The coffee is always delicious, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly, and everything I've tried has been fresh and beautifully made. I highly recommend Lily Cake Cafe to anyone looking for great coffee, wonderful desserts, and a warm, inviting place to spend some time. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Ironically, the employees speak Russian among themselves. We always order in English, but the service immediately became cold and unfriendly. The café is dirty, the tables are greasy, the seat cushions are stained, and I had to wipe my own table while the staff stood around watching. When I asked why the tables weren't being cleaned, I was given a sour look, as if it were my responsibility. The cakes taste old and stale. I genuinely don't understand why the owner allows her staff to treat customers this way simply because of the language they speak. Personal opinions or biases have no place in customer service.

We had to see if they had any, and luckily there was exactly one left! We bought it to have for breakfast the next morning. I'll admit, I was a little nervous because it was packaged in a bag and I wasn't sure how well it would hold up overnight. But the next morning, we basically fought over who was going to get the biggest piece. It was still flaky and delicious, and there was chocolate in every bite. The chocolate was in strips through the middle rather than spread throughout the entire pastry, but there was still enough that we never had a bite without chocolate. It ended up being such a sweet way to start our last day in town. They had so many other pastries and desserts that looked absolutely amazing, but we had just eaten lunch and knew we were heading back out for the day, so we didn't want to risk buying something that might melt in the car. If you're in Los Gatos and love chocolate croissants as much as we do, definitely stop in! And if there's only one left...don't hesitate. Grab it!

I wish we had also had lunch there - everything looked so good! Wonderful, friendly waitstaff, and the decor/ambiance reminded me very much of Paris - beautiful shop & cafe with lovely outdoor seating as well. We went to the Valrhona chocolaterie a number of times for their chocolate and hot chocolate during our recent trip to Paris - my favorite hot chocolate in the world!

Do note that this review was from the result of only getting the froyo. The frozen yogurt at Auzzy was bad. Inedibly bad. Over priced goop that doesn't taste like the description--although the double chocolate was passable. The flavors were very artificial and tasted a far cry from the labels. It truly made me miss Yogurtland and I almost wanted to find a Yogurtland and go there and then. The toppings were old. You could tell from The chocolate chips when they all have that gray hazy over them--the old chocolate film. They peanut butter chocolates were all stuck together. The other items, pretty bad. Then, they try to pass marshmallows for "mochi". When I asked the guy up front, he said they're just old. No, bro, they're quite soft and look nothing like mochi--mochi gets hard when it's old--but thanks for admitting what I suspected, that many, if not all, of your toppings are stale. Also, thanks for lying to me. $8 for a cup was pretty expensive (mind you we got almost no toppings). At this lack of quality, irredeemable. We didn't finish our yogurt.

The problem is that there isn't enough seating inside nor outside. So once you order your food, you have to eat in your car. Also if you are lucky enough to find a table, you're pretty much listening into the conversation of the people next to you because the tables are so close together. The guy next to me was talking so loud my colleague I ended up getting super annoyed. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The place is so small, I'm unsure if there are even restrooms in there.

I ordered the Thai Turkey sandwich which came with a side salad. I'm not sure what made the sandwich Thai other than the name but it was toasted and tasty. The salad was served directly on parchment paper on a tray - not my favorite presentation. And it was literally just greens with some shredded carrot and basic dressing. Price was okay but a little more than I would expect for a sandwich and bare bones side salad. I'd stop by again to sit outside and enjoy a lite bite.

It was extremely bitter and funky tasting, which is surprising for Blue Bottle. It made me think that perhaps the cold foam isn't being stored at proper temps? This location is probably ok for the basics like black coffee or iced espresso, but I'd go out of my way to a different location if you're wanting a speciality drink that's made correctly.
