Where to start... The experience as a whole was good. Cafe Tazza offers cuisine from North, South and Nepalese areas. They have an amazing looking bakery and offer snacks as well. The Mango Lassi is Amazing! It is rich, creamy and has great mango flavor. There menu offer the classics like Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani and others. They also offer some American style staples for the less adventurous. Since this was a new visit for me I played it safe and went for the masala. My friend went for the Dossi and I instantly knew I F'ed up lol. Oddly, I ordered my dish with rice and it came out with naan. No big deal, I went back and asked for rice and the lady gave me a crazy scowl and was she and the young man in the cooks window were arguing about a small cup of rice. Like how difficult is it to scoop rice and how much is that going to hurt your bottom line? The ordering line moved pretty slowly as well because 1 POS terminal was down. Not the hugest deal but I would take that into consideration if you are pressed for time. Anyhoo, when the food came out, 1 at a time and we had a party of 6, it was tasty and had all the flavors one could ask for. I liked the spice level however if you don't like spice, this might not be your jam. I also loved how the chicken was so soft. Sometimes Indian cuisine can overcook chicken and even though it is in sauce, it can be hard. Lastly, the ambiance was colorful and fun! An awesome mural is front and center and the colors of the bakery and treats made it a great experience. They have a big screen showing all the natural beauty of India. I loved it and had a hard time paying attention to my party.

This used to be our go-to store years ago, but we stopped coming for a while. We decided to visit again while waiting for our Tesla to charge. We ordered Vada Pav and Pani Puri, both were just okay and we couldn't finish everything. Although I would say Vada Pav seems hot but lacked flavor and so does Pani (red and green both) for the Pani Puris. They have a huge variety of Mithai and cakes, though I've never tried them. Customer service was average. This place usually gets crowded with long lines and I have not figured what's their best dish so far.

Some dishes here are amazing and some just non edible. It's a hit or miss. We went here Thursday morning and enjoyed the vada pav, masala dosa, tandoori chicken wrap and chole bhature were amazing but the aloo paratha was awful. we also got strawberry icecream for my 3 year old and she dropped it so we went back for another scoop and they charged me which was really disappointing that they would do that. However after the icecream mishap, We had a dinner party at home today and decided to give them another shot and order from here. The Paneer tikka masala gravy was the worst I have had in the Bay Area but the butter chicken gravy was really good. I don't know how that's possible. The paneer was very old and rubbery tasting and it was embarrassing to serve such low quality food to our guests. The paneer tikka masala gravy was also very atypical - didn't taste normal at all and even the color was off. Not sure if it was some other gravy that they used from a different sabzi, but in the future they should just use the same gravy as the butter chicken gravy, they'll be better off doing that.

We have ordered pav bhaji from this place. A decent Indian place, it comes with pav, bhaji, chopped onion and green chili. The bhaji is very well cooked and pav is buttered. Overall a very well dish, worth trying.

Cafe Tazza offers a warm and inviting ambiance that makes it a cozy spot for a casual meal or a relaxed coffee break. The café is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and traditional elements, featuring comfortable seating, soft lighting, and an overall welcoming vibe. It's a great place for both small gatherings and solo visits, with an atmosphere that encourages lingering and enjoying your time. Food: The food at Cafe Tazza is excellent, with a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. The café specializes in Indian-inspired dishes and fusion cuisine, offering everything from classic Indian snacks to more contemporary fare. The chicken tikka panini is a standout, with perfectly marinated chicken and flavorful spices. The samosas and chaat are delicious, providing a perfect balance of textures and flavors. For a sweet treat, the pastries and desserts, particularly the gulab jamun and chai cake, are delightful. The menu also features a good selection of vegetarian options, ensuring that there's something for everyone. We ordered a paneer tandoori roll along with fries to eat inside and a to go order of Petha (#39) , roasted barfi and about a dozen samosas (out of the world good) and definitely the items were a hit amongst all. Service: The service at Cafe Tazza is friendly and efficient. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making sure that orders are taken promptly and that diners are well cared for. While the café can get busy during peak times, the staff handles the rush well, maintaining a positive and accommodating attitude. The overall service experience is pleasant and adds to the enjoyable dining atmosphere. Drinks: Cafe Tazza offers a fantastic selection of drinks, including a variety of teas, coffees, and specialty beverages. The masala chai is a highlight, brewed to perfection with a rich blend of spices. The iced chai latte and the mango lassi are also popular choices, offering refreshing and flavorful options. The coffee menu is extensive, with options ranging from classic espresso drinks to more creative concoctions, all expertly crafted. Value: Cafe Tazza provides excellent value for money. The prices are a bit on the higher side , though the quality and portion sizes of the food and drinks is decent. Whether you're stopping by for a quick snack or enjoying a full meal, you'll find that the café offers a satisfying dining experience. Overall: Cafe Tazza in Dublin, CA, is a delightful café that excels in providing delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. With its diverse menu and excellent drink offerings, it's a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful and relaxing dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking for a great place to unwind, Cafe Tazza is a highly recommended destination.

    Masala Dosa Chole Bhature

Enjoyed a late lunch here last week! I had them Mysore masala dosa, which was tasty. The portion with large and the potato inside was flavorful. It was spicy! The sambar that came with it was also very good, but also very spicy. We also have the chole bhature, which was a popular dish probably because the bhature were large and delicious! The chole was okay. Service is quick and there is ample seating inside. They also have a lot of desserts including eggless cakes, ice cream, and mithai. Would return to try some other items! Prices are reasonable.

I visited this cafe after few of my frnz suggested it. My first experience wasn't great, but once you understand what's good to order from the cafe I think it's worth a try. The onion/veg pakoras tasted great. Their bakery has a variety of fresh sweets as well. The service seems a bit off putting when the staff sometimes appear impatient or in a rush to take the order. I haven't dined in here, just taken out.

Came here on net years day craving some Indian food and I was not disappointed! Had the chicken tikka masala, garlic and butter naan, butter chicken puff and mango lassi. Everything was fresh and delicious! Note that they make much of the food on demand so there is a wait but if you expect and plan for it, then you won't be disappointed with the food. Will definitely come back!

It's kind of pricey, especially compared to the original location in Oakland, but the food is authentic Hong Kong/Cantonese style cuisine. This will definitely satisfy your carb/MSG cravings, lol! We got takeout for a weekday lunch. This is our usual order now: Fresh sliced fish porridge, $14.95 - they always do a great job with this. This is the Cantonese equivalent of chicken noodle soup. The texture is just right, there are plenty of fish pieces, and the flavor is classic, right down to the ginger slivers. Shrimp rice noodle roll $9.50 - DH's favorite dim sum item. It is tender, and the shrimp are large and crispy. Comes with the classic soy-based sauce. Crab meat braised E - fu noodle $24.95 - DH's favorite noodle. This type of noodle is very soft and absorbs all of the flavors from the crab pieces and sauce. Great choice for seafood lovers! Shrimp silky egg chow fun $24.95 - little one's favorite. This one just has such a great combination of flavors. The velvety "gravy" really ties everything together and makes it go down smoothly. This one has flat noodles (cheung fun), like the classic beef chow fun. Comfort food for sure! Sautéed Chinese green $22.95 - this looks to be pan seared choy sum. Seems kind of expensive, but they actually pack a lot of greens into the box. They don't have the veggie clay pot anymore, Barbecue pork $15.95 - they do a pretty good job with this one too. The flavors are really good and interestingly enough it comes with these little beans on the bottom. Pork tends to be a little bit on the lean side. Portion size seems okay. We didn't get the beef chow fun because we didn't need that much food. But that one is a classic here and they usually do a great job with it too. Food is usually ready very quickly and everything was steaming hot. Staff are efficient and friendly. Give it a try; this place is consistently good and I highly recommend it!

We ordered oolong tea, which was just a tea bag in a pot. That alone is OK. However, we suspect that the tea bag was reused, as there was no flavor in the tea and the color was way too light. I informed our waiter. They said it was because the pot didn't have enough hot water, so they filled up the pot with hot water. I said wouldn't that further dilute the tea? They said no, just give it some time. There were 3 of us. We ordered 6 dishes. By the time we're almost done, the tea was still of a light yellowish color. I finally asked the manager. He apologized and replaced the tea bag with 2 new ones. The tea finally had some flavor, but we were done with dinner by then. But that's not the most disappointing thing. One of the dishes we ordered was a pepper-n-salt fish. This is a common dish. It wasn't on the menu but based on previous dining experience at this very restaurant, we knew they could make it. It came with 6 bite-sized fillet, reasonably tasty. The surprise came when we got the bill. They charged us $42 for the dish. Most dishes are $28 or less unless it's fresh seafood (i.e., taken from their live seafood tanks). I probably should've said something but decided it wasn't worth it. Oh, they charged an 18% gratuity and asked for "additional tips" on the bill. I've eaten here plenty of times and they never charged upfront gratuity for a 3-person table. Must be a recent change. That by itself is OK IMO, as long as it is clearly stated in the menu. But it's not. I normally give 20%. But this time I put a line through the "additional tips" line.

We ordered the egg tofu with veggies, beef brisket, ham and egg fried rice, and the chicken with Chinese sausage clay pot. The overall flavor profile was balanced and comforting without feeling overloaded with MSG. The egg tofu was light and nicely seasoned, and the fried rice delivered that classic Hong Kong café vibe. The clay pot had great flavor too, though I personally prefer larger pieces of chicken with less bone. Just a texture preference -- seasoning was on point. The kung pao chicken had some flavor in the sauce I wasn't totally loving, but was spicy and packed with chicken, peanuts, onions, and bell peppers. The green onion pancake was crispy and delicious, with eight slices to an order. But the star of the show was the yang chou fried rice, which is that fluffy, soft type of fried rice I absolutely love. That was the first thing that got finished at the table. Portions are generous. My brother and I are both good eaters but we still left with leftovers. However, be careful with the take-out containers here; the kung pao leaked for some reason and the containers just felt a little flimsy in general. I was in the area and decided to give Yummy Hainan Chicken a try. I ordered the K9 signature Hainan…read morechicken over rice. I placed the order over the phone and asked for it without the skin since I'm not a fan of slimy chicken skin unless it's crispy. A few minutes later they called back to ask if I wanted bone in or boneless. I told them bone in was fine, I just didn't want the skin. When I got home and ate it, the food was okay overall. The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too. It came with cucumbers, quail eggs, and fungus. I ate everything except the fungus. It had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't get into. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Hainan chicken elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

Bathroom was very clean. We had a long lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday but the waiters didn't seem pushy to make us finish and leave. Tea pot was refilled with water multiple times. Staff were exceptional and courteous. Food was good overall. The sweet dumpling with sesame and peanut sauce was freshly made and hot. It was the highlight of our lunch and a tasty dessert. The roasted pork used to taste better. Don't forget to get a picture w their signature horse by the front entrance :) Tips: put in your 2nd order of dessert after you had all the other dim sums.

They had to take us out of the restaurant and reenter from the side of the building to go upstairs. The second floor looked just as nice, clean, and spacious. I might even prefer it because it's quieter, more peaceful, and just more comfortable overall. As for the food, most of what we tried was delicious. We ordered some staple dim sum items like pork siu mai and har gow, and both were really good. I also tried the shrimp and scallop dumplings, which are similar to har gow, and those were pretty tasty too. We also got the fried rice with salted fish, and it was made in a "yang chow" style, so it was rather pale in color, but don't let that fool you, because it was really flavorful. We also ordered their fried calamari, which was meh at best and was nothing special. That was probably my least favorite dish. We also got lo mai gai and deep fried taro dumplings filled with pork. Overall, the food was really yummy. The service was great too. The staff were attentive and quick to bring extra chili sauce and other condiments when we requested them. I'd definitely come back again.
