View from the outdoor little seating area (zoomed in)

Cafe Wild is a cute, (bigger than you think) small café, with indoor and outdoor seating. Some of the outdoor seats are close enough to the ocean view, which is very nice. You have to order inside first and then snag seating, unless you have people with you to hold a spot. If you want that little spot with an ocean view you have to be quick! Haha It's all metered street parking and the signs feel like a NYC street sweeping day. But, if you're there during the week, it's pretty easy to find a spot. On a weekend I can only imagine it would be quite some work. I believe there's a lot close by. The food was pretty basic. Nothing over-the-top. Breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, lunch, etc. Very very basic flavors. But it's a relatively quiet and calm area to get breakfast or lunch at and maybe get some work done. Pricing is pretty average as well.

We had a good little breakfast here - got the burrito, hash & breakfast tacos. Everything was made fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We got some Mimosas and they were generous with their OJ/champagne ratios! We sat on the street and that was a nice option!

I needed to update the review because I recalled there were numerous flinging insects that greatly detracted from our experience. I believe they were gnats or flies. It was uncomfortable having to repeatedly swat at those pesky intruders

I loved Cafe Wild! From service to ambiance to quality and quantity of food, everything was amazing! The employees are extremely friendly and accommodating for allergies and ingredient preferences! I had the vegan hash but was able to remove the mushrooms and quinoa and replace with another vegetable! Food came out fairly quickly, and wow!! So goooooddd! Would come here again just for the potatoes! Perfectly crispy and seasoned! Absolutely amazing experience! It's a quiet and relaxed vibe, which makes it easy to socialize and have a good time! Plenty of seating inside and some seating outdoors! There is metered parking outside but no parking lot designated for cafe wild! Would highly recommend!

Great service and friendly people. The coffee is so so, but the food is awesome and cooked with care. I know it can get crazy busy here, so thankful I got to try it. We came at 10:45am, and all the outside seating was taken. But, got to enjoy the food and good conversation with my boys. Enjoy!

Cute cafe by the beach- order at kiosk and you seat yourself with a table #. Banana pancakes and french toast were not too sweet, which is usually my gripe with sweet breakfast items! Breakfast sandwich looks good but I didnt personally try it. Prices are average for the area.

There was absolutely no reason not to do a full 5 stars for this experience! It was simple, last day of my LA trip with my daughter. Returning to MN to suffer the wrath that is winter...I wanted to eat somewhere by the beach, go for a walk, sit outside. This isn't hard in this neighborhood but I am also a foodie and trying to eat healthier in general but love that about SoCal. My daughter and I walk past, looked at the menu and the seating options and it was an easy choice! Sat down outside on the sidewalk with a view of the ocean on a wonderful December morning! I ordered the breakfast burrito with some kind of side and a coffee...my daughter...I think she had some eggs Benedict thing, an almond danish and some fancy drink! Food came out quick and it was delicious. Great ingredients , great service and there is no better view. All fantastic. Love small places that care so much about the food and the ingredients ! I would definitely come back, so many choices in this area but so worth the visit! KT

Looking for some vegan breakfast, and found this adorable cafe the Vegan Hash with an Almond Milk Latte fit the bill! I will definitely return, the staff is helpful and accommodating, the location is charming! Just blocks from the beach! Wonderful way to start the day!

This place was super friendly, freaky fast and had a great outdoor seating option! The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan hash. It was a great way to start the day!

Your typical dime a dozen brunch spot in an affluent area that is quite overpriced for what you get. Ambiance is fine with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly although it took over half an hour to get our food during a time of the morning that was not very busy. Food was pretty good, but nothing spectacular especially looking at the price for what we got. Was nice to go there once, but I would not go out of my way to eat here again.

This is such a cute brunch cafe right by Manhattan Beach with the friendliest staff! The guy taking our orders was actually so nice and helpful, definitely embodying that kind beachy vibe. We sat outside which was cute with the blue exterior of the cafe and was great for enjoying the nice weather. For food we split the Smoked Salmon Toast and Good Vibes Burrito with chicken sausage. The toast was yummy with the everything bagel seasoning, and the burrito was hearty and delicious. The salsa and hot sauce was definitely helpful for the burrito. We got the burrito with the breakfast potatoes, which were tasty and went well with everything. I also got a cappuccino, which was frothy and good.

Breakfast is amazingly great here I always get the steak and eggs or the chilaquiles. Definitely recommend both plates.

Food is amazing with an amazing view of Manhattan beach. Staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. The service is great. 10/10 I definitely recommend eating here & I will definitely be back!!!

The wrong burrito I didn't order.

Our server, Raquel, was lovely and on top of things. I had what I think is the best Mai Tai I've ever had, even while in Hawaii! Just delicious. We enjoyed the fried asparagus and bacon deviled eggs as our appetizer. The buttermilk fried chicken, crispy chicken sandwich and the ribeye melt were really good, but I am STILL thinking about how incredible Cha Cha's Spicy Rigatoni was. So incredibly creamy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. My daughter orders this every time it's on a menu, and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. SO good. We had mentioned we were celebrating our twins' birthday, and they were served two lovely pieces of chocolate cake with a candle, AND a card for each of them signed by the staff. We started with a coffee and café latte, which were just okay. We wanted to order the ceviche, but it was unfortunately unavailable. Eggs Benedict with Ham: Not worth the $19 price tag. The egg wasn't very runny, and the overall flavors were nothing special. Belgian Waffle: Met expectations--a safe choice. Breakfast Pita: Essentially a breakfast burrito in pita bread form. Very solid and served with a great hot sauce. The spiced hashbrowns were also a very nice touch. Overall, the menu felt stronger on the Mexican side than the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the hot sauce ended up being the most flavorful part of our meal. If I were to return, I'd stick to one of the Mexican dishes. Some dishes could've been executed better. Going down the list of dishes I had here: - Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits: These were more like scones rather than biscuits. Crunchy with good bacon and cheddar flavor. - Japanese Hamachi Crudo: Unique and I liked the citrusy flavor and creamy texture. However, 3 small slices of fish for $26 was overpriced. - Leafy Greens & Radicchio: Solid and crispy salad with a nice tangy dressing. The cheese also added a lot of sharp flavor which was nice. - Skirt Steak: Good flavor and char, but a bit tough. Also some dry pieces. - Chilean Sea Bass: Lemon orzo risotto was creamy and delicious. The sea bass itself was okay, nothing special. It felt overpowered by the risotto. The fish was moist and flaky though. - 20 Oz Prime Beef Ribeye: Quality was subpar relative to price. Portion size was solid by the steak itself was inconsistent. Some of the pieces were rarer while others were more well-done even though we asked for medium rare. There were also some dry pieces which I did not like. Flavor was good though. - Strawberry and Olive Oil Cake: Was confused since there was just a thin layer of cake, but realized the title also referred to the mousse. I would title it 'Strawberry Mousse with Olive Oil Cake" to make it less confusing. Regardless, this was a delicious dessert! Love the fruity strawberry and savory pistachio flavors as well as the smooth textures. - S'mores sundae: Got this on the house for my aunt's birthday. A generous portion but the components were a bit too sweet for my liking. I visited this restaurant for a birthday that I organized and my experience was overall good. Reservation was made easy using OpenTable and I could also mention it was for a birthday occasion. The ambiance was gorgeous with good mood lighting. Good for group and 1 on 1 dining. Parking is metered or street parking. Overall, I probably wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but my experience wasn't bad just not significant enough to put in my rotation. Would come back if someone treated me here though.

The ocean views are absolutely beautiful, the bar area has a great energy, the staff was friendly and attentive, and there's clearly a strong local regular crowd that gives the place life and personality. The atmosphere honestly carries a lot of the experience here. Food-wise though, I have mixed feelings considering the pricing. The menu is definitely charging premium Manhattan Beach/oceanfront prices, but most of the food itself felt pretty average. The breakfast potatoes were especially mid and lacked seasoning or anything memorable. My wife didn't enjoy the pork belly benedict much, although she did really like the salmon benedict. On the other hand, the bluefin tuna tostada was magnificent and easily one of the standout dishes we had. The fries situation was fascinating to me. They're $15, but to be fair they give you an absurd amount of fries -- basically an entire fry boat. They also serve them with house-made ketchup and aioli, which sounds great... except they give you about a thimble worth of sauce. I started noticing almost every other table with fries had huge piles left over and completely ran out of sauce early on. At that point it almost feels intentional because there's no way the restaurant hasn't noticed this pattern already. Overall, this is the kind of place where you go for the scenery, people watching, drinks, atmosphere, and social experience more than for mind-blowing food. If you approach it that way, it's a really enjoyable spot.
