With several boba/tea shops in the same plaza, I'm guessing they're trying to capitalize on the high foot traffic from Tokyo Central & Main supermarket, & their competitors ("boba clusters")? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order & saw someone exit with a bright green drink; the cashier said it's one of their more popular refreshers: Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher, & ordered it with lychee jelly. It's basically a slushy with passionfruit & green apple, but the flavor isn't as sharp, though it paired well with the jelly. I love peach, & their Peach Jasmine Tea is perfect for the summer... light, refreshing, & aromatically alluring with the combo of jasmine & peach. I prefer the Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba, which I claimed for my Local By Toast (LBT) $5 birthday reward. This slush has a notable peach flavor & crystal boba tastes better in this icy drink because it maintains its soft, chewy texture whereas tapioca pearls usually hardens & becomes tough after longer icy exposure. The menu is compact, consisting of: milk & flavored teas, non-caffeinated drinks, swirls, refreshers, crema (milk smoothies), coffees & coffee lattes, & tea lattes, with moderate prices in this competitive neighborhood. It's a decent selection but nothing that I considered unique enough for dedicated loyalty with other options in this center. Not the friendliest of service, but they are fast. The cafe is quite spacious with tables & chairs lining around the perimeter... with free WiFi, there's usually a crowd hanging out, particularly during the weekend evenings. If they provided board games, would that be additional entertainment to entice customers to stay a little longer & have a few more drinks? Hmmm... Cafe Pruvia uses LBT for their loyalty rewards, & program rules allows you to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, & earning 165 points for a $5 discount (or 3%). I'm not a frequent patron so I haven't checked my rewards status in a while... I came back recently when they dropped a $5 birthday reward. That's when I checked my account & saw that I only tallied 3 points after multiple trips; their tracking system is glitchy & I don't plan to fix it since there's no way I'll spend enough to earn the next $5 reward. Opened during the pandemic lockdown for nearly 6 years, Cafe Pruvia announced that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, 05/24/26, but will maintain next door sister, Pruvia Coffee Bar. Located off Redondo Beach Bl inside Pacific Square next to Pruvia Coffee Bar. This place has more space than the other one next door and opened later as well. The staff here were friendly and helpful. I got the grapefruit jasmine tea unsweetened. The differences with their matcha's according to the gal working is that theirs are all much sweeter versus next door's so I ended up asking about the fruit teas and she recommended the grapefruit because I wanted something less sweet. Overall the fruit teas were good maybe next time I may just try the matcha next time to test out the sweetness. read more

Nice quiet spot to study, very spacious, good customer service. The drinks were okay, I felt the honeydew was too sweet so I would do a 50-75% next time and the hookaido was 25% sweet but it didn't have that signature flavor flavor we were hoping for. When I first came before I was into coffee like I do now, I was surprised how rich their regular latte was. I was used to Starbucks latte and didn't know the real stuff. Today, I am more into espresso and coffee and I still come back here. Their latte is so creamy and rich especially if you choose Spanish latte which they use condensed cream. Today I decided to try something different and tried the Rose flavored latte. Unfortunately I chose less sweetness and I think this is why I don't get much of rose flavor but the latte itself is same as usual which means they pull the espresso almost the same every time. The service is fast. I probably waited 3 min or so on Friday 7pm. It was crowded with people including families. This is a must try place in Gardena. read more

Perfect spot for a quiet workspace/study spot. Came on a weekday to get some work done. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, so I still felt that human touch even though I decided to place my order on the tablet. I really like being able to place my order this way so that I can see pictures of exactly what I'm getting, see all of the options and pricing for customizations up front, and easy checkout. I got a hot tea latte and a jasmine iced tea drink. My drinks were made quickly and tasted fresh. The space was very clean and enjoyable to work in. There was soft music playing that really heightened the ambiance. There's a long booth with single tables each with a single chair on the other side so great for working solo or in pairs. Or if you have a larger group, you could probably push the tables together. Came here with my mom and a couple of my brothers after lunch. I wanted something sweet after the heavy lunch and my brothers wanted to go walk around to help with digestion. We ordered two brown sugar milk teas, a honeydew milk tea and a green tea. My mom liked her honeydew milk tea and my brothers seemed to like their drinks. I got one of the brown sugar milk tea, with less sugar and pearls. We ordered at the kiosk, so there was no interaction with the staff until our drinks were ready. I thought the flavor of my tea was okay - every time I've had a drink from here, I've always felt that it was either too strong of a flavor or too watered down. For some reason, it's never more in tune with what I like - which is totally based off my preferences, so someone else may have a different opinion. The boba pearls were very squishy and lacked any flavor, which made my drink less fun to drink, as I was trying to avoid them while drinking the rest of my tea. Overall, the shop is cute. They don't have a very extensive menu, but there is a good variety of drinks to choose from as well as milk options for those who need that. Came back after a few years. Drink menu is very similar to when they first opened. They now have all orders taken at self serve kiosks then staff will make the drink. They have a nice chill atmosphere to sit and do work. Cafe is well lit. Drinks were a bit underwhelming this time though. They have about 10 tables inside with outlets, and the crowd is usually also studying or working on something. This popular cafe has a variety of coffee and boba drinks. They have several tables available to sit at but they are usually packed during the weekends making it a bit of a noisy spot for studying. They only allow one party at the register at a time, hence the lines that can be seen outside during busy times. I've tried their iced matcha latte, matcha swirl, and hot Earl grey latte. So far I've enjoyed the hot Earl grey latte most for a comforting drink followed by the matcha swirl as a cold refreshing dessert. I didn't like their matcha latte since it didn't have much of a matcha taste and was more of just milk. The drinks are pricey at $6-7 a drink after tax. I opted for almond milk in my drinks which were an additional $1 making it almost $8 for each drink. Their drinks are pretty decent depending on which one you get, but I wouldn't say it's worth the price.
