Be adventurous and get off the strip. The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of options. I am always skeptical of extensive menus. I ordered a torta and was not disappointed. Delicious, soft bread; the meat was seasoned well and very large--plenty of food for two people. I think people wouldn't give it a try because of the location. I don't see many tourists trying this place. Give it a try.

Although it's not in the best neighborhood in Las Vegas , the food was worth taking the risk for. They're known for their Molcajate, which are basically an assortment of meats and ingredients inside a stone bowl. The bowl came out piping hot and the carne asada and chicken were very juicy and flavorful. I believe they made the tortillas in house as they tasted very fresh and had a nice chew to it. I also got their margarita which had a generous amount to it and I definitely did not need seconds. The atmosphere is lively and friendly with a mariachi band playing in the background which made it even more fun. The locals here seem to enjoy it so it's definitely a good sign you should try it too!

Great service and food Minus the 1 star for ambiance. I came here for the first time ever after living in this side of town for almost my whole life. They just allow anyone's dad or uncle in here to sing songs and it was really nice until it was disturbing. 3 guys come in with a guitar and ask to sing you a song for tips and then another 3 and then another 3. It was weird and obnoxious honestly. We gave in to let one group sing a song Then they asked for a $30 tip. Odd. Solution: This place would do well with a permanent stage for performers to rotate*

Decided to try this place based on the YELP REVIEWS, let me tell you! It didn't disappoint! The food was so, so delicious! They had live music and the service was good! I ordered a margarita and it was ok, not the best I've had but the molcajete was bomb! Enough for my husband and I, the portion was very large, we couldn't finish the whole thing. Definitely going back when I am back in Vegas!

Great food and attentive service. We started with a couple great guacamole and chips along with a bucket of beers. The 4 of us had 3 different molcajete all of which were huge and we had a large take home box to go. The bill came to $200 for the 5 of us plus a $40 tip. We went on a week night and avoided the usual crowd with loud music and mariachi bands.

The food, the service and the restaurant were all 5 stars! The restaurant was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The chairs are comfy and tables nicely spaced. The team was super accommodating with our surprise party of 9 and super kind. They brought out a complimentary birthday shot and dessert - haven't had that in a long time! The queso dip was so yummy and filling I could have left with just that and been filled up. The steak items were cooked perfectly and the enchiladas had an aftertaste I can't place but had me going back for bite after bite!

Tried this place out since we're nearby and heard great things. It's a cute restaurant. Friendly staff and food was good. We opted to share the macho molcajete. And we had a carne asada sope. There was some mariachis that came in to sing as well very festive.

Enchiladas

Great service, food was amazing, great music playing. They had the game playing as well and plenty of tvs to watch it from any side you sat at

Ranchero

The Ranchero was so amazing! The chicken and the chorizo in the red sauce are my favorites . Can't wait to fit back.

Delicious molcajetes. Had a few over the years and they don't tend to disappoint. They're also fully loaded, no skimping on portion sizes.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were too much for me, in part because they came with three sides, all delicious. My husband had the carne asada quesadilla and enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I tried the lime margarita, also excellent, and we couldn't leave without trying the churros for dessert. The ambience is lovely, with gorgeous decor, comfortable booths, and an excellent Hispanic music playlist. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Big shoutout to our server, Brandy, who knew just when to replace the lemonade, and suggested the excellent street corn. We will be back very soon!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

Perfect for a romantic date, business dinner or celebrating something. Food is Mexican upscale an very exquisite. They have original drinks and each dish is beautifully decorated. We ordered a Matcha Martini (can't even describe how good it was). For food we had the Crispy Calamari and Chicken Enchiladas. Perfect for sharing, delicate and it is a explosion of flavors in your mouth. Service is so outstanding, Mariah and Jesus were our servers. You get assigned two servers even being a party of two. Since entering the restaurant we were treated like VIP and everyone said Happy Anniversary to us. They had even read our special instructions of dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy free). At the end of our dining experience the Chef sent us a Dairy Free, Gluten free and Vegan dessert on the house to celebrate oour special day. It was such the perfect touch to end our dining experience. It was our first time here, we will definitely come back and reserve for a later time since the only thing we missed were the performers because they show up later at night.
