I bought a Hojicha Latte and it was so bland. My husband ordered the matcha taro latte and it was clumpy. I don't know if it was the person making it or if this is the norm, but truly disappointing.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Delicious and refreshing soft serve ice cream! ++++ Maiko Special was delicious (even on a 35 degree day). The matcha soft serve ice cream was perrrrrfect. The other ingredients - matcha cake, corn flakes, red bean, etc. - were really nice compliments. ++++ Strawberry Taro mixed ice cream was a solid flavor. Would not have been a typical choice of ours here, but it was for the kids since matcha has caffeine. + Menu has TONNNNNNS of desserts to choose from - soft serve ice cream in a cup or cone, sundaes, shaved ice, tea drinks, floats, lattes and yogurt drinks, which all revolve around matcha or other Asian-inspired flavors like black sesame, ube, red bean and taro. Make no mistake about it though, matcha rules the menu here. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Even on an extremely windy and cold December Sunday afternoon, customers consistently came in while we enjoyed our dessert inside. It absolutely baffled us at how many people walked in to buy ice cream or a drink. It made us feel good in a way because we figured we weren't the only craaaaazy ones :)

Sweet food: bingsu (shaved ice), waffles, bubble waffles, pastries, crispy banana chips... Drinks: all sorts of coffee including their signature coffee seasalt (hot or iced), tea, bubble tea (hot or iced), matcha latte, ade, lemonade... I personally first had: - Tuna mayo kimbap - Strawberry matcha latte (made with with real fruit) - Taro shaved ice (with icecream & red beans too) I loved it so much that I came back the following day, for my last day in the neighborhood, this time having: - Tempura shrimp udon (served with kimchi) - Mango ade (made with real fruit) - Strawberry and banana waffle (served with whipped cream and ice cream) - Taro bubble tea (that I chose to have hot) And I have to say it was all SO delicious! Worth noting, better come early to have the maximum choice if kimbap as they are freshly made in the morning and can sell out fast ; and for cooked food available upon request, kitchen closes at 1PM so make sure to arrive before A few extra things to mention: For convenience they have a bathroom as well, and Wi-Fi There are claw machines for fun Korean music is played, making one feel even more in Korea The last but not the least, staff is super efficient / professional My favorite coffee shop in Palisades Park, no doubt Highly recommend! We got mango because it was marked seasonal. I would expect fresh mangoes during mango season since you've marked in "seasonal" but nope they were frozen mango and artificial mango syrup.
