The places has a very welcoming and sleek appearance with several tables and people hanging out with their friends or their laptops. There's minimal interaction with the staff, ordering takes place through a table and they simply call out your name. The tea quality and drinks are outstanding here. A notable shout out to the strawberry black milk tea, which has a solid strawberry taste and creamy texture. But no matter the drink, the beverages here are top notch and definitely earns a recommendation. One of the tea places I consistently go to, and that's saying quite a bit since I've been through many of the milk tea joints in LA as a whole. Tried this place out since I was in the area and wanted a refreshing tea. I wasn't a fan of the concept of placing my order on the kiosk with no customer to employee interaction. I had questions about certain drinks but couldn't ask because both the workers were tied up in making drinks. It was only a male and female working today and they seemed overwhelmed making all the orders. Definitely needs to be more help because the wait was really long, definitely not a grab and go type place for a boba milk tea. Also when you get less ice they don't fill your drink up all the way which I was disappointed. Less ice means less drink? Interesting. Cute and quaint coffee shop with good coffee! As someone who has a little higher standards for coffee living near Seattle, the coffee here is delicious! I had the Pruvia hot coffee and Butterscotch iced coffee from the special menu that I shared with my friend. You order your coffee through the kiosk. I like that you can request to cut the caffeine in half if you're more sensitive and the different sweetness options. Both of the coffee had good flavor and body. I initially had Cafe Pruvia bookmarked and saw they had a Pruvia Coffee Bar right next door? Cafe Pruvia looks more of a boba shop, so it was cool that there's a coffee bar specializing in their coffee more! They seem to have more coffee options here and the vibes were on point with the coffee shop theme. All tables were filled too at the time that we went, so it must be a popular local shop! Based on both shops, it seems like the Spanish latte was their specialty drink, so I went ahead and got that one. My bf got his usual Americano. Ordering was also really easy since you can just order through the tablet, and it'll just send to the baristas. Getting the Spanish Latte, it comes in like your usual boba drink, cute! Then sipping drink, hm it didn't really taste like authentic coffee. It tasted like how a boba joint would make coffee, which it just tasted more like coffee flavored? It tasted almost like a milk tea that was coffee flavored lol. The coffee roast wasn't strong at all and the cinnamon was very subtle, I didn't even realize there was a cinnamon stick in my drink until I drank more of it. So everything in this drink just tasted very subtle. Maybe the flavors didn't bring out the taste as much? Overall, the drink was okay, it's just that it doesn't really taste like coffee. My coffee was a 8/10, the baristas are nice and chill and I like the fact that their attire is pretty much all black, solid look for the kitchen/barista crew. This place does get pretty busy and a line can stack up in waves but they do a good job getting the crowd in and out. The seats here are super comfortable and the place is clean, good spot for studying or hanging, the lighting is well lit for reading and writing. I've only been here during the evenings and the seating is usually taken up but if you stick around for a while a spot will open up, outside seating will be available. Cafe Pruvia is one of the most underrated spots in the South Bay for boba. They definitely perfected the milk teas! Although I'm not a big milk tea guy, their drinks are quite impressive. Strawberry milk tea with black tea is so refreshing but also satisfies that milk crave. If you are looking for a fruit tea, I recommend the peach green tea as it is nice and tart. They also have amazing service and are very welcoming. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to study or work, as it is always packed with college students studying on their computers. I will say, the boba pearls can be inconsistent. Some days I would go and the boba will be really small while other days they will be just right. That's their only flaw. Even though their cups may be sturdier for multiple reuse, they're still thrown away by everyone else, as I saw in the trashcans around Cafe Pruvia that busy day. Solid boba, plus a good spot to study or hang out! I got a Jasmine milk tea 75% sweet with boba. This was perfect sweetness, and I appreciate that the tea flavor comes through strong but not overwhelming. The boba was soft but not mushy, which was good. You order on the kiosk tablets which are convenient, so they do not accept cash, but you can still get your receipt printed if you want. Their bathroom was currently out of order which was inconvenient, so if you do need it, there is a Japanese market right by in the plaza. There is a decent sized parking lot for free parking, which was great since we were able to stay and study fora while since they have a number of tables that make it good to come by yourself or up to 4-5 people. The vibe is pretty simple, modern, and clean. They also have a few shirts they sell as well. Service is also okay, they are nice and our drinks came out pretty fast. I have seen this place always busy. Came by today to try it out to see what the home was about. Walked out disappointed. Customer connection is not there. I understand they are busy, but if the drink isn't going to be the best your service has to be better. First the swirl drinks cost more cause the whip cream, which if you don't want it you still have to pay for the swirl. It was nice they were able to take the chips out of the mocha chip. But the drink was sadly bland without it, didn't taste mocha and coffee was light taste. Taro swirl just sugar taste. Barley taste the taro, just taste bland sugar. I went to ask if they could fix it or change it to something else. But the First Lady I tried to ask ignored me, and walked away. Then I tried to grab another guy, which he stopped which was nice. But he was annoyed with me for asking to change it, cause I guess their drink is supposed to taste just sugar. And I wanted to ask if I could change it to a different drink but he made me uncomfortable already so I couldn't. Then when the remake came, tasted same bland and sugary which I understand cause he remade the same drink. But that's why I wanted to ask for a different one which I couldn't. But when it came out I had to awkwardly go back in to ask for my boba and he got annoyed with me, which is also understandable cause he has to refix the thing he fixed. Overall this place is not worth $15 for one large and one small drink. Drinks are average and service sucked so badly I even took the pic off my instagram cause I didn't want people to know or advertise about this place when they treated us like crap. I got an order of the Hokkaido milk tea with black tea and there's no doubt that the drink itself is top-notch. However, I wasn't a big fan of the boba here.
