The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a wonderful corner location and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The service was terrific, and the food was outstanding. The four of us ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and there was something special about being able to enjoy such a memorable meal together on an important day for our family. But what truly sets Fishing With Dynamite apart isn't just the food or the atmosphere -- it's the people. Every interaction we had with the staff was wonderful. From making the reservation, to our waitress who took such great care of us, to the servers who brought our food and drinks, everyone was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. And then something happened that took that feeling to an entirely different level. After we finished our meal, I accidentally left a small bag at the restaurant as we headed to the airport. I didn't realize it until we were already at LAX, sitting at the gate and preparing to board our flight home. My heart sank when I realized what had happened. The items inside -- AirPods, Beats headphones, an external battery pack, an expensive pair of sunglasses, and other things -- were replaceable, but a few of them were gifts and had sentimental value to me. Given that we were already at the airport, I had pretty much accepted that I would never see the bag again. My wife contacted Fishing With Dynamite, explained what had happened, and the staff immediately went to work trying to help. We were put back in touch with the waitress who had served us, and incredibly, she remembered us and was able to locate the bag. We offered to pay for shipping and for the inconvenience of someone having to take the package to the post office. Instead, later that day, the general manager reached out to us personally and assured us that they would be happy to ship everything back to us promptly -- and, even more incredibly, they wouldn't accept a penny from us for doing it. That gesture meant far more to me than simply getting my belongings back. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel transactional, the people at Fishing With Dynamite reminded me that there are still genuinely caring people who are willing to go out of their way to help someone simply because it's the right thing to do. We went to Fishing With Dynamite expecting a great lunch. We left with an incredible meal, wonderful memories from our anniversary trip, and an experience with a group of people that I will genuinely never forget. The food is fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful. The service is excellent. But most importantly, the people who work here truly care about their customers, and they proved it by going far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect.

Driving north from Long Beach, I decided to make a stop in Manhattan Beach for late lunch. I am SO GLAD I decided to stop in and eat at Cafe Wild! The decor is precious, and the entire place is clean and inviting with plenty of natural light. There is plentiful seating: you can sit at a table, the bar, or the long high tables (perfect for larger parties). The coffee I had was delicious! My boyfriend got a cappuccino made with almond milk. Both of them hit the spot and were clearly made with love. The menu provided many delicious options, while not being too overwhelming to sift through. It still took me forever to decide what to eat! Our server was very attentive and patient with us. We ended up deciding on the Truffle Bacon Mac n Cheese and the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, with a side of sweet potato fries. We loved all of it and felt stuffed afterward. The short rib was tender, the Mac n cheese was flavorful, and I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The presentation was nice, but the food was so tasty that I forgot to take a picture! Lastly, we couldn't leave without seeing what the dessert would be like here. We were not disappointed. We shared the flourless chocolate cake with bacon, candied pecans, fruit, whipped cream, and caramel. I have dreams about it still. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I'd love to return to MB specifically for this cafe by the sea. Their brunch sounds awesome. My only complaint... Honestly one of my favorite cafes to go to in Manhattan Beach. Got a chance to meet the owners Erin and Phil and they were so welcoming and friendly! They have done such a great job with the place and the food is wonderful. I love grabbing a bite and a glass of wine for happy hour! The fish and chips recipe is on point and my absolute favorite is the Go-Green Burrito! The staff is amazing - Jay, Dylan, and Leo (I see them the most) are great company and always fun to talk to. A hidden gem in Manhattan beach. Recently renovated into a super cute shabby chic beach cafe. I Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning with my family, and the place was lively at 930am. We tried 5 of their breakfasts, all were absolutely delicious, including the breakfast sandwich which was our favorite. It also lacked flavor overall. The only thing I liked was the poached eggs. The pork chop with eggs ($18.99) was extremely dry, difficult to chew, and very bland. It didn't seem seasoned at all. We ordered a side of gravy to help, but I didn't realize it cost an extra $3. I wouldn't have ordered it had I known, especially since it didn't improve the taste or texture of the pork chop. The pancakes were oddly eggy and didn't taste like pancakes at all. As for the hash browns, I didn't realize hash browns could taste bad, but these were mushy and almost slimy. Half of them were heavily seasoned, while the other half was bland. Even the ketchup didn't help because it only made them mushier. Overall, the server was nice, but I wouldn't come back here for the food.

The service is timely and friendly. And there are 5 different sitting areas (booth, bench, bar, bistro and patio), good background music and they offer beer/wine for day-drinkers. I wish they were open later and wish they had dairy-free/vegan baked good options - but not enough to deduct a star from this daily visit during my 1-week stay in the Hermosa Beach area.

My guest ordered the Short Rib Hash and found it mushy and lacking short ribs. The manager took it back and apologized and offered a different selection "on the house." A very nice gesture we didn't expect. My guest then ordered the Fig and Pig Pizza which looked and tasted great. Much appreciation to the restaurant for making our meal very special.

After that many visits, I can honestly say the quality and consistency are second to none. The food is exceptional. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the ingredients are obviously high quality, and the menu proves that healthy food doesn't have to be bland or boring. Whether I'm grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a smoothie, I always leave feeling energized instead of weighed down. The service is just as impressive as the food. Every member of the team is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do. They remember regulars, make you feel appreciated, and create an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Finding a restaurant that's both genuinely healthy and consistently delicious isn't easy, but Love Life Cafe has absolutely nailed it. If your goal is to eat clean without compromising on flavor, I can't recommend this place highly enough.
