Where to start... The experience as a whole was good. Cafe Tazza offers cuisine from North, South and Nepalese areas. They have an amazing looking bakery and offer snacks as well. The Mango Lassi is Amazing! It is rich, creamy and has great mango flavor. There menu offer the classics like Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani and others. They also offer some American style staples for the less adventurous. Since this was a new visit for me I played it safe and went for the masala. My friend went for the Dossi and I instantly knew I F'ed up lol. Oddly, I ordered my dish with rice and it came out with naan. No big deal, I went back and asked for rice and the lady gave me a crazy scowl and was she and the young man in the cooks window were arguing about a small cup of rice. Like how difficult is it to scoop rice and how much is that going to hurt your bottom line? The ordering line moved pretty slowly as well because 1 POS terminal was down. Not the hugest deal but I would take that into consideration if you are pressed for time. Anyhoo, when the food came out, 1 at a time and we had a party of 6, it was tasty and had all the flavors one could ask for. I liked the spice level however if you don't like spice, this might not be your jam. I also loved how the chicken was so soft. Sometimes Indian cuisine can overcook chicken and even though it is in sauce, it can be hard. Lastly, the ambiance was colorful and fun! An awesome mural is front and center and the colors of the bakery and treats made it a great experience. They have a big screen showing all the natural beauty of India. I loved it and had a hard time paying attention to my party.

This used to be our go-to store years ago, but we stopped coming for a while. We decided to visit again while waiting for our Tesla to charge. We ordered Vada Pav and Pani Puri, both were just okay and we couldn't finish everything. Although I would say Vada Pav seems hot but lacked flavor and so does Pani (red and green both) for the Pani Puris. They have a huge variety of Mithai and cakes, though I've never tried them. Customer service was average. This place usually gets crowded with long lines and I have not figured what's their best dish so far.

Some dishes here are amazing and some just non edible. It's a hit or miss. We went here Thursday morning and enjoyed the vada pav, masala dosa, tandoori chicken wrap and chole bhature were amazing but the aloo paratha was awful. we also got strawberry icecream for my 3 year old and she dropped it so we went back for another scoop and they charged me which was really disappointing that they would do that. However after the icecream mishap, We had a dinner party at home today and decided to give them another shot and order from here. The Paneer tikka masala gravy was the worst I have had in the Bay Area but the butter chicken gravy was really good. I don't know how that's possible. The paneer was very old and rubbery tasting and it was embarrassing to serve such low quality food to our guests. The paneer tikka masala gravy was also very atypical - didn't taste normal at all and even the color was off. Not sure if it was some other gravy that they used from a different sabzi, but in the future they should just use the same gravy as the butter chicken gravy, they'll be better off doing that.

We have ordered pav bhaji from this place. A decent Indian place, it comes with pav, bhaji, chopped onion and green chili. The bhaji is very well cooked and pav is buttered. Overall a very well dish, worth trying.

Enjoyed a late lunch here last week! I had them Mysore masala dosa, which was tasty. The portion with large and the potato inside was flavorful. It was spicy! The sambar that came with it was also very good, but also very spicy. We also have the chole bhature, which was a popular dish probably because the bhature were large and delicious! The chole was okay. Service is quick and there is ample seating inside. They also have a lot of desserts including eggless cakes, ice cream, and mithai. Would return to try some other items! Prices are reasonable.

I visited this cafe after few of my frnz suggested it. My first experience wasn't great, but once you understand what's good to order from the cafe I think it's worth a try. The onion/veg pakoras tasted great. Their bakery has a variety of fresh sweets as well. The service seems a bit off putting when the staff sometimes appear impatient or in a rush to take the order. I haven't dined in here, just taken out.

Came here on net years day craving some Indian food and I was not disappointed! Had the chicken tikka masala, garlic and butter naan, butter chicken puff and mango lassi. Everything was fresh and delicious! Note that they make much of the food on demand so there is a wait but if you expect and plan for it, then you won't be disappointed with the food. Will definitely come back!

I was speaking with the male worker and he kept ignoring me. Horrible service and felt very unwanted in their environment as a customer. Will not be returning. Just because I am of a different race the man did not speak to me after countlessly asking him a question. He just stood there looking at me and completely ignoring me with no respect. DoorDash my order today after a year or two as I was desperately craving for samosa and vada pav. Bad decision such disappointing flavors and even worst packaging. This place few years ago was so good not sure if there were some ownership/management changes but food favors, quantity and quality all went completely down hill. Ordered samosas that were completely oil soaked , vada pav had not any garlic flavor and garlic chutney was more like ketchup , vada again were oil drenched :( , chaat was nothing gr8 about flavors but packaging leaked , only mango lassi was best just relatively but that super bright orange color was weird :( , all in all cant recommend ...:( read more

Visited on 3/16 at 5pm. Workers had poor hand hygiene. I watched ALL workers (kitchen, bakery, chaat area) touching their noses, hair while handling food. Another worker came to refill his personal water bottles and contaminated the water-faucet, it's cuz his bottle was too big for the faucet. Gross. No manager. The young guy who looked like a "manager or owner" had his wife or girlfriend there. Most workers at the front were chatting with her and not paying attention to the customer line. She was stealing the show, customers did not natter to anyone....LOL. Definitely not going here again. Pastries looked delicious but not if made with dirty hands. I mean touching nose and then reaching for food including bakery. I got two pieces of dessert from the sweets case, the worker first touched his nose and then reached for the box and desserts. This place needs a visit from the Department of Health Services. Giving one star for reasonable prices. Good menu and the food was tasty, cleanliness is needed to earn all stars. Someone recently wrote they had food poisoning. I can see how that happened. In short, believe the Yelp reviews. We were in the area and did not have time to read the yelp reviews and we just went in. The menu has lots of choices but everything we tried was below average. They served us cold lamb puffs (which was supposed to be in some sort of a heated container). The jalebis were the worst I have had in the bay area. We were planning to have dinner there but after the bad experience with lamb puff and the jalebis we decided to skip. read more

I don't know what is going on but the dishes here have gotten better. But my biggest reason to do an update is the customer service. Who ever they have handling the phone on 7/9/2023 around 1pm is like the best customer service representative ever. He is so patient- doesn't rush and makes sure you are heard and verifies that what you have asked for or customized is correct. We are so quick to point out bad customer service but we need to focus also on customer service that is outstanding -maybe even more so because then it encourages other businesses to stride for excellent customer service. read more

Heard bout this place from a friend of mine. To our surprise, Sambar here with Dosa was amazing. Was not expecting sambar to taste better here but i did which was a good surprise. Eggless Cakes were good if folks r into it Ghee roast Dosa, Podi Dosa were ok. We ordered a mango cake and received a vanilla sponge cake with some yellow frosting. Complete bullshit. This is the worst cake I have ever had. Too much food color, to the point I am worried after eating it. Not worth paying for this ! 0 star Worst management and horrible customer service. We had 2 servers - 1 was very thoughtful (stepped in to help) while the other seemed to be in a hurry (it was my understanding, they he was assigned to our table). Overall, the ambiance was great and the drinks were excellent. It is on the pricier side, and while some dishes were enjoyable, not all of the food felt worth the price.

My personal favorites were the carrot halwa, mango lassi, and biryani. The only downside was how they handled the naan. Instead of having it at the buffet, they serve it directly to the table. With the rush, it was really hard to get any, we waited almost 20 minutes for our first (and only) basket. It would be much better if naan were available at the buffet or if they circulated it more frequently. On the plus side, they were quick about clearing plates. Prices are reasonable: $24.99 for adults and $11.99 for kids, with kids under five eating free.

The ambience is decent as well. One thing I'd recommend is going earlier in the day because there's usually a bigger pastry selection. I've also noticed that the Dublin location tends to have a bit more variety in pastries and slightly better service.

Wonderful. Great. Woohooo! I couldn't believe there would ever be an Indian Bakery in Dublin. I have been living here for 14 years and never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be receiving such a wonderful bakery that reminded me of the traditional Indian tastes. My parents bought my Wedding cake from here and it was 10x better than I pictured it in my head. They did a free delivery and the owner was very helpful and really knew his stuff. I wish I could get married all over again just to see how terrific that cake looked and tasted again. They also have terrific chats and dosas. You have to see this place to believe it. Finally an Indian place to go relax at, without the hole in the wall decor. Their restrooms are soo clean and smell great too unlike other places I have been to that smell like human feces are still stuck within the pipes. Go there with friends, go there with family or heck go there by yourself, you won't regret it. read more

So we have been going to this place for 5 years now ..recent visit was on Fri 11/13/20 to get Diwali Sweets which were fine but we also ordered Samosas which was where we were shocked..One of the Samosa which thankfully an adult ate had GLASS PIECES in it ..I have them in a ziploc with my receipt...firstly no one picks the phone ..guess they are popular n busy but please fix your phone so I could save other customers from glass pieces in Samosa ..,can't be so negligent just because you busy n make dangerous food ...glass can harm anyone ...Hope Manager reads n replies ...Phone was still not picked up ...Very Upset Customer Carol thanks for replying..we definitely had glass pieces and like I said i have kept them with the receipt of $130 plus from that day ..we have eaten there for 5 years n like the food but glass was astonishing to find ..glad other customers were spared ..I wouldn't wish this on others ..Just please be more alert ..Thx read more

Came here with my husband tonight after we had dinner at Haveli Indian Cuisine next door. The girl working the register was very rude and unwelcoming. There was no greeting. She asked if we were there for sweets and what we wanted. Very pushy as if she just wanted us to leave. It was our first time here and we wanted to look around and see what they had to offer. I ordered rasgulla to go which when I got home I noticed were dry and lacking syrup. Very disappointed. The menu stated that they serve fresh sugarcane juice which my husband has been wanting for a long time. He was excited when he ordered. However the rude girl at the counter just stated they didn't have it. No explanation but a very rude answer. We wanted to like the place but mainly do to the bad customer service we will never be back to this place again. read more

This restaurant sucks! The food is just 'ok,' but the customer service and extremely rude wait staff will just ruin your day! I'd give negative stars if I could. Prepare to wait unreasonably long for the smallest and simplest order. If you dare ask for an update, prepare to be yelled at and belittled in front of everyone. And, if after an hour of waiting (like me), you ask for a refund, prepare for a fight! Not only did he refuse to accept my request for a refund, the jerk waived his hand in front of my face and told me not to talk to him. Somehow I managed to get a refund from the "manager," and walked over to Panera for a good, fresh, and most of all, courteous meal. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GO ASAP! I've lived in this area for 30+ years, and these Neanderthals aren't civilized enough to be a part of my town! read more

Attitude from the front, cashier complaining about me asking for sauces even after ordering 4 different items. He gave me only one sauce. When I asked just for one more he is like you need to pay extra 1$. Few times even after ordering togo items 1 hr before still need to wait in the store for more than hour just for Nan. Once I ordered some stuff and I was unable to see what he put in the bag so I just asked have you given this particular item . the guy says "Don't worry you will get all your stuff". So basically today is the last I went to that shop. They are the only shop around this area. but one suggestion please learn how to talk to a customer. read more

Well, for me this is my eating spot. Wether I am in fremont or tracy I stop here to eat only. Their food is just wow I am love Dahi Bhalla the most. It's yummy and mouth watering. Sambhar is the best thing try after Bhalla. Pani puri and pani with this is beyond my taste. It's amazing how the make those things. I am vegetarian and i can tell about the veg items only. I am sure, their non veg is also delicious the way they make veg. I wish if they can start paneer tikka . Would love to eat here. Overall they managed it will during the covid and I am a happy customer and will visit them again and again. Good luck guys and keep rocking. read more

OMG, service sucks beyond bad. Dosa took more than an hour to come. After an hour, I said cancel the order and refund the money; elderly guy started yelling and saying dosa takes time, you must wait. Instead of apologizing for delay he started yelling. I told him I already post a review on Yelp, he said "that's what you guys are good at". This is not the way to treat a customer. Not single employee smiled or knows what is going on there. They are asking each other what to do. This place needs system in place. It is just crazy for business like this to exist. read more

This is the best casual restaurant in bay area. You don't have to go and order regular expensive food you can just go and get delicious appetizers and deserts. Their food is sooo tasty service is really good and fast i just love it and love it. I hope we have something like this in fremont or union city so we won't have to drive all the way dublin. They will beg u for reviews for a discount and when you try to be nice and give them a review because you understand how tough it is to get authentic reviews, they tell u that ur review is not good and try to edit it. On top they took 35 min for my order and messed it up so guessing rest of reviews are fabricated as well. They are charging prices 50% over the price listed on the menu and the quality and the taste of the food gotten worse and i will not coming back here and recommend that you do the same or otherwise you will be writing the same. I used to go here just as i loved their puffs and lamb rolls but these days I am very disappointed as the rolls are literally garbage it tasted so bad while the taste of puffs has been yuk ! Service and food here has picked up a lot. I am glad we do have a place where we can get amazing good food, service and ambiance. I love their Hakka noodles, Manchurian and puffs. I come here regularly to get the organic bread for my family, they always make sure i leave with a smile on my face.
