Growing up, I've seen Wahib in Alhambra, but never gave it a try. Unfortunately, that location has closed. Coming across this location at the Blossom food market, I had to give this place a try. The staff was friendly and there were many choices on the menu. My gf ordered the chicken kebab plate, which was flavorful and I ordered the gyro plate, which was also delicious. The ingredients were of great quality and there were many places to sit. There's also a nearby bar to purchase alcoholic drinks if that's your thing. Location/Parking: Located inside the Blossom Market Hall next to Caribbean Gourmet. Parking can be found in their private lot. Ambiance/Decor: Ambiance could be the same as the food hall with some communal bar tables up front from the food stall. There are ceiling fans that might make your eyes uncomfortable (shadows from the fan blades/light or wind blowing into your eyes). Service: Service was alright. George was friendly and quite informational about the shop. Order of operations is fairly straight forward. Order at the cashier, take yourself with your pager somewhere to sit, wait, or walk around til your food is ready to picked up. Food Of Choice: 1) Chicken Wrap: Consists of brochette of chicken breast, marinated and grilled rolled with lettuce, tomatoes and garlic paste. Chicken wrap was good. You would think the food would be piping hot since it's made fresh and required such a long wait...but no... Everything was lukewarm and the bread was cold. The salad consisted of lettuce and some marinated tomatoes that tasted sour. The hummus was very bland and the bread was thin, but soft. The Luhle (ground beef) was savory, but wasn't very juicy at all. The RICE, however, was very delicious. It was well seasoned and you can taste the different spices used to flavor it. They are known for their authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean kebob plates (beef, chicken, kefta, lule), other plates (falafel, gyro, salmon, vegan), wraps, soup & salads, fries, and various appetizers. Desserts and drinks are available, too. My eldest daughter and I had already eaten, but we wanted to support this vendor during our first visit. Gentleman behind the register was nice and friendly. Lady who bagged my order was okay... not too smiley though. I got their Chipotle Fries as it was recommended in the article. Pricing wasn't too bad for the amount of fries given. It took them about 10 minutes to complete my to-go order. Lots of fries which was great. However, I didn't know the fries were going to be smothered with sauce on top. Otherwise, I would have asked for the sauce to be on the side. Anyway, fries with chipotle sauce was very tasty. There is a spicy kick to it, but manageable. They also have a sign that says they're not associated with the old Wahib's that used to be located in Alhambra (guess they've had a lot of questions about that lol). Since it's a market hall, there's plenty of seating all around on the ground floor as well as outside patio seating.
