I got mine without ice because I wasn't drinking it right away and they just gave me about 1-2 inches less drink. I got it home, stored in fridge, and enjoyed like 24hrs later cuz I kind of forgot about it but IT WAS SO GOOD EVEN THAT MUCH AFTER! The taro swirl was interesting. I'm use to the actual taro paste from sunright or yoyo but this one was a powder. It wasn't BAAADDD but so different. I felt like there were small powder chunks I kept chewing on? I absolutely love their drinks. Their strawberry swirl is the best that I drive all the way from Glendale to here whenever I crave it. It's not overly sweet (you can make it sweeter if you'd like) and you can add coffee shots to it. read more

Cafe pruvia is one of my go-to coffee shops/boba places in the South bay area! It is located in a big shopping plaza (Pacific Square) with lots of other restaurants and stores. Inside there is plenty of seating and even some tables outside. I really enjoy their indoor seating and would often go there to study since they have so many tables, it would get pretty crowded though so sometimes I would have to find another place to go. The quality of service has gone down a bit since they first opened but they offer a kiosk where you can order yourself now which is very convenient when they get busy. The employees are usually very nice and helpful but sometimes the drinks can take a bit longer than before. My favorite drinks are the matcha latte and their fruit teas! I usually get the mango or peach green tea. I'm not a big fan of their boba because they use the mini boba so I usually steer clear and stick to the matcha latte. Overall I definitely recommend Cafe Pruvia and am always satisfied with my orders! read more

Annoyed. This place has terrible customer service. They messed up on our orders and didn't even label the drinks. Also, I thought this place closed at 11, but it actually closes at 10. Not a big deal, but the workers didn't even come by our table to let us know nicely to get out, instead, they TURNED UP THE MUSIC and played the song Closing Time to send is the message. What a cute spot! Loved the pineapple slush drink I had. Plenty of options for different dietary restrictions (dairy, caffeine, gluten), as well as fast service with a nice atmosphere. The whipped cream is homemade and really delicious; it tastes kinda like custard. Very cute spot! We came to the plaza to kill some time for our family dinner. I spotted Cafe Pruvia and wanted to check it out with my nieces. They love boba and milk tea so I thought it would be nice to check it out. I on the other hand love cold brew and they actually had it! I was impressed. All three of us got something and each and everyone of us gave a thumbs up on our drinks. They did mess up on one of them giving boba to the wrong drink, but my nieces never told me about it until it was too late. Lastly, I love their cups. They are pretty solid and shaped differently than a typical milk tea shop and their little stopper is adorable. Ended up keeping it and taking it home with me. In an area with so many options for coffee, tea, or boba - Cafe Pruvia definitely looks one of the nicest on the interior. I love boba and was super happy to find another boba spot to support in the South Bay. Cafe Pruvia is located at Pacific Square in Gardena. Due to the LA Country restrictions; they're only doing takeout only. They set up their shop nicely for takeout. You place your order at the entrance and then you wait outside for you order. Once your order is ready; they will bring it out to an outdoor designated table. The spot did get quite popular with picks up but it was nice to see social distancing being followed. I went with my mom and we decided to get from their Pruvia Specials menu. We got the Honeydew Swirl with boba and the Taro Swirl with boba respectively. When the drinks came out; they came out so pretty. They are very instagram photo worthy. I loved how the the swirl of whip cream in between the taro and honeydew. It's always nice to have drinks well presented. Not only were the drinks gorgeous; they tasted quite good too! They make their boba fresh and I really liked how the boba stayed soft even after awhile (I didn't get to drink my drink right away as had to do some errands after but nevertheless they drink still tasted fresh and good even after a bit. This was impressive). The flavors of the drink were on point. My mom said hers had a good honeydew flavor and likewise I could really taste the taro in mine. Overall I found their boba drinks quite refreshing. Their hot drinks look good as well and would want to try those perhaps in the future. The inside of Cafe Pruvia also looks quite neat and I this would be a great little coffee spot to sit and relax hopefully once Covid pandemic is over. You'll feel safe inside as they take careful measures with sanitization and social distancing. I've come here a couple of times already and so far my favorite ones (they're the popular ones, of course) are the Passionfruit Green Apple tea (with jasmine tea base) with lychee jelly and also their Iced Spanish Latte. I rarely drink any kind of boba or milk tea, but since I was looking for a place near by open late on a Friday night, Cafe Pruvia was it. Came in around 9 pm and it was decently crowded. You order at the counter through the machines and then they pop your drinks out 10-15 minutes later. They have a decent amount of seating inside and a few outside if desired. There are a lot of options to choose from whether it be milk teas, teas, coffees, lattes, slushes, etc. The machine has all the menu items, but also has a top 10 to choose from, which was nice. I ended up going with the passionfruit and green apple with jasmine tea. You can modify your drink when it comes to sweetness level, amount of ice, and even choose between black tea or jasmine. The cups are also very sturdy and the lids have a few options if you want to sip or use a straw. Overall, the tea was good with the jasmine having a strong flavor. The passionfruit didn't come in as much as I would've liked, but the green apple was strong. For $5.80 it wasn't bad since I know boba places usually go from $6-$7 these days. Came here 07/07/2021. I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot speak to that end. However, Cafe Pruvia is a very chic and popular hangout spot for teens-late 20s to sit down and get some work done. The interior design is spotless and clean as you can see from the photos. All the employees have to wear a black dress shirt with slacks, so everyone looks uniform and well-maintained. The drinks are all Instagram-worthy (especially the matcha swirl). Prices are higher than normal (think $6-$7 for boba drinks), but the cafe itself is very clean, efficient, and upscale. read more

The lavender is subtle, but the matcha is a perfect balance of creamy and sweet with dominant matcha taste. I am craving another pour of this as we speak. On a future visit I will also have to try the Spanish Latte or the Hokkaido Milk Tea. The interior of the cafe is white with luxe gold trim. Every now and then we'll stop at Pruvia after a Book-Off session. My first impression was that they were a little light-weight in the coffee department. They make so many other types of drinks which at this location I imagine are more popular. But today I felt the Flat White I had was more than good. Exceptional perhaps. Maybe not Sightglass but still quite satisfying. My wife's Iced Lavender Latte was very good too (if a tad sweet for my taste). I really enjoy the service and ambiance here. I love the smoothness of the lavender lattes.. makes you want to come back for a second one immediately after I'm finished. One of my friend was waiting for his when we are all half way done (he ordered before me). We gave it extra 10 min since we know they were busy and after that extra minutes when everyone got their drinks, I suggest to my friend to check in with the staff. He finally got his drink after maybe 20 minutes? My peach black tea was without sugar just only peach syrup but it's already super sweet. There's quite a few milk tea places just in the plaza but Cafe Pruvia definitely is the standout. Really solid drinks. In fact, their honey milk tea is my favorite in the area. I usually get it with jasmine and 25% sugar, and that's perfect for me. The jasmine tea can be a little tannic at times, probably from oversteeping but the flavor really shows through. Brown sugar milk tea is a close second for me, and just the standard milk tea is my go to for morning if I'm grabbing bread nearby. Love that it's not pre-made like so many places. There's one thing that they do here that really bothers me, and that is if you order the drink with no ice, you get a cup that's is sometimes 2/3 full (for the large). They take great care in measuring out everything to make sure it is consistent, which is great but I think that lack of flexibility in their drink making process is a bummer. Really the only milk tea spot that I do know of that still consistently does this. I think my colleagues and I would come daily if that wasn't the case! The pastries options are a bit limited, but the few I've tried, all really really good. Service here is great as all the staff I encountered has been super friendly. read more

I went on a weekend and there were tons of people inside studying and pretty full despite the plentiful seating. There is free Wifi! DRINKS: Matcha Swirl - 5/5 Wow the Matcha Swirl is extremely good. If you're a matcha lover you have to try it. I like thicker texture drinks and the matcha swirl tastes similar to a matcha frappe. Comes with whip cream as well. Aesthetically the drink looks very pretty. The alternating layer of colors of the drinks gives it a unique look. Very satisfied with the drink and not overly sweet I'd definitely get it again. Jasmine Green tea - 75% sweet, light ice - 4.5/5 This drink was good. I got 75% sweetness but if I went again I'd actually get 100% sweetness. The 75% sweetness was still sweet but I think regular sweetness would have been the perfect level for the drink. It is a solid drink and I was not disappointed. We decided to try this one since it has this pretty looking matcha swirl The drinks: I got large Matcha swirl, which is blended tea and it tasted like green tea frappucino from Starbucks. But sweeter. It has cute swirl designs made of whipped cream. It is also topped with whipped cream. 10/10 on the presentation ! But too sweet for my liking. Another drink I get was Lavender milk tea with 75% sugar. They have the tea based choice of Black tea or green tea, I choose green tea. It tasted very flowery. I can get the hint of lavender in there. Also in the sweeter note. The cafe is not too big and not too small. They are perfect for studying. They also have small bakery that you can buy so you don't get hungry. Their bakery options are pretty small but they are high quality. Ps: the cookies are HUGE! Bigger than my iPhone XR lol. And the staff are super friendly and informative. Makes me want to come back and try other stuff! Also I like their logo, very simple and elegant. Good job designer ! I've tried both the Iced Almond Milk Tea and Iced Lavender Milk Tea. They were both okay - a little too syrupy for my taste. I ordered 50% sweet for both, and the flavor was still quite intense so I don't recommend getting 100%. The cups are on the small side, but I wasn't able to finish either drink. Maybe not enough milk? The inside of the cafe is super clean, plenty of seats, and the staff was really friendly.
