You can eat there but I chose not to. Nothing wrong with it. It's for a few tables and you can eat in. I opened it up. Smelled good and took a bit it was delicious. This sub was fantastic. Bread hearty but not too hard. Meat tender, peppers, lettuce and tomato just enough to complement the meat. Same with dressing. I got a small which was big but maybe I should have the medium. It was gone too soon. I'd get this again in a minute. It was so good! I'd travel for it. That's how good. If I'm ever around here again I'll try something else.

The same person who made my sandwich also rang me up -- without changing his gloves. He touched the register screen, bags, counters, and who knows what else, all with the same gloves he used to make my food. Then he went right back to preparing sandwiches... still no glove change. So I calmly walked over to the manager, who had already seemed pretty dismissive when I walked in. I could tell that he wasn't interested in any niceties with me, since he was saving them for the non-minority make that walked in after me. I said, "You may want to let him know that he needs to change his gloves." The manager asked, "Why?" I explained, "Because he made my sandwich, checked me out, touched the screen, and then went back to making sandwiches." His response? "Did he touch cash?" I replied, "Why does that matter? He's spreading germs." But it was clear he didn't care -- not one bit. That will be my last visit to that location. Period.

Frequented this place almost monthly for the past year. Food is good (aside from the Chicken & Waffles.. received extremely dry and overly fried chicken twice) and so is service. Management however is appalling and due to their inexcusable behavior I will never patron this restaurant again. They exploit local college labor and have ZERO respect for their employees. After a car accident in which several local college students were injured and one killed, the restaurant manager inappropriately berated an employee via text massages after the employee let management know that she was looking for cover that weekend so that she could attend funeral services for the deceased student. Management has forever lost my service for disrespecting and cursing at a young woman during such a difficult time and under extreme circumstances of a death to a colleague. Management literally told her employee "I don't feel bad for you so don't pull the college card" right after being informed that a fellow student had passed from injuries sustained in a car crash. No business that treats their employees with so little dignity and lack of concern for the community in which they belong to deserves my money. Shame on the management at this restaurant. read more

I recently visited Cafe 72 and unfortunately had a deeply disappointing experience. I've been a regular customer for years now and decided to invite family to enjoy. My family and I enjoyed our meal and meant to leave a tip on the table as we usually do for good service . (I always like to tip cash) However, upon leaving the cafe, we were unexpectedly confronted by the management, who accused us of not leaving any gratuity in a very condescending way. This experience left us feeling shocked and humiliated. The implication that we would not tip, despite leaving a gratuity on the table, felt unwarranted and frankly, racially motivated. It's deeply disheartening to encounter such discrimination in a place that should be welcoming to all customers. I urge the management of Cafe 72 to reflect on their actions and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and fairness, regardless of race or ethnicity. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. read more

Previously Nick's Café 72, this warm and friendly café is now owned by the same owners as Cugino's Italian Specialties in Pennimgton NJ. The commitment to exceptional quality in food and service is evident in both places. They have kept the American fare menu and added some unique items that cannot be found anywhere locally such as cajun shrimp and grits, biscuits & gravy, tiramisu pancakes and fig waffles! Not gonna lie, this place has some pretty good food. I always enjoy the food when I come here. BUT, the management is god awful and they have no hearts. The manager (Katie 72) was extremely disrespectful to a college student who was mourning the death of a friend and she deserves all that is coming at her. Of course it is difficult to run a business and it is stressful, but there is absolutely no reason to fire someone because they are going to a wake. Absolutely disgusting. I went here for brunch with my daughter. She attends college nearby. It was a sunday around 11:30, and there as a 30 minute wait, but they do serve coffee and water outside, which is a nice touch. I had bacon & eggs, homefries & toast which was delicious. My daughter had croissant french toast, which she enjoyed, but the smallish portion left her hungry. In retrospect, she probably should have ordered an egg dish, and we could have split the french toast. All in all, we had a good meal and will go back again. read more

It's my go to spot for sit down breakfast / brunch. It's a comfortable and clean place with fast courteous service. The food is above and beyond anything else in the area. With that being said, the prices are still reasonable and the food portions are on point. I love how they have multiple breakfast and lunch specials daily. My go to is definitely any of the egg Benedict choices, but the pulled pork option is a home run. I'd highly recommend trying cafe 72 for a great breakfast / lunch. read more

Breakfast done right. This little hole in the wall restaurant located behind a 7 Eleven is my favorite breakfast spot in Ewing. I used to live down the street from here. I have worked my way through most of the menu and I can't say I found anything I didn't like. The eggs benedict is too notch and their ever changing menu keeps me coming back for more. With food like this, prepare to wait on peak days like weekend brunch where the wait times can be long, but it still worth the wait. read more

Absolutely amazing food, very nice atmosphere and excellent service. Their specials change weekly so always check that first because there are some amazing dishes on there. I highly recommend starting your meal with either the donuts or the funnel cake fries. They have many vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu for people who need or want that kind of thing. There are also some healthy lower calorie options that are equally delicious such as the steal cut chia seed oatmeal. read more

Really great food! The eggs benedict and hashbrowns are my go to breakfast choice with a side of some fresh fruit to keep me healthy. Despite it being somewhat crowded on the weekends they never seem to take very long to seat you, maybe it's a testament to the great service because both our waiters have been wonderful. The place was very busy with many large graduation parties. We were a party of 8 and waited over an hour for a table. It took along time to get the food which was understandable because of the larger tables. The restaurant is run down and not maintained. I'll inquire if there are other options. Even if there weren't, I'd still get this anytime. I saw several other lunch items of interest to me, and in the right frame of mind and early enough several breakfast options too. Service was friendly and fast. People came out from the kitchen just to say hello. Stories were exchanged about recent trips, grandchildren and illnesses. This cafe was not just serving breakfast, it was serving continuity. This is a social institution disguised as a place that sells eggs. Despite being the only obvious outsider I was treated with the same warmth and attention as everyone else. No tests were administered, no paperwork required. The food arrived and it was good. It wasn't revolutionary, and that's exactly the point. Eggs and hash aren't supposed to surprise you.
