in | Brunch | $50-100 First time for us our server Arta was helpful with her explanation of menu. We sat in a booth the inside is rustic Texas theme with Fort Worth proudly displayed next to the flag gotta love that. I went with my standard Philly Cheesesteak while Diana went with the Apple Walnut Cranberry Salad food was fresh and hot. Portions were plenty and we left full, although we had brunch their breakfast menu and pricing will definitely have us making another trip this way. Food: 4/5 | Serv

We went back today for Lunch - I couldn't resist going for my favorite thing on Menu Again - The Alamo. Took a bite of Grandsons Biscuits and Gravy - oh my they were amazing. Biscuits were very Light n Fluffy, Gravy was cook just right! Do yourself a Favor - If you're close by, give this place a Try!

Service was great. Fast service. Big portions. Kids tenders blew me away at how huge they were. Iron skillet was delicious. Everything was amazing. Would come again.

Doing "eat the alphabet" with the family and this was our C restaurant. We don't typically venture out this way, but found this place on Yelp, and my fellow Yelpers didn't disappoint with this one! We arrived just before noon on Sunday afternoon so there was about a 20 minute wait. The wait went by quickly and we ended up being seated 10 minutes later. The three of us opted for coffee and water. The coffee was legit! I probably could have drank a whole pot by myself. The food arrived quickly and was fresh. I ordered the Southern Scramble (biscuit, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, gravy and cheese), kid ordered the Chicken & Waffles, and hubs ordered The Alamo (2 tacos with eggs and brisket with a side of hashbrowns). So. Much. Food. The chicken and waffles came with 3 huge pieces of chicken! I've never seen chicken and waffles with this much chicken before. You typically get 1 small piece of chicken, or a wing. It was impressive. The breading was delicious but the waffle could have been just a tad sweeter. The scrambler contained the best of all breakfast items and hubs loved the tacos. The inside is very Texas and back the blue as I believe the owners are police or retired police. The cafe is family owned and operated which is very cool! Our waitress gave us some backstory and let us know that they plan on opening another restaurant down the road that will serve lunch and dinner. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu.

Apéritivo Hour should draw locals running every day in the bar & patio including drinks & snacks. I wish I had come with a larger appetite because the menu offers a balanced selection of antipasti (starters), zuppa (soup), insalata (salad), primi (housemade pasta), secondi (protein dishes), and contorni (sides). My gracious server recommended a Rosemary Foccaccia (saved for next time) and Wild Arugula salad that was garden fresh in a Texas pecan vinaigrette with snappy pecorino and the most incredible crisped chicken skin as an alternative to traditional breadcrumbs. It was light and fresh with depth and richness, a perfect starter. From cool to warm - a Kabocha Squash Soup made with honeycrisp apple cider topped a tart currant chutney and crunchy roasted pine nuts. Texture was velvety smooth, delicately sweet, perfectly balanced, thoughtfully light to precede later dishes. Dessert a must, ask for house recommendation which rotates. My lovely server remained present and attentive although I was her only patron on the patio - a sign of superb service! I'm looking forward to seconds and main on my next trip.

Overall Exceptional Food & Incredible Leftovers! The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. To start, the calamari was cooked perfectly, but the absolute highlight was the brilliant addition of fried olives mixed in. It added the perfect briny, savory crunch that took the dish to a whole new level such a creative and delicious touch! For the main course, the pasta was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The true testament to how great it was? I took the leftovers home, and it tasted just as amazing the next day for lunch. You know the food is high quality when it holds up perfectly as leftovers. We ordered the calamari and the bread & ricotta. I really loved the bread & ricotta. Something always gets me about bread and cheese. The calamari was pretty good, I liked the addition of the olives, but overall it was a typical calamari dish. We also ordered the little gem salad to share. It was perfect because there were 4 gems for each of us. This was also decent. Nothing particularly memorable about this dish, but still good. We each ordered our own entree. Our friends ordered the vodka rigatoni and the lasagna bolognese. Hubby ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and I had the cacio e Pepe and added sausage. Pastas were cooked to the perfect al dente. There was so much meat in all our entrees. We each had a bite of each other's meals. I couldn't decide which one I liked best. They were all so very good and they all tasted different. I really love having foodie friends. And then we ended with dessert/after dinner drinks. Our friends got an affogato and an espresso martini. Hubby and I shared the pistachio cake. That pistachio cake is to die for. I don't want to over exaggerate because what if you decide to get it and you hate it? Well, I loved it. It wasn't too sweet and the salt flakes on top was perfection! It was so good with the affogato. 100% would get again.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

Now I'm between Justin and Decatur so if I want to go, it's either Fort Worth and deal with crummy parking and homeless people or it's Carrollton. Carrollton usually wins out. Today I wanted to place a large to go order and was forced to use the app while I was driving so I pulled over. Over the years I've done a lot of to go with you folks and it's always been super easy. However, now that I've got to use an app it's really not convenient. I'm in sales and I used to buy $500 worth of pizza at a time to entertain my customers. Now it's just too difficult. So being forced to use the app today, I could not order the brisket lasagna. I was ordering before 5 o'clock, but pick up was scheduled for after 5 o'clock so it's a huge miss for whoever programmed your app. They should focus not on order time but delivery time. I also wanted tiramisu, apparently you were out of it. When I called to see if I could pick up everything at once and pre-order the brisket the hostess that answered the call said no you have to do it in store. When I got there, there were 10 young ladies standing around and the parking lot was empty, which was wild for a busy weekend. In any event, I couldn't get the tiramisu, so I got that from Sicilian Butcher on the way home. I was able to order the brisket lasagna. But had to pay separately so not much in the way of convenience from the staff. Then it was delayed coming out of the kitchen because they had to put it under the salamander to melt the cheese apparently. And unfortunately, the way they packed it. It leaked all over the bag and thus my car as well. Instead of putting the spoons and silverware on top, they put it on the bottom so it sat at an angle. Going a little bit further the bathrooms in each of the locations could use some serious updating. It doesn't need to be Bob's steak and chophouse, nice, but it should be at least Buc-ees nice. You seem to have a good following, I would actually like to see you move locations where parking is less of an issue and it's easy to get in and out when I want to do to go orders. Seems like you're still challenged with staffing issues and people suffering from "I don't give a damn itis" who want to do as little as possible. Having met you I know that's not your style. Happy to discuss it more detail. Hopefully get some sort of a message from you as the owner proprietor.

Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good.
