wrap itself was perfect. The hashbrowns were crispy, the tortilla wasn't too thick, the bacon I got with the melted pepper jack cheese went well with EVERYTHING. The tropical twister smoothie is one of the best smoothies I've had in so long. I love mangos and if you love mangos, you'll definitely love this smoothie. As for my roommate, she got the morning bagel and she absolutely enjoyed it. She ate it in like 5 minutes LOL. But after, we were eyeing the homemade donuts they had and I ended up getting two, even though my roommate insisted I only get one for myself (thanks to the little cashier that listened to me and rang me up for 2 donuts!) Ok, what a cute little spot! I took my kiddos over here for some brunch and let me tell you, it was delicious. I got the gangster wrap, and the kids got one thing of pancakes/bacon/eggs, bagel loaded with veggies and a burger. All three kids inhaled their food! It was a little cramped for my party of 4 but we sat out on the deck and it was so relaxing! We even had the honor of petting the good pups sitting outside with us. Customer service was awesome! I would give this no stars if I could. We went in greeted by a sign that said No indoor dining without vaccination card. It was freezing outside but we didn't have ours with us- so okay. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and I an omelette with Swiss cheese and avocado. The bill was 30.00! But okay. We gathered our plastic utensils and napkins ( which is understandable these days) and went to sit outside. We waited and finally my husband went to check inside. Our cartons were sitting on the counter. My husband asked "We're you going to tell us? The cashier didn't answer him. My omelette was okay but the Swiss cheese was cheap- stringy and chewy and tasteless. My hash browns were McDonalds style. My husband's cheese burger was okay but the lettuce was wilted and had brown edges. The inside was dark and unbolting. It has obviously changed hands and the new owners obviously don't care at all. My husband and I both got lattes, a veggie bagel and a sausage egg and cheese bagel. The lattes were delicious, they use quality espresso and steam their milk to perfection. The veggie bagel was yummy. I added their house seasoning which was very yummy. I do wish they had different flavors of cream cheese like a chive or jalapeno would of escalated the flavor tremendously. The sausage and eggs are made on a grill top!! Besides the eggs being golden, the sandwich was overall good. It could of used some additional seasoning as well, but the sausage had a good slightly sweet flavor. The menu is pretty diverse with some good breakfast and lunch options, and other diners' food seemed to look pretty decent. The space is cozy and in a good location; and Pacifica really does need more decent restaurants. My issue was with the young man who took our order and checked us out. He was rude, disengaged, got our order wrong, and didn't care one bit. I am sure his coworkers are very tired of his being so lackadaisical and frankly a bit rude. For example, when we were done with ordering, I asked for my coffee cup. "You ordered coffee?" Yes. And I had asked to have an ingredient left out of my omelette b/c I'm highly allergic - he didn't bother registering my request, and thus I accidentally ate a bite and later was so, so sorry. And when I went in to ask for the correct order, explaining why, he didn't apologize or really even register my presence. At least the person who brought out the order was polite. From my perspective, this could be a five-star local eatery with good coffee - but having high school (early college?) students run the register with such an utter disdain and rudeness for the paying customers makes me wonder, is it really worth the cheap labor? (I can't imagine why else this young man is working there.) And a last pet peeve, there's a sign saying, "Cash only, no receipts." Is that legal? No receipts? Just curious. read more

Yes, I'm a fan of Cafe Pacifica. :-) This little cafe in Pacifica really looks like it has been built to be on the beach instead of two blocks away from it. Maybe they have a longterm strategy and hope that the beach once reaches Palmetto Avenue ... Service at this place really varies from who is there, but they're all friendly (but sometimes confused). The menu offers a variety of choices. So far all the food we had there was very good. Pancakes are cooked well, omelets have rich filling and the bagel sandwiches make a good meal. Coffee is decent and the Watermelon juice is very watermelony (that's why I ordered it). When we go there we like to sit outside on that little bench (so that's our spot. ok?) which makes it feel even more relaxing. So far this is our favorite breakfast, sit-down coffee place in our part of Pacifica. read more
