When I walked in, there was no one at the counter and I waited over 5 minutes before some one came to help me. The (worker) man wasn't friendly, and the coffee was not good to me, I ordered a soy vanilla latte and it tasted horrible. I go to Calistoga Roastery 1 block down the street, it has a much bigger selection, the (workers) people there are so sweet, and their coffee is my FAVORITE!

Apricot bar!!!

Randomly parked in a free spot in front of San Marco cafe and smelled the coffee! We automatically had to go in! I got a mocha and an apricot bar! It was soooooo delicious! My friend got a lemon bar and that was amazing also! It was a little expensive. It was like $3? Well i mean it was a good size so I can't complain. There was a man and woman working there who were not the friendliest but they were pleasant.

Yes there are other coffee places in Calistoga and other restaurants. But let's say it's Sunday and you're walking up and down Lincoln Ave and you want some ice cream. This is virtually the only place like it. There's not a big variety but they mix things up pretty well, like making shakes or scoops in a cup. They have sorbet, like raspberry sorbet. Thre was a pretty good crowd when we went there and I didn't hear any complaints. I'll try to post some photos as these will be worth more than my words.

Good ice shop will some unusual favors. No longer give free advice and their prices are steep. Their coffee ice cream is one of the best.

This is my second time back and it's just as great as I remembered. I was with the larger group so…read morewe tried multiple appetizers, including the banana bread and churros. The banana bread was perfectly moist, but with crispy edges and a delicious mascarpone side. We also had espresso martinis to complement these sweet treats. I had the egg in hole (again!) because I was still dreaming of that trouble sauce and perfectly crispy Parmesan bread. Others in my group also got that and were equally impressed! Everyone was really impressed with the meal and we would definitely come back again! We sat outside on the patio with the option for shade or heaters depending on the weather. It was very comfortable outside! Staff were attentive and friendly. It was an overall great experience.

But from the moment we arrived, the welcome and the service from our waiter were 10/10. From the very first bite, we completely fell in love with the flavor and quality of the food. The churros and banana bread were the best we've ever had, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. Without a doubt, the next time we visit Calistoga, this will be our first mandatory stop.

What an amazing experience…read more I know wine is the primary attraction but as those of us who are local know there is so much more This olive oil tasting is one of the many more things. Great ambience off Silverado trail. Cane here with my best friend to do a tasting. Charlie was our host and she was amazing. Super knowledgeable and a terrific host. We tasted two olive oils form their harvest. One was more of the less ripe olives and one was of the more ripe olives. Both were tasty. One more and the other less acidic. Both peppery. The. Came a couple of oils form Italy and Spain. I liked the Spanish one much better and it went well with the bread and was candidly amazing in its own Then rhe balsamic vinegar came. Aged to 18 years the fist was perfectly acidic and quite viscous. The second one an infused with ripe figs for a year. More sweet for me but perfectly balanced. What an awesome idea experience I highly recommend this place!!!.

For example, while others had an olive oil gelato, I had an olive oil sorbet with a blood orange gummy. It was really interesting. In no way did I feel deprived or like I was missing out. In fact, mine might have been better than what the others had. That was the last course though. Before that, we did olive oil tastings with bread and popcorn and balsamic vinegar tastings with cherry tomatoes. They used to make all the food in house but now partner with some local places. Amberly also did a wonderful job walking us through details around the tastings and it was very informative. The whole thing takes place indoors and the interior is cute with plenty of olive oil lining the walls. I would absolutely go back to do it again in the future and recommend it to anyone considering it!
